ITA, but one person deciding someone else is a caretaker does not make the other person a caretaker. Both people need to know they are caretakers, at one time or another, in order for there to be miscommunication between caretakers. Otherwise, it's one person assuming their child will be supervised by someone else if necessary, even though someone else doesn't know they are supposed to babysit. If I'm at the park and I see another mom with her kids, my kid playing with hers doesn't make her my son's caretaker. We would have to have a relationship where we each knew we were my son's caretakers, perhaps at different times, in order for me to assume she is the caretaker when I am not. Thinking my child will be fine playing with the other kids for a few minutes does not establish any nearby adult as his caretaker. Miscommunication between caretakers shares the blame between two (or more) responsible adults. I don't see where ggp was ever the adult responsible for DeOrr's well-being, during the camping trip or in the past. JMO

I don't either. I also find it so very strange that whole GGP and Isaac coupling and the strange replys Isaac gave to the reporter at his door.

Seems he was not wanting to add or subtract anything from what GGP was saying to LE.

To me GGP and Isaac are 'Red Herring'.

Why would they be on the mountain searching I'd they believe he was abducted? makes no sense at all to me

I agree, keep in mind the person that posted this has been following the case but is NOT family, we will have to consider just rumor for now.

I read it too. The only thing that came to mind (suddenly) which would make some sense of all this is both CAN be true. Deorr MAY have been abducted and the mountain is the ONLY place to he could be. It would answer most of the questions many have. There seems to be a message the family is "sharing" without coming right out and saying it.

"Over the weekend, Reinwand was repeatedly identified as a sex offender with an extensive criminal history in online forums and on social media. However, police and court documents dispute that assertion. The Idaho State Repository shows Reinwand was charged with felony rape in 2006, but that charge was amended down to misdemeanor domestic battery.

Sheriff’s officials also have told EastIdahoNews.com Reinwand is not a sex offender.

“He does have a criminal record, however the police reports are not consistent with his record (and I’m) not sure why,” Bowerman said in the email.

Bowerman did not elaborate on the inconsistencies."

IR agreed to plead guilty to domestic battery. This meant the prosecution could be sure of a conviction, although for a lesser charge, and didn't have to put on a case. IR didn't have to risk being found guilty of rape. Happens all the time, and I'm not happy about it, but a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush. IR has had an impressive number of his charges dismissed by the prosecution and sealed. I wonder if he is a LE informant.

I have been thinking and wondering about this for several days now.

If something did happen to DeOrr at the campsite what happened to him then?

Everything has been checked and no sign of him anywhere.

Nobody is that smart or that good.

This is true, but DK himself was very confident that the search was very thorough and that DeOrr was definitely not on the mountain. However, that interview was over a month ago, he very well may have changed his mind since then. But if so, one would think that the PI would have mentioned that. The PI made it very clear that they are convinced that DeOrr was abducted and still may be alive.

I got the feeling that they saw he was playing happily so they quietly took off. I am not sure they even told GGP what was going on because they didn't want the baby to make a fuss. And it was possibly a fatal mistake.

Perhaps. What did they expect ggp to do if DW followed after them? If they wanted him to keep him at the campfire, he would need to know that. It sounds like they didn't even tell ggp that they were going to explore.

Right. And if he had been sitting right there with GGP, then he would have had 'first hand' knowledge that the child just disappeared. Which is what GGP reportedly has said. So it seems odd to me that IR distances himself from that answer by saying 'AFAIK. '

Wouldn't he have said 'we were sitting there and the boy was playing with his trucks, then suddenly he vanished.' That is GGP's version of events.

We don't know ggp's version of events. We just know what other family members have said ggp said. I'd really like to know ggp's unfiltered version of events.

What time was this picture number 3 taken of the black flatbed truck, and on what day? Sorry if this has been discussed and I missed it.

With the bear/person/sasquatch? Each photo is titled with the date and time. If it's the one I think you mean, It was July 9th at 12:31 pm.

My good friend's 15 yr old daughter left a note one night saying she was 'hitching to SF to find her father.' She had not seen him or spoken to him since she was 6, and more recently, he was a homeless heroin addict. My friend had to open up a lot of skeletons in her closet to reach out to people to help find her daughter. She saw a lot of people criticizing her when she opened up about her situation. Did that stop her from trying to get info about her girl out to the public? NO...it did not. She could not care less what people thought at the time. All she wanted to do was get the picture and info out there. We sent it to truckers and truck stops and gas stations and rest stops and the CHP. -----WHO CARES if people talked badly about the mom for marrying a junkie when she was 19?

[ her daughter was found safe and sound hiding at her friends house 2weeks later . She never even left Ventura County.]

ITA! I would give my life for any of my children. My reputation vs. chance of finding my child = no contest.

It also makes me wonder if the NCEMC follows up on leads, if other kid's posters have errors on them, and so on. It seems after numerous reports of an error, even if it's not from the parents or LE, the NCMEC would have reached out to their contact (parents, Lemhi LE, etc.) to ask about the reports and make the correction if needed.
Back to my story briefly, when my daughter was spotted by a bus driver and I called the Sheriff to report the sighting. I originally called the NCMEC and asked what to do. They told me to contact the Sheriff immediately. Who...wasted my precious time for 4 1/2 hours.
The numbers on those posters are useless! If parents of loved ones rely on those posters and the Sheriff's department, sit back and wait for a call...I assure you, the call will never come.

Thanks rkf :) I hadn't noticed before, but I can see the driver in the black truck. In photo no. 2 it appears he's starting to get out. In no. 3, it looks to me like he's sitting there in the truck seat with the door open and his legs out. And that unknown someone is walking toward him on the road. I assume toward, because they aren't in the no. 2 photo at all.
I also noticed in the fifth picture (looks like a woman with a sports car), to the left and back in the field towards the mountain, there is a white object that's not in any other pictures.

Wow. Let me get this straight in my head...

a LOCAL woman, who is a REGISTERED SEX OFFENDER, just lost her 75 year old Mother, who was staying with her in Leodore, on June 25th.

the cremains were scattered by a LOCAL WOMAN, AND PUT THE DOGS OFF THE TRAIL FOR FINDING DEOORS SCENT.

the local crematorium is owned/ran by Sheriff Lynn Bowerman and his wife.

They dealt with the RSO funeral/ cremation for her mother and obviously had easy access to cremains.

Sheriff.Lynn Bowerman is possibly a relative of Kunz.

all coincidences?..... Give me a break

I personally don't see the ashes dumping is anything but a coincidence. But just perhaps? it turned into an opportunity to see a little one unattended? And IF this person was there either before, after or during the disappearance of little Deoor then it seems possible she would have more information then is being disclosed about the actual events of the day. I don't know if its possible to find out the cremains dumping event schedule. Any importance to this in relation to little Deoor is of course JMO
