I had to step away around thread 30. The threads move so fast and when there's nothing new, it's a lot of beating the same dead horses over and over. It was starting to stress me out
. Sorry this is long!
With that being said, just jumping back on to share a couple of new thoughts I've had. Regarding the white car, I feel like that information should have been put out a lot more quickly. When Mickey Shunick (search websleuths) disappeared near me, the surveillance video of her riding her bike and a white truck seen behind her, cracked the case. Not right away, but everyone being so hyper aware of the white truck is the reason that an employee at a car dealership reported to the police when Brandon Scott Lavergne came in to buy a truck. He had cuts on his arms and had altered his drivers license to hide his sex offender designation. Meanwhile, BSL had already driven from Louisiana to texas, burned his truck, and reported it stolen. All this to say, that white car could be long gone by now.
Second thing, regarding the police urging people to come forward with videos and images and they aren't interested in getting anyone in trouble for anything illegal they may have been doing...that's all fine and good, but what about the university? With Sigma and the sorority Xana and Maddie (plus 2 survivors) being on probation (never been in a sorority so honestly asking), would the members be hesitant to come forward with pictures and videos that may show them breaking Greek rules? Things that could get the chapters in trouble with the university? Just wondering if it would be helpful for the university to come out and say they will not pursue disciplinary action for anything brought to light by submissions to the police in this case.
And finally - the video/audio that came out today here you see the girls were clearly with HG willingly, I hope that goes to show everyone here how important the rules are here when it comes to sleuthing people not named by police as a suspect. So many innocent people have been doxed and harassed - everyone connected to these kids have experienced a trauma that will be hard to overcome at their age. The internet has added to their trauma in a way that can't be taken back.
