But this does show his right hand closer. Doesn’t appear to be a shadow-

Why not? Sun comes approximately from 1 o clock car direction so imho this could be a possible shadow of one forearm bone.

The only thing I notice is that perp's right hand appears to possibly be swollen - but wouldn't expect that at all over a month after the murders...
Maybe he broke his hand and didnt want to go to the Dr out of fear of being reported?

I've experienced a police 'raid' (looking for a family member who was later charged for the crime). 3 police cars worth of policemen (so idk, at least 8 of them?) coming into my house. It was absolutely terrifying.

In my own experience the police knocked on the door and were let in at 7am and that was traumatising enough, I can't imagine how awful it would at 3am, and in that way.
I'm sorry for your experience, but the fact that the SERT team was approved to enter the home at that time and in that manner required some pretty solid evidence that BK is guilty in the PCA AA.

With all the facial analyzing I’m wondering what’s acceptable when being accused of a quadruple homicide? I mean I can understand some of it but is there ANY presumption of innocence? JMO MOO

Not sure I understand the question.

The presumption of innocence is a legal doctrine, not a human behavioral doctrine. None of us can keep from automatically noticing other humans and their expressions.

How is BK not being treated as if he's innocent? They had a cadre of LE to make sure no one tried to assassinate him. They are accommodating his dietary restriction to a reasonable degree. He is clothed and I'm sure if he'd wanted to be warmer, they have a prisoner's jacket he could wear (he didn't want to, IMO).

The presumption of innocence does not mean that a person can remain free and able to go where ever they want. And that's just for starters. No guarantee that the person's going to get a cheerful good morning from the guards or the food tray bringers. It just means that certain things about a person's past cannot be brought in against them (they get to start with a kind of legal blank slate except in crimes charged as conspiracies or serial crimes). It does not mean they can't be looked at, studied, histories taken of them (by talking to others), etc. The Court (Judge after hearing arguments and doing research) will decide which facts he can be tried on (and that's what the presumption of innocence really means - only certain kinds of evidence can be brought against a person, evidence of past guilt of something is often not allowed).

Defendant, if they choose to do so, can assert that their character is so upstanding that no reasonable person, upon hearing from character witnesses, could ever find them guilty. If the defense opens that door, then counter-witnesses can be brought in (no bueno for BK, IMO).

If this is how they arrested him, then it is clearly way over the top. He did not have weapon, neither his dad, they are not terrorists, fgs, why demolishing half of the house where his parents live?

They suspect he stabbed and killed four people. They had no idea whether he had a weapon or not. You can fix windows and doors, if they go up and knock on the door and the suspect shoots them, or takes others in the house hostage, that’s not so easily fixed.

The Elantra in the Indiana body cam video looks really muddy in the rear and sides.

Where is this guy? Still in PA or has he arrived here yet? I’m confused. (Sorry!)
I believe it could take up to 30 days before he is transferred. No new information until he arrives in Idaho. Unless they find the weapon.

It definitely was LE who broke the windows:
The search warrant was served in the early hours of December 30 to protect the investigators as well as Kohberger, explained Colonel Evanchick.

Evanchick said as they apprehended Kohberger multiple windows were broken in the process as they approached the home in Indian Mountain Lake Development where he was reported to have lived with his parents.

Colonel Robert Evanchick stated multiple items were seized from the home along with a white Elantra vehicle as part of the Idaho investigation.

@10:20 Pennsylvania offers to facilitate the investigation w/ID

How would officers know if he had a weapon in there? He is believed to have brutally murdered 4 people.

I thought maybe his father might have punched windows & broken things in anger & frustration that his son is suddenly accused of mass murder & driven away in cuffs.

You may be right, though.

ETA: I see a new post saying LE did the damage.

I wonder how BK will feel about having a female attorney….
Actually, when it comes to protecting him, and serving his legal cause, BK, raised in a family dominated by women, I think he prefers this. IMO, he likes a woman serving him-- especially if he feels like he's in control of the relationship, and he'll relish the idea he can fire her. MOO

No, it’s a maximum of 10 days.

Perhaps because he was being arrested for the brutal murder of four people? LE had no idea how that was going to go down. The house could have been filled with guns, he could have taken his parents hostage. He could have fled out the back door while they politely knocked on the front.

Also, breaking doors and windows and does not mean half the house was demolished by most standards.

So I am tired and worked all day, so thank you for this!
I do not believe this statement he made is a fact that is solid and definitely think this tactic to inflate confidence in the arrest but IF this is true where in the legal world would the information on it be? What is the legal code or statue that makes this a thing? (for learning purposes)
Love always!
What I found is that since it was not his home, it requires a second search warrant. So not one, but two!

The car appears to be manual transmission. It looks like the top part of the shifter is crushed-- I don't think that means anything; it's just strange. View attachment 392122
Looks like an automatic, push the button on top (the darker black) and move the stick forward of backwards for D/N/R etc.
