He kinda looks like Ben Stiller and Sam Harris

His pencilneck is weird…. IMO makes him look like he has no muscles, which seems to be def not the case
He reminds me of Dennis from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

They owe the police an apology, along with HG, Maddie's boyfriend, Kaylee's boyfriend, the two random frat kids, a professor and about everyone in a fifty mile radius of Moscow.
Someone was even still suggesting it was one of the boyfriends this morning after the new broke (before the name did). SMH.

I cannot keep up. Waiting for the presser.

Am I the only one who feels like this guy probably still thinks he can play head games with investigators, and eventually a jury, and ultimately get away with these murders? All of that criminal justice study and research, he probably thought he could stay one mind screw ahead of LE forever. JMO

IMO When he "saved" that girl's life at his previous job, something about the death part gave him a "good" feeling (bleh) and that may have been the start.

Didn’t the police say they believed the owner of the white Elantra had important details to the case? Pair that with Brian supposedly asking the police if they’ve arrested anyone else makes me a little uneasy..

So he must have been living in fear ever since they announced they were looking for the Hyundai. Nice
but not smart enough to get rid of the car once he (must have known) they were looking for it. So far we don't know re ownership/registration?

Yes, it gives me very criminal minds episode vibes

And early on, we discussed legal ramifications for universities. I said I suspect there will be some civil suits.

So much fear that he kept the car? It's odd that he kept it. It should, logically, be at the bottom of a lake or burnt to a crisp in a forest somewhere. Instead, he drove it to his hometown in PA. Bizarre.
I agree. Maybe he kept it as a 'trophy' of sorts. Everytime he sees it, drives it, etc he's reminded of what he did and that they haven't caught him yet. MOO

Edited for typo

I mean we have no idea what evidence they have beyond the photo of the car at this point.

Oh, yeah, for sure. He'll probably represent himself in court!

Catching up-amazing.

A while back there was discussion of the other two unsolved cases where people were stabbed/killed in their sleep in Salem, Oregon and a small town nearby. Both of these towns are not far from the Vancouver campus of Washington State University. As a doctoral students, it very possible he visits other campuses. I think they’ve connected him all along and have simply been looking for him.

Thankful to LE!

IMO, I believe he thinks he's a lot more intelligent than LE and expected to get away with it.

Such a relief that a suspect is in custody! I wonder when he was identified as a suspect and what helped LE close in on him (the white Elantra, DNA?). The presser will be interesting.
