I perhaps should not have, either.
I believe you have approximately 45 minutes to hit “ edit “ on your post and change it to initial (or delete ) if you wish.
Just fyi ;)

<modsnip> I think everyone is way over thinking it. This was a crime of passion focused on 1 target but the others were collateral damage. I think the perp was very close to the victim and snapped…..and that’s all I’m going to say about that.
Yes. Very close to the victim.

that would mean she got 40K new followers on IG? that doesn't make sense but maybe.

editing to add that Maddie's IG was at around 6k last time I checked. for kg's to increase 40k while Maddie's didn't, that's what doesn't make sense to me. also, tik Tok was double almost from iG. so I'm not saying you're wrong. I'm saying that doesn't make sense to me, and I'd need to see the numbers to make sense of it.
Maddie’s IG following has increased by roughly 41K. It’s a phenomenon that can occur after such high profile crimes.

I’ve watched the full footage from the camera along Main just south of Corner Club, and also the footage at the GrubTruck.
The difference in M’s inebriation is noticeable, IMO.

Is she not more intoxicated in her walking and standing at the GrubTruck as compared to her smoother walk down the street?
I of course don’t know if that is true or if it even means anything. Maybe she took a shot as she walked out the door and It is hitting at the GrubTruck?

do you mean full footage as in the clip from Brian Entin?

It would be great if the car was a rental. You would have a paper trail to track it down. Can't be that many rented. But I highly doubt any rental companies have cars that old..
Hyrecar might or other similar car share services.

I think they were there but did not want to fess up because they were afraid. I also assume the lease was under Maddys name.
Yes, evading the police. I suppose there was some underage drinking in there. I see nothing abnormal about this, typical college party. Remember, kids start college at 18, so the potential that there is underage drinking is high.

“We are confident that the occupant or occupants of that vehicle have information that is critical to this investigation.”

How can they make that statement about a car that drove by five weeks ago?

A man hunt for a possible witness?

It’s because they see the Car doing something near the house. And not the Taylor Ave clip.

MOO
Imo, LE is spending a lot of man hours for this to be just a witness.

Or rage. IMO Perhaps the four roommates were unintentionally complicit in something and I dont mean crime. What if all four of them knew something about a student, a previous roommate, a business or a neighbor and it was accidentally revealed. And what if whatever was revealed led to a tremendous loss, somebody got fired, someone was arrested, someone got expelled, somebody cheated, someone got kicked out of school or lost their scholarship, someone got in trouble, someone’s heart was broken, somebody was shamefully embarrassed or humiliated, someone was extremely disrespected in some way or lost their status or reputation. There was a serious loss of some type and this was the resultant consequence. I’m not victim blaming, I am just trying to make sense of the sequence of events that night that might have set someone over the edge.
I agree. I know the dad said that Adam the bartender was not involved but clearly Maddie told him something that night of significance so I’d want to know who all of Adam’s contacts were. The timing of that information (corner club) to when the crime occurred is within 4 hrs. That is enough time for this info to get spread around a small group and enrage someone.

Exactly. And if I were a roommate in the house and awoke to silence - especially after calling out their names or trying to open a door…and came upon a scene which looked frightening and alarming…I’d think the person responsible may still be INSIDE OF THE HOME. Apparently none of them “cleared” the home before calling support (friends) to come over and try to wake the sleeping or unconscious roomates? Did they see any blood? Did they actually find them much EARLIER in the morning - but wait to call the police out of fear? Did they think drugs or fentanyl was involved? Did they suspect an intruder? The whole thing seems so shady and sketchy. JMOHO
No, no, and no.

Why does this theory persist? If any of those were true, the roommates would not have "believed one of the second-floor victims had passed out and was not waking up."

I cannot imagine a single scenario where the roommates saw the victims' bodies and mistakenly concluded that they were passed out.

Yes I’m pretty sure the girl who answered the door on the Sept 1 disturbing the peace call to 911 was one of the survivors.
We don’t know where Maddie was, she could have been upstairs or at the neighbor’s house or at her bf home, or out of town.
What is interesting is they deferred to her, because of her age most likely. If K had moved out, Madee was the oldest and the only one of the roommates that was legal to drink.

What strikes me most concerning the noise complaint is that now these same uncooperative partiers and acquaintances are dependent on the same LE to help confirm their lack of involvement in a gruesome murder.
I hope they've learned a lesson from this turn around and will have more respect for LE personnel that stays with them for the rest of their lives.

White Elantra is LE trying to come up with something after almost 5 weeks of no arrests.
To me, the car in the video is a Nissan Sentra, not a Hyundai Elantra. Imagine the embarrassment of Moscow police if they find out that it actually was a Nissan.

Of course, but we won’t get to hear that one.
It sounds like three different voices, and they get louder as they move closer to the camera/mic
They are a block to the west of hwy 95 so that is the road noise.
It doesn’t seem related to the events that followed, they aren’t upset. It does show the guy was someone they were comfortable with, he walked with them from the Corner Club.

JMO
Ahhh for us to hear! Yes that would be a good idea!

Can't shake off gut feeling about "friends" being called before police-somebody help me understand the best explanation so far. Contaminate crime scene for?
As an adult it also blows my mind. But I remember in college someone would drink too much and instead of calling emergency responders, people tried to deal with it alone. Mainly to prevent the person from getting into trouble by their parents. In my experience, this included, people who were passed out from alcohol.

Agreed. This theory continues to grow legs!

Does anyone remember the Meredith Kercher murder in Italy years ago? Her roommate came home after spending the night at her boyfriend's to find Meredith's door locked and no one responding when roommate Amanda Knox knocked. So, what did she do? Called her boyfriend over, of course. (Sound familiar???) BF arrived and ended up kicking the door down and they found Meredith's body - she had been stabbed to death.

We don't know exactly what happened in the case of the 4 college students or what transpired with the roommates prior to the 911 call, but I would imagine a scenario such as the one I described above might have happened.

I’ve seen the footage in other places, clips and this longer version is from NewsNation
Madee is walking pretty smoothly, she is not staggering like she is later. Is she?

At the GrubTruck she is staggering, and swaying while standing still

I agree the Troy Rd video looks more like a Sentra than anything else. I also think LE is certain the vehicle they are looking for is an Elantra and have evidence to back that up that they are not sharing. That leads me to conclude the Troy Rd white compact is not relevant.
