Well, no harm searching until such a time as LE confirm that as fact. You may well be correct but still worth fresh eyes IMO
Certainly no harm, but how many resources can you dedicate to such a remotely successful effort? If BK waives extradition and does not waive his right to a speedy trial when arraigned, LE will be under a tight timeframe to accumulate additional evidence. IMO, I would dedicate resources instead to scour his devices, bank records, Amazon account and credit cards to prove he purchased or had a fixed blade knife matching the weapon used in the murders. I’ll bet there are many photos of him with such a knife on his devices.

Reminding me of Father Brown, "Where does a wise man hide a pebble? On the beach....Where does a wise man hide a leaf? In the forest".

So I don't know much about Kbar knives, but an intelligent man - either in a collection, or among someone's cutlery?
Not sure a K-bar was confirmed, only a fixed blade, large resembling one..
i'm thinking disposal would have been pre-planned in a location familiar to the perp.
Very familiar.
Did he attend college next day? How did he travel, walk or drive?

which dog we talkin' 'bout?
I'm sorry I didn't clariyfy.
The OP mentioned 'Dog' and it just made me think about if there was an actual family pet dog, the dog could be incriminating, in the context that it's hair was found in Idaho. JMO.

There was a heavy presence at his Washington apartment yesterday including the prosecutor. Idk would we travel with a murder weapon in our car with dad driving part way or leave it under a pillow or hidden somewhere at home? Lol idk never gave it much thought

He did not expect to be found. He might have simply put it back to its regular place, for a while. I wonder if his apartment has a dishwasher?

Has anyone found or looked at the vigil photos from WSU in Pullman a day or so after the one held in Moscow to see if he may have attended that vigil?

I wonder if BCK attended any of the press conferences...in particular the ones where the parents spoke?
Or did he attend the Celebration of life ceremony

But now that we’re on the topic of physical appearance, I think it’s interesting to see how BK’a facial structure changes slightly from photo to photo. I know some of this could be explained by drastic weight loss or changes in diet. But there’s one specific change that grabbed my attention. In an older photo online he has a deep worry line across his forehead, while in his recent photos (including mug) his forehead is completely smooth, no worry line. I’ve consulted cosmetic dermatologists about my own worry line and have been told Botox is the only solution, that they don’t go away on their own. So… has BK been getting Botox injections? And if so for how long? (Mainly interested to know how timing might align with other life events). Any dermatologists who can review photos and confirm/dispel?

For reference, attaching the photo where I thought the line was most visible. Unfortunately the higher res version is no longer online, or if it is, View attachment 391613I can’t find it.
looks like sunshade white to me.

That WA/Idaho area is so rural a knife could have been ditched or buried easily, never to be found. JMO.

He reported to be a late night runner. Wonder if he had caches set up where he dumped weapon and clothing right after the crimes?
You know, when that night running anecdote came out, I wondered the same!

But then I realized it would be unfathomable to me any human being could jog from WSU along the Chipman Trail to the King Rd house in Moscow, brutally murder 4 sleeping kids with their whole bright futures ahead, and jog back. MOO

Unfathomable … not impossible. Moo.

They don't even need that. Putting victims DNA in contact with his DNA and /or their DNA in his car or on anything he possessed is a good starting point.
I agree because I get the sense LE has some fairly strong and irrefutable DNA evidence, which is why they decided to seek the arrest warrant. Yet, knowing how high profile this prosecution will be, I would imagine the prosecutors will want to dot every I and cross every T. It’s treacherous to put all faith on any one piece of evidence which might be excluded on the basis of some technicality.

Aired within the last hour. Discussion briefly touched on many of the topics discussed here. Short video

Woah.
I was SHOCKED when Dr. Lieberman suggested that BK’s obsession with veganism/no meat in his pots potentially signals he has a fear of cannibalism for himself!

Absolutely.
But suppose he wanted to keep it?

plus the misrepresentation of online rumours as facts.

Since he was arrested at his parents house (?) ; would LE have had a search warrant for the electronics/phones in that house , besides his other residences/rentals ?

Great question. Do we have any firm information as to who conducted the search of his parents house? Was it PA or FBI?

It's driving me crazy too. I've seen about a handful of comments mentioning the car was having problems....(mechanical issues?). I've asked for links because I haven't seen but nothing.

If anyone has a link or a direction to point in about this, please reply with it. If not, I promise to not bring up again.
I'm one of the folks who mentioned the topic of the car having mechanical issues, but I didn't assert it actually did, I merely suggested that claiming there were mechanical concerns could have been a reasonable way for BK to convince his father to accompany him for the drive from ID to PA. I've seen others mention the same option, but have seen no one suggest there were in reality any mechanical concerns.

I feel so bad for his family members. I can't imagine their shock and disbelief, and knowing how things go these days, they are probably getting harassed and receiving death threats for something they are not responsible for.

His family, the victims' families--all collateral damage and for what?
