This is the best take I’ve seen yet on who the 5 men were that went into the house for a little bit earlier today. Ashleigh Banfield had former homicide detective Fil Waters on talking about that clip. He said that to him they look like field agents. They likely were new to town/on the case and took an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the house/crime scene in person before starting their work.

I saw that! Did you see Brian Entin drive and walk the route to and away from the house? (His car got stuck) Creepy place at night. Big parking lot behind house too. Could’ve parked there if he drove.Jmo

I’m so so so behind in this thread due to the million activities my kids participate in but I too thought grayish! Lol. Damn news photography!!!
Yeah it was silver.

That’s why they like to go with CAM captures.

We’ve had red, black, white, and silver in the last three pages.
Exactly, the only car with new plates is the silver suv. And the red truck looks like a Jeep, thanks :)

Why make that assertion though. and it isn't 'distant association" it is general acquaintance of which they have hundreds and hundreds.
Most murder are people who know each other, but often only very distantly. There could be an unbalanced person who was thoroughly obsessed yet at the level of general acquaintance eg shared a class two years before, been among hundreds at a fraternity party, etc etc.
We have every bit of evidence that the victims were highly social college kids. the cops would not yet have been able to interview all their friends and acquaintances yet.
Tenuous connections to victims, as well as dubious, difficult to identify motives, have been on my mind a lot lately.

I keep thinking about Todd Kohlhepp and his first murders, which was the shootings of four employees at motorcycle store because he had gone back into the store a few months after purchasing a motorcycle from them, and in his words, they "might have been a little rude" about the interaction. The way Kohlhepp describes his motive for the mass murder is really weird, very flippant, as if he is basically admitting it was a pretty insignificant reason to slaughter four people.

Or the Napa double homicide where two women were knifed to death in the middle of the night. It turned out to be the surviving roommates fiance who was feeling scared and jealous about her friendship with her roommates potentially encroaching on their relationship.

Weird random connections and motives that are anything but obvious when you're trying to figure out who and why gruesome murders happen. Wondering if this case will be one of those...

AFAIK The police have stated this is not the white car they are looking for in the bodycam footage. Totally different vehicles

I KNEW IT! I stated earlier that I thought this was a police car (but my post was deleted).

Thank you so much for sharing this!

So now, I'm back to Where did the white car come from that police are wanting info on? How did it appear on their radar?

But K's Range Rover was red, not black, and it looked nothing like a luxury SUV.

Maybe I'm missing something(?). I'm trying to catch up here and may have skipped over another piece of info. If that's the case, I apologize.
The red vehicle on the left is a Jeep.
The SUV in the center between the two sedans is the Range Rover.

Police have not said, but things changed after police requested public security footage.

It is not fact. My guess is police have security camera footage of the vehicle.

A normal middle aged adult might not think twice about getting tracked by their phone but todays youth would know they are being tracked and surely would not bring it.

Are you calling me abnormal because I, an older individual, might think about being tracked by my phone? :p

For the record, people of all age groups often don't think/know that they are being tracked. It isn't a matter of age, but a matter of awareness.

As believed by many, I too believe this was a planned attack. Someone of any age capable of planning such an attack would be fully aware of phone tracking.

A parent needs POA for a 13 year old? Aren’t parents automatically POA of their minor children? And once a child turns 18, who’s to say they will agree to that? I know it’s probably not relevant to this case, but college students are considered kids when convenient and adults when it’s not.

No longer applies at colleges. wikipedia covers it pretty well, but you can google.

BBM. Police tip(s).

'Tips and leads have led investigators to look for additional information about a vehicle being in the immediate area of the King Street residence during the early morning hours of November 13th...'

So here is everything within 3 hours of Moscow:

Next question, who is connected to these places? Start with which of the victims and then family and friends.
I saw several lake pictures taken at cote Arlene (not sure I spelled that right). Lots of guys in those pictures. I believe it was one of the girls instagram accounts.

I did some math... not sure it means anything but it's another little data point. Only 14.7% of U of I students are not Idaho residents.

From the back it definitely looked silver to me, but when you see it from the front it's white.

Edited to add: I'm back to thinking a dull silver lol
Thank You!

I do not remember calling you anything lol. What I said was" a middle aged man MIGHT NOT think twice about being tracked" My reasoning has to due with how people of different ages are raised. I did not grow up with a cell phone in my pocket that my parents could track me with, I lied and told them i was sleeping over a friends lol . Youth of today was raised on cell and tracking ..and how to get around it.

For eXample : I could ask you to do some common core math and you might wonder wtf im talking about ..where as youth of today would solve the problem...then again..you probably know right lol ?

And you’d be right.

Eyewitnesses are notorious for being off.

We just had an exercise where the Range Rover was called five different colors, and they know it’s not a 2014, which had subtle changes.

It’s reasonable to go off their language, which didn’t say light colored, which is often the case.

We are talking 3:00-5:00 ish in the morning, some said foggy - in a college town where drinking is common, and we are talking about a common shaped sedan.

eyewitness accounts are notoriously bad
