No disrespect to your opinion but not at all this is a student that was pissed

You must have some solid information to be able to speak to this so definitively. I'd suggest a call to LE instead of wasting your time here, because they don't even know that this is just an angry student.

Everything is going round in circles . We have to wait
The poor families .., it must be excruciating for them

I’m so glad that it’s not as nuts in here as the Facebook group. I had to mute that stuff cuz people in there are losing their marbles

I am seriously curious what John Douglas would have to say about the Unsub

I can't speak for the original poster but one thing that crossed my mind which I've seen in other cases, the FBI is brought in when a case crosses state lines or when something internally is off. JMO
I believe that local law enforcement can request the help of state and federal agencies if the crime is too large for the local law enforcement to handle on their own, especially if there is an ongoing threat to public safety.

I think they are treading carefully so the local suspect doesn't do something irrational to themselves or those around him. If they tip off too much he may snap again or flee. JMO, MOO of course
I've got the feeling that this weekend was the calm before another storm... perhaps it's just all the students returning and being on edge, perhaps it's the students returning and the suspect being on edge.

It's only 14 days and the shock must be horrendous.

I fully agree. When I’m drunk I can sleep through a lot, and I'm normally a very light sleeper. When I was a teenager, I was unwell and couldn’t sleep and it was the middle of the night. I was listening to music through my earphones and had just been changing songs so my eyes hadn’t accustomed to the pitch black darkness of my room. I felt someone grab my arm and my body went into total panic, in that second I started shaking, my heart felt like it dropped and I let out a noise which I can only describe as a horse neighing. I lit my phone up and it turned out to be my mum checking on me thank god but I was so surprised at my bodies reaction and the noise I made. I wouldn’t be surprised if there wasn’t much noise made by the victims during the attacks, if they woke they were probably in total shock
When I was in college, I could sleep through anything, especially if I had a little to drink.

is there any statement from the survivors in the house?

People also aren't hearing when they're alcohol impaired. Maddie was staggering in the Grub Truck video, and then she and Kaylee got silly and repeat called J a total of 10 times. Or they got worried about the dog and called 10 times. Either way, at 3 AM with a significant amount of alcohol on board they're going to be deep asleep very soon.
People sometimes sleep with fans on to drown out any other noise in the house. With that many people in one house it could be something some of them did. Or they might watch netflix/youtube/tiktok on the phone to fall asleep to like my partner does.

some allude here that they were so drunk that they could not notice anything and make noise...

...but half an hour - an hour after they returned home k.g. called her ex-boyfriend several times from her cell phone and from her friend's cell phone.

At 1:56 a.m., a neighbor’s surveillance camera showed Ms. Mogen and Ms. Goncalves returning to the house, Ms. Goncalves’s older sister said.

Between 2:26 and 2:52 a.m., phone logs show that seven unanswered phone calls were placed from Ms. Goncalves’s phone to a friend, according to her older sister, Alivea Goncalves. Several calls to the same friend were also placed using Ms. Mogen’s phone, the police said.

I was berated when i brought up how intoxicated i thought they were and i was "victim blaming. Scoffs, i guess you have to black out drunk to get refused in a licensed premises for some.

Maybe they dog was running round doing zoomies and they wanted to call J?

But yes alcohol will play a big part in how someone will sleep but also some people could have a train drive through their room and not wake up. I'm a light sleeper so i wouldn't know...

Some people fall asleep when they're drunk, don't go out unconscious easily.

Something I noticed and it probably doesn't mean a thing, but E's obituary does not mention X at all. Usually, a girlfriend that someone is serious about, or living with would be mentioned?

My understanding is that the families have been advised against sharing confidential information with the press or public.

These girls would be very vulnerable and grieving and have a right to privacy and protection and I feel LE is also protecting them.
I can't imagine what they're going through.

I was thinking the exact same thing!
