OK Sleuths …

If the DA has BK’s bloody fingerprints, his touch DNA or his blood DNA at the crime scene OR a victim’s blood on one of BK’s possessions (car, item in his dumpster, apartment, office, etc.) ….

Will he take a plea to life without parole …

Or will he fight to the bitter end?
Maybe it's just me, but when he mouthed I love you to his parents, it slightly changed what I may have thought about him, so hard to say. Before we knew anything, many thought he was a heartless person with no emotion, just a <modsnip - namecalling> murderer, and would just fight anything to be right. Now, I'm not so sure what to expect. Could still be, but I am thinking slightly differently about the suspect than I did before (regarding personal motivation specifically) JMO

For anyone new to this phase, be prepared for what might be some pretty ugly forensic details. We don't know, but be prepared.

That's a big part of the allure of the whole thing, no? I think most have their "true crime" popcorn out.

I see. Of course you can guess, we all do. But someone wrote that there are old injuries on his arm which prompted my questions.

I doubt that if he had injuries caused by any of the victims, he would not cover the damaged areas. Jmo

To me, he has some sort of reaction to his arm and wrists, which I observed only on some images taken yesterday, during the hearing. As an allergic sufferer, I am guessing he may have an allergic reaction to handcuffs. I have a severe one caused by some metals. It could be vety bad and the worst part is that started when I was in my late 20s, his age. It is also worse in polluted areas. I suppose, he will be checked and observed by professionals.
Possibly allergic to latex gloves he had been wearing? MOO

Mainly I think the 2 states will split the cost. Also the direction of the plane and its airspeed so low. If it was a direct flight I think it would be an FBI plane This plane is registered to Pennsylvania State Police. I have no idea tho. Just speculation.

My thought was it being a prop plane and going that far and at that speed. We're looking at a 22 hour flight. Could it be a hand-off flight?

I'm sure additional funds would be available to get the job done. THE Idaho AG probably has some sort of prosecution assistance funds available, or the Gov could ask the legislature to authorize some funding.
Of course there would be additional funds.

My gran used to tell me: your injuries will heal as many days as the number of your age. Younger people heal faster than older ones, same injuries. He is young, with good skin turgor, an average injury should heal within a month.

But. 2 weeks after the murders he was 100% teaching students, they would have noticed cuts and injuries at that time, as the injuries would have not heal yet.

But they do not report observing any injuires/scratches/cuts on him.

They would only have noticed scratches or cuts on the unclothed part of his body. If he was wearing gloves all the time in PA (while out of the house), might he not have done the same in WA? Perhaps latex or similar gloves (we have them available in the classrooms still, where I teach). Acting like a germophobe.

OTOH, he might not have had any such injuries at all. But somehow, he left a pretty usable DNA profile at the crime scene.

He could’ve been sick or saliva could’ve dripped during the act(s). Or maybe his nose bled if it was hit. Whatever, I can’t wait for justice to be served on this one.
ITA.
If even one of the victims managed to land a punch to his nose... I hope it was a good one !
Justice for Maddie, Kaylee, Xana, and Ethan !!!!!!

The plane appears to be decreasing in altitude, possibly landing somewhere in Illinois? MOO

I'm not sure your math is correct. That plane can go up to 300 mph I think.

Down to about 15K feet from 24K. Wonder if they are stopping for fuel

Was just coming here to squawk about this development.

I'm curious to know if he took time to wash (possibly victim's -- or his own -- blood ?) his face/hands before he left ?
Doubtful... but I'm certain LE checked the drains anyway.

This officer sounds to me much less jovial and more suspicious than the officer in the second stop.

Typically being pulled over for tailgating wouldn’t include questions about if either of them work at WSU, for instance, or where they were headed.

I still think this Indiana cop couldn’t have known, though. In the press conference we learned that only a handful of LE and prosecutors knew that Bryan was the one, and even if this police officer knew about the white Elantra, he also let him go.

Unless the officer was informed somehow that this car was under surveillance, that a plan was in place, and this officer obviously did not have the team with him that could effect an arrest of this magnitude.

Just my speculation.

Are they watching this plane for security purposes? We know so many details, is this normal? I think it's be hard to do anything to a plane in the sky, but it is interesting to me that so much is being realized or seen. I guess they aren't worried. MOO

This plane is the most tracked one in the world right now per the site.

If I was really analysing that first stop, I don’t know why BK says they are just going for Thai food when cops stopped him. Just say you’re travelling home to PA for the holidays? His dad tried to clarify they had come from WSU, and BK again tried to say something about Thai food. He didn’t wanna give anything away and was very evasive imo

I don’t know. Just weird. Maybe I’m looking too deep into it

Scranton, Pa to Moscow, Id is 2060 miles, as the crow flies. At an average speed of bout 230mph, flight would be just under 9 hours. Take a fuel refill into account, and perhaps not taking the most direct route always, due to weather, maybe about a 10 hour flight seems about right. JMO
