I'm getting messed up reading about juror numbers. Jury selection was delayed today for other case details. We still have time to get the final 3. Stop me if I'm wrong lol.

My guess is they're fishing for people who would be open to convicting based on circumstantial evidence, with no clear cause of death. Which makes me think they have Tammy in mind. Hers would be the most likely to appear from 'natural causes' rather than outright murder, unless you take into consideration all the circumstantial evidence surrounding her death.

Jmho, and not an expert.
Yeah. Maybe Tammy, or maybe not since the kiddults heard that she was asphyxiated. If, for instance, they found subtle injuries not noticed before exhuming her, perhaps they know. Or maybe not.

Tylee's body was in a condition that made it hard to ID. So her COD might be unclear.

JJ's COD, I imagine, was easier to determine than the others. I'm still holding out hope (unrealistically) that he was taped up post death and didn't suffer/know he was being killed.

Tammy and Tylee? I'm sure they knew what was happening, and I hope they are showing their murderers what it is REALLY like to be haunted. Not that fake graveyard lock picker BS.

MOO.

I would like to voice my opinion regarding Summer S. She has went from laughingly brushing off Lori's antics to being chosen to sit in for her niece, Tylee, as her victim representative. I'm pretty sure you don't get that honor unless you want it. That's pretty profound IMO.
Life isn't black and white. This case has made this glaringly obvious. I can't imagine being in Summer's shoes.

Do you have bank holidays Friday and Monday for easter? Or will there be court tomorrow and Monday too?

Banks are almost universally federal (with FDIC insurance) with the same "banking holidays" mandated in every state. They have no holidays regarding the holy days of Easter weekend.

If LVD and CD get off, it will mean that our system of justice has completely lost it's way. Them, dancing on the beach when they knew Tylee and JJ were buried. Their faces, in the video at the storage facility, true evil.

If nothing else, at least LVD will have to go to Arizona for her charges there.

Lori has always been laughing at inappropriate times. Detachment must be her coping mechanism. She pretends that all is well. Perception is everything. When she and Chad called MG to ask her to lie to police, Lori seemed upbeat but Chad sounded scared.

There is this guy in Ohio who killed 8 people and in all of his many court hearings he would smile. It was so noticeable that MSM commented on it and there are photos all over the internet of him smiling.
He even smiled during his hearing where he pled guilty to the 8 murders and 15 other charges including 4 charges of aggravated burglary - all felony charges.

He turned State's evidence and testified against his brother in his brother's trial last fall.

When he was on the stand his brother's defense attorney asked about his smiling:

He said he wasn’t smiling. "That’s not what it is. Ask anyone that knows me. I smile at the worst time.”

The author said the defendant befriended a collection of longtime inmates when she was first arrested who helped her develop a prison commissary-based makeup suite and routine.

“They taught her how to make, you know, bright red lipstick with Jolly Rancher candy,” Glatt said. “And you can see in the videos of her court appearances this garish red lipstick that she had. And she also did eyeliner from pencils. And this was like surviving behind bars for Lori to look her best, you know when the cameras were on her.”

Do you remember when Nate Eaton did that interview with MG way back where they were sitting outside and MG said that LVD wouldn’t be able to look pretty anymore?
I thought that was such a bizarre thing to say.

Ha, ha! Someone was excused from the jury because of a personal relationship to a court employee.

Working any job in the court house could have perks for singles!

"Hey, dude/dudette, I could get you off jury duty!"

My Mom once borrowed my baby, said she couldn't afford daycare. She took my baby to court with her.

Way back when I was called for jury duty, I didn't get excused although I had dinner at the home of one of the prosecuting attorneys... I chalked it up to "He just wasn't that into me" lol No harm tho... it was mutual.;)

One thing I remember was that it was both weird and authentic. Her emotions and cognition seemed smoked- possibly cult brain. But her distress for her friend's incarceration- that was real. It was one of the few times I 100% believed her reports about how she felt.

It was a strange priority, but I thought she was expressing it truthfully.
