FBI report will be released this week right?

  • #522
Did the police give their approval of this documentary?

  • #523
The one good thing that may come from the documentary is that perhaps it will keep Deorr's name fresh in people's minds. It is just so sad that little Deorr has no been found yet :(.

I know. Let's hear the FBI's opinion first.

Did you hear that somewhere? I hope so and I hope it happens. It's been weeks.

Well at least they're still searching. Though it sounds as though it's in more the immediate area of the campsite, yet they don't actually say exactly where so who knows. Missing persons are often found several miles away from where they disappeared, much farther than believed they could have ventured.
Then there's this from the report:
However, Bowerman went on to say he is not ruling out the possibility of abduction by person or animal.

I do kind of wonder why they're just now meeting with the sketch artist. Why wait?

There were reports bears or mountain lions could have been in the camping area at the time DeOrr disappeared, but Bowerman says those animals bury their prey nearby. And his search found nothing.

"We've found not one article that would indicate abduction either by animal or person," said Bowerman.

However, Bowerman went on to say he is not ruling out the possibility of abduction by person or animal.

That's what I'm wondering as well. why wait three months later if in fact they did she someone who they deemed suspicious/creepy.

I have a hunch that this documentary is the David Paulides "Missing 411" film that was funded through Kickstarter and currently being filmed. Paulides discussed the case on a paranormal talk show recently. So putting two and two together, this may be what's going on.

I have a feeling that, based on the sheriff's statement that they can't investigate every staring person, that JM may very well have mentioned it early on but it was brushed off by LE.

.

I still say the boy found wandering outside that motel in California was DeOrr or his identical twin. You could not get any closer match than that. And it was shrugged of because "the mother" finally showed up and took him.

Deorr's family and LE said it was not him.

Like it or not there cannot be multiple explanations. The sheriff said he was ruling nothing out but he found abduction to be the least likely.

DeOrr's location was described as between two adult groups, both of whom were focused on the stream (a stream any animal would likely have cross to get to DeOrr.) In light of that I believe at least one adult would have seen something, at a minimum movement, and an attempted human abduction would not have been missed at all.

http://www.cbsnews.com/news/shredded-clothes-tell-sad-story-10-06-2003/
Authorities said Tuesday they believe a toddler who vanished on a mountain hike 3½ years ago was attacked by an animal, probably a mountain lion.
Three-year-old Jaryd Atadero's clothing was found last Thursday in rugged terrain not far from where he disappeared, said Larimer County Sheriff Jim Alderden.

Jaryd's fleece pullover, tattered pants and shoes were found in the Comanche Peak Wilderness Area west of Fort Collins, several hundred feet above the trail where he disappeared on Oct. 2, 1999. He was on a hiking trip that day with a church group, and had been running ahead.

...Searchers spent six days in the area after Jaryd vanished but found nothing.
It does sound similar to Deorr's case :(

From the same article, published on 10/06/2003, "Forensics expert Jack Swanburg said it's not unusual to find clothes without a body in the wilderness because of scavenger animals."

But it is unusual to find the clothing turned inside out, as Jaryd's pants were. Cougars don't do that.

great so if you are right and this is the david paulaides docu then i can all ready tell you who were looking for . i wont tell you his name but from sightings he/she stands about 9 foot tall coverd in hair smells like a skunk .so that docu is now 100 percent useless.

LOL Yes, that guy. I wouldn't go so far as to say 100% "useless," as it will have interviews with the parents and IR. Maybe there's something there. The Missing 411 news page on Kickstarter didn't have a release date, but I'll be staying tuned for more information.

i personally think it's too early to have this be part of a documentary.

The first thing I thought of after hearing this news was the documentary of Robert Durst. as always - jmoo
