Now that the Affidavit contents have been disclosed, along with a few other heretofore nondisclosed pieces of info, I'll assume everyone is well versed on what is being released to the public to date. I'm a bit troubled by the absence of detail one would expect to find, however, that doesn't mean there isn't detail, it simply means if there is detail, it has yet to be disclosed. Question: is anyone similarly troubled by the timeline of the suspect's vehicle entry into the King Road neighborhood and the exit of the suspect's vehicle out of the neighborhood? According to the affidavit, suspect vehicle was observed moving into the King Road neighborhood at 4:04 AM. No detail as to how close to the house, no definition of King Road neighborhood. Next, is the statement that suspect vehicle is observed leaving the King Road neighborhood at 4:20 AM at a high rate of speed. Again, no detail. The observations were captured from security video and both captures were of the suspect vehicle moving. Troubling is that the suspect would need to park, get out, enter house, kill 4 people, get out of the house, get back to the car and leave. The surviving roommate describes an athletic build of a man walking. Not running or moving fast. Most of the news reports describe BK as skinny, not athletic. But - individual observations are very subjective. The surviving roommate might consider athletic what others consider skinny. Unimportant. What troubles me is the timeframe - especially in light of additional information revealing that one roommate was downstairs in the kitchen leaving a DoorDash bag on the counter, perhaps taking contents back up to her room to eat and play on her phone between 4:00 AM and 4:12AM. There are other tidbits of info that suggest activity other than sleeping of at least 2 of the victims. It appears there would be a bit of struggle between the suspect and 2 of the victims which would eat up a few minutes. And, remember 2 victims were on the 2nd floor and 2 victims were on the 3rd floor. Considering the minutes available to the suspect in order to accomplish the slaughter of the 4 victims, any thoughts?

How can it be *that* old when he just arrived on...what, January 5?

These threads make everything seem "old," but in fact, there are no up to date timelines posted here (yet), and this has been a really fast-moving case.

I am here *a lot* and I hadn't seen it (not sure what I think of it yet - there are tons of articles to read, but this is hardly stale news). I hadn't heard that employees inside the jail were speaking out at all.

When did you first hear that?
It supposedly happened at the PA jail before he was extradited to ID

What if the defense arranged it, as it appears to me? Who are they going to blame but themselves?
If that's the case...we are good. Lol

I didn't know there are different kinds of warrants, but it makes sense.
Yes, no knock warrants have gained notoriety in the past two years because when the police burst in, innocent people have been killed when someone in the house reaches for a gun thinking there's a burglar and the police have opened fire. Apparently, no knock warrants are used to gain the element of surprise so that the suspect doesn't have time to hide or destroy evidence.

If LE can not find the knife, they may able to find when he bought it? If it is not received as a gift from his relative(s). But credit card history go back to 5 years only? Or he bought it form a local guy. The manufacture may able to identify the model and year of this sheath. And he said he likes to shop there, LE may able to find what he bought. I don't think this (6month 12 times) is as important where he was in that Nov 13 night. Also the LE knew so many details like 3 point turn, are they get that info from street camera? I never thought there are so many cameras in a small town random street. Maybe LE can find shoe info though show print?
Honestly, I will not be the least bit surprised if by the time we get to trial, we find our that the prosecution already has all kinds of details and evidence pertaining to BK acquiring that knife… whether they are able to find the murder weapon or not, I think they can still establish proof beyond a reasonable doubt. I’ve just been so impressed with how LE has played their cards thus far, and I also believe they have far, far more information than simply what was released in the PCA. I’ll be honest that I had some major doubts in the beginning, I think a lot of people did, but at this point, they’ve proved to me that they absolutely know what they’re doing and I have a lot of faith in them moving forward. I really think that by the time all is said and done, BK won’t be able to believe what hit him.

I think it was very personal against one of the girls. But I can't imagine stalking (imo) as he did for so many trips near the house, how could a grown man be so infuriated by a rejection? Especially if there never had been a relationship except in his own mind. I'm lost on how this could fester in someone way beyond his teens.

Freud would say "infantile personality." But I'm not at all convinced there was any rejection or anything other than a parasocial relationship (if any) between BK and any of the victims.

I used to think that was a strong possibility, but not so much any more. He lurked. He would have taken anything as rejection and probably had as many 5 or more women on his watchlist as not having paid any attention to him, even though they every right to look past him.

Monday evening after he appeared in court. Then, everyone was saying that he was going to plead not guilty. The same two quotes were used, but the second one was not quoted as a joke. It was just quoted. These were the only two comments verified by LE.

they were ISP and MPD staff- I recognised them from all the previous photos we've seen of officers at the scene since mid November

ps
I guess evidence gathering was completed some time ago ( all 5 beds were removed according to Cindizzi's posts - not just the victims' beds

You’re right. I should have been more clear. The other children were at school. They had to find the bodies. That is what I was suggesting as a possibility in BK’s case. If he wants to watch it all unfold, then maybe he thought leaving the other two roommates would speed up the discovery. This could also be why he returned around 9am. All moo
Not trying to be argumentative, but couldn't this be said of almost all murders? Someone, usually a family member or roommate, is always going to discover them, right?

Post in thread 'ID - 4 Univ of Idaho Students Murdered - Bryan Kohberger Arrested - Moscow # 54'
ID - 4 Univ of Idaho Students Murdered - Bryan Kohberger Arrested - Moscow # 54

I suspect evidence is buried (maybe some burned, but that would attract more attention) somewhere in the wilderness of ID/WA south of the Moscow-Pullman area. JMO and speculation based on his November 13/14 cell pings and dead periods.

I didn’t realize that Ethan was such a large guy. He could of over powered BCK so he was probably in bed.formerly he worked at a tulip farm and the farm is going to have a special tulip (yellow and white) in his honor

Do you know when this is scheduled to air? I didn’t see a date/time… I would like to DVR if you know?

NM — googled it and says it’s supposed to air at 10 PM ET on CBS… However, I’m ET and CBS is not airing the episode in my area until midnight… just in case anyone else is looking for it in the 10 PM timeslot and can’t find it, try midnight.

I again saw the suggestion that the intent of BK was rape. The knife that he brought has a blood groove, IMO one function of this is so that the knife can be extracted with less suction & can be reinserted quickly (it also makes it lighter). There are many places where you can find knife owners discussing and debating the function and benefits of a blood groove. IMO he came there to kill.

As far as using the sheath on his belt, opening his belt & having the sheath fall off...He would have used the leather belt loop to secure it to his belt behind the first, or even second, cloth loop on his pants. Additionally, the sheath and knife would have been unwieldy. I am not going to assume that he actually ever had it attached to his pants. I think he probably wore a bunny suit or coveralls on top of his clothing, or even a very large hoodie with a front pocket.

I do think that he may use "intent to rape" as a way to avoid admitting to entering that house with the intent to murder. IMO he was adept at stalking this group, he probably had many better opportunities to be alone with his intended victim, if rape and rape only, were the goal.

The more I read this case, the more I think of the Delphi girls. They are the reason I opened the account here and stopped using the platform as no viable leads for so many years (except last year). Brave Liberty has left precious evidence but still.

Ethan's tulip legacy from cbs 48hrs

Pretty awesome, full of tears...

I would hope that a DNA tests were conducted prior to taking it for a ride in pick up truck. Yikes. I guess the mattresses are considered "biohazards", due to the situation...but I'm not sure how large pieces of biohazardous evidence is handled. Anyone?

As for the attorney, Mark Geragos is a Baez Light, imho....but others may think differently. He defended Scott Peterson, iirc.
What is a Baez Light?

Stepping in to say, I read this yesterday. Another prisoner gave a long harangue (imo) about BK yelling and exposing himself and lifting his shirt and cursing. Later yesterday, I read an article quoting a guard who said none of that was true and he was well-behaved. IIRC, both articles were in The Daily Mail, so. . .

Jan 4. Newsmation.com. Bansfield. Here’s the paragraph.

“When he was asked why he killed the four students, he responded, “I didn’t do anything.” When he was asked why he even went to Moscow, Idaho, he said, “The shopping is better in Idaho.”

That is very sweet. I’m glad they are doing that for him. ♥️
