The Officer said "he lives in Pennsylvania". He has an apartment in Washington state ? Confusing.

Did Kohberger WANT to be caught?

For an individual studying for a doctorate in criminology, Kohberger seems to either have acted out of uncontrollable rage or deliberately made an effort to lead police to him. The crime of breaking into a house occupied by six people in a closely grouped residential area was already risky enough for him, but when LE released the photo of what is apparently his vehicle, the white Hyundai Elantra, Kohberger HAD to have known it was only a matter of time until a SWAT team was breaking down his door and pointing guns at him.

Yet Kohberger simply retreated to his family home and seemingly undertook minimal effort to hide the suspect vehicle (LE apparently found the car right away upon Kohberger's arrest).

Why didn't he run and hide in some obscure location where LE would've had to made a serious effort to find him? Leaving the country was an option too, yet Kohberger choose to stay at a location that would've been the first place LE would've search for him. One could argue that Kohberger was arrogant and overconfident he could successfully elude suspicion, but once LE released information about the suspect vehicle there could be no doubt police were quickly closing in on the suspected killer.

Had this crime been committed by a homeless person with an eighth grade education, one might assume the killer was merely simple-minded and incapable of planning out an complex crime, but someone working toward an advanced graduate degree in the very field of criminology would've normally been much harder to capture.

Yeah I don't know I should be making dinner but I just keep thinking about if anyone in his family thought it was weird that he happened to go to school miles from the crime scene and he happened to drive a white elantra?

I mean imagine a crime occurred near where a family member of yours worked and LE announced they were looking for the car your family member drove. Wouldn't you think it weird? Maybe he told his family he cleared himself already.

That white car of so many peoples posts was the big clue, wow, he thought he was smarter than them all.
A lot of Criminals think they r smarter then the cops and this goes 2 show you I’m happy they got him sooner then later I think this was pretty quick with some cases never being sloved

Media stating he was arrested at his family home. Just started a PhD program in August, so likely a PA resident who has a student apartment in Washington state for his studies.

MOSCOW, Idaho – The father of slain University of Idaho student Kaylee Goncalves told Fox News on Friday that the arrest of a suspect in the killing of his daughter and three other students is the "first sense of joy in seven weeks."

Agreed.
Both the AA and the PC can be revealed.

Does anyone remember one of the female victims thinking she had a stalker ?
Also, in all of the video and photos of the victims before the murders... does BK appear in any of them, even from a distance ?

Glad that sloppy errors were made by the perp.
M00.
I’m new here and just wondering what AA and PC stand for? Thanks in advance.

Which LE would be processing it in Pennsylvania? Also, I wonder how it would be transported back to Idaho?

Whichever department made the arrest. There is really nothing more to handle in Pennsylvania. The Idaho police may have even asked them not to try to get a statement unless he’s eager to talk.

He will either be brought back by commercial airliner or even something like NetJets if Idaho is willing to pay for it.

Hey guys I missed the presser...what all came out?

Between Moscow Idaho 2000 plys miles to Albrightsville Pa, its no telling were the weapon is.
JMO but I think that this weapon gave him so much power that he just couldn't part with it. I think he has hidden it somewhere, and did not throw it away.

Very little incremental information beyond the arrest or what is reported in headline of MSM. Elantra found. Probable cause affidavit cannot be released until suspect appears in Idaho court which may take a bit with extradition. Police answered only a handful of questions with no new info about perp.

I “ guess “ reporter Chanley got a quote from LE outside of the presser we all watched??
I sure didn’t hear this part. JMO
Not questioning her facts though.

I'm questioning her "facts". ;) We don't know it's a 2015. This is one of those "someone said something that may or may not be accurate and everyone runs with it whether right or wrong". JMO.

The research may have been motivated by the rage.

JMO

I do believe many people have some anger even inner rage (road rage for example) but know how to deal with their anger in a more productive healthy manner others do not and obsess letting it simmer and boil over.
One can plan, plot, stalk and have feelings of inner rage.

"It’s pretty out of left field," he said of the news Friday. "I had honestly just pegged him as being super awkward."

[] started the program in August — along with Kohberger, he said — and had several courses with him. He described Kohberger as wanting to appear academic.

"One thing he would always do, almost without fail, was find the most complicated way to explain something," he said. "He had to make sure you knew that he knew it."

Sounds like a narcissist MOO

This was about the car being processed. How would a car be transported? And as far as processing it, would MPD have gone out there? PA State Police? FBI? My guess would be maybe the FBI agents who were working on the case.

Just wondering what typical LE procedure would be in situations like this would be, and we've got some LE experts on here.

Possibly in a cornfield between Idaho and Pennsylvania.
You never know. This arrest makes the story higher profile. Someone who didn't follow the murders before may hear/read the story for the first time. They may remember a white car pulled over somewhere and a male throwing something off a bridge. Or, someone may remember a strange interaction with BK now that everyone can see his face. Someone may have filmed something. That's how they found Gabby Petito.
