But the family did not say they thought he had been kidnapped until days after he disappeared. There was never any implication in the early days that someone had taken DeOrr. He was simply a missing/lost little boy. JMO
"DeOrr's parents told a reporter from EastIdahoNews.com Monday in Idaho Falls they believe their child was abducted but have faith he's safe. DeOrr's father says he isn't giving up hope."

This was the same article that has the vehicle descriptions given by the aunt.

So it looks at least by Monday the family was thinking abduction.

Eta: I also think Monday is the day the news came out that they were suspending the search - although they never suspended it they just closed it off to official searchers and LE only.

Thank you. This is hilarious: The truck comes without the drivetrain, bed, front bumper, or hood but other than that it is a complete truck. it has power windows and door locks. all the A/C is there except the compressor.

That's why it's a "very rare" truck.

If you keep reading, someone else claims he last saw that truck in Vegas. And the first guy, from Shreveport, LA, says he did buy it in Vegas, "sans wheels and tires."

That's too funny.

It's weird, it looks like a little kid looking out the middle part of the window and to the right of him it looks like a fox, lol. Was this truck at the campground during the search? If so, who would bring a child and a dog/fox along to a search? (or am I hallucinating? :) )
You are seeing reflections and pixels from inside the truck mixing in your brain to make images you can relate to. ;) No fox or child in the photo, imo.

Well if you're hallucinating then so am I.

Well those pixels are hiding part of the back of the passenger seat, which you can see pretty clearly.

Yes, it was at the campground. I thought it might be DK's truck because of the flyers, but maybe not.

Ok...I will go with that. Don't worry, I wasn't headed down the "it's the ghost of Deorr" or "it's a sign from God he was taken by a fox!" route.... but I do think I am spending too much time on this case :)

--now that the P.I. has given the additional "French fries" story, you would think, since it's such a small place, that someone saw the family, and the cute little kid in particular, there that morning.

--staff, other customers, someone should be able to verify that one detail.

I was wondering how long Vilt had known about this possible staring old man and why he hadn't already tried to find witnesses. I thought he would have said so if he had. But then I recalled him saying that he had just found out about it, so I guess he hadn't had a chance to investigate. I wonder if he will let the public know if he does.

Haha I see it too. Looks like a wolf. I just asked my 8 yr old to look at the picture and describe what it is and what he sees. He said it looks like a face in the middle and a dog on the side. I know it's not there but it is weird. Maybe it's a sign.

Yes. Monday is the day they gave their interview. By that time the search had gone on for over two days and included 200 searchers on ATVs, horseback and foot, SAR dogs and divers in the reservoir and creek. At that point, the likelihood of finding DeOrr there had dwindled, as the Sheriff told DK there was "100% chance he was not in the water" and he hadn't been found within the 2 1/2 mile radius. JMO

If the clerk at the store really saw Deorr Sr and Deorr Jr (no mention of Jessica) why hasn't there been any confirmation from the Sheriff or the media saying she saw them there? What would the harm be in having the clerk say 'oh yeah I saw them, they were here and bought the little guy some fries or candy'?

If the clerk has been asked by LE not to answer any questions or give an interview, why? I cannot think of one reason, if she really did see them, to silence the clerk.

So what's the deal?

Did someone really think there was a child and fox/dog in the truck? I thought it was clouds reflecting, but I may lack imagination. ;)

Sasquatch.

Reporter: was anybody camping round you?

DeOrr Sr: that we don't know is...I come to find, I didn't know the area, and I didn't know, I ..there, it's very open but you can't see much ...there's a road that goes up and along the top - we're camped underneath the reservoir, basically right below it, and you can go up above the reservoir, and I didn't even know the road was, did that, I didn't know the road was up there, and as I traveled up there myself, I could've found out [?] I could see everything that was going on at the campsite, but you can't see out - you can't see up, you can't see round and if anyone comes to the bottom of your camp ground you can't even see they are...

>This. There was someone else there. Bet my bottom dollar.
