Nothing definite rules out that possibility atm I suppose. Unfortunately the evidence per PCA so far doesn't really paint such a picture, the repeated barking that is on the audio occurs at c 4.17am, at which point, if I read the PCA right, BK (alleged killer) is thought to be about to exit the premises (ie seen leaving neighbourhood at speed at 4.20am). My feeling is that if that is a hair from Murphy from BK's appartment, he likely just picked it up in one of the rooms as he was moving throughout the house..on his clothing or shoes for eg...then transferred back to his place. MOO
The dog could have barked at some other point, but if so we aren't privy to that info. I feel sure LE would have examined the dog minutely. Nothing was ever released to suggest the dog had blood on it, but you're right in that LE have not ruled it out. MOO
I think Kaylee's dog did a lot of barking because he knew there were terrible things happening. I think he could hear enough with his amazing dog's hearing, to be sure of that. It's possible his barking made bk nervous, and he went in there trying to calm him down. He only got covered with evidence. for his trouble.Nothing has ever been released by LE to suggest Murphy ever came into direct contact with the alleged perp (BK). BK could have picked up a/some hair/s on his person from other parts of the house and if so transferred them back to his residence inadvertently. MOO.
Just curious why you think that the owner of the MG restaurant thinks her business has been ruined? I'm not trying to argue, just curious as to why she would think that, or why you think that? The restaurant has done nothing wrong, it lost two wonderful employees. There was a very high profile murder case in my town a few years ago, the entire trial was televised daily on Court tv, as well as other networks on tv. The coffee shop where the victim and the murderer met and hung out at did alright and is still around. Just my opinion, but I think it would have an opposite (positive) effect on the business, i.e. people going there to show support (to the restaurant, owners, and other employees). Again, moo.
