Here’s a link…

In the courtroom and even at the remote view locations, no recording devices of any kind are permitted. Cellphones must be turned off or kept on silent, and laptops can be used during the proceedings as long as their cameras and microphones are disabled.

Right but they can use their cellphones to text, tweet, etc...if they keep them on silent. They can easily post/tweet from their laptop as long as the cameras/mics are disabled.

I think they're fine to report and see no restriction on that link or any other one prior

Just heard Chanley Painter on CourtTV say that Boyce is only giving a 30 minute lunch break during trial

I think I read that court will end daily @ 3:30. I’ll look for a link if I can find it again.

ETA: Found it!
Judge says the goal is to end court every day at 3:30 p.m.
(from April 5)

Sounds odd to me, why on earth finish at 3.30pm during a trial? If this is correct the trial is going to last longer.

I've been watching Tee Stauch, Gannon murder over with Law & Crime on YT. I'm going to watch a day behind so I can keep an ear on LV. It'll be very interesting what she has to say if she takes the stand.

It's a heavy week as another case I was following, Michael Cummins from Sumner County murdered 8 people in April 2019, 6 were family members. Can't watch all 3, so will have to drop one.

5. Charles Vallow and Kay Vallow Woodcock are brother and sister. Since July 25, 2014, that would make Kay Woodcock an aunt to JJ Vallow, and Larry Woodcock has no familial relationship to JJ Vallow. It is understood that Larry Woodcock and Kay Woodcock are divorced.

BBM-I never knew LW and KW are divorced before reading this.
I heard this corrected yesterday that they were married, then divorced and later on remarried.

I always post what I like despite the popularity polls. It's what keeps me "me" ;)

Can't help but wonder if this comment by Larry had any bearing on JB's order, considering all the speculation regarding how he keeps way too much under seal to prevent scrutiny. Did he take it personally?
I also have this thought.

Do you have bank holidays Friday and Monday for easter? Or will there be court tomorrow and Monday too?
The only religious Federal (“bank” in the U.K.) holiday in the U.S. is Christmas.

Yes, I saw the tweet from a reporter someone posted here that clarified their marital status. Thanks for the info though! I was befuddled as was the reporter as I would think a court document would be accurate and was wondering if it was a LVD untruth.

I thought as long as they kept the sound off they can tweet with no audio or video? I'm probably confused.

You are probably right. I'm still in Murdaugh mode.

In other trials I‘ve seen people posting lots of Tweet links & that is great for some here I know. Are there any others who, like me, can’t see the content of the tweets when just a link is posted? If so, for the trial is there a way to copy across the actual tweet content not just the link? If it’s just me that can’t see them then please ignore this :) It only seems to have been a problem since the last IT update, before that the words as well as the link appeared for me.

Also @fred&edna I appreciate you - and everybody else who has kept this thread alive and kicking through all this time. I have been following along & I thank you.

How does this work?

Boyce suggests jurors who have any dangerous hobbies like skydiving, "chain-saw juggling" or other activities might consider giving them up during the trial. Everyone laughs. He asks them to wear their seatbelts.

Also - some times it takes a bit for the tweet to load. You never see it, just the link?

That one works perfectly for me thank you @CSIDreamer. Did you have to do something special there for it to appear?

It’s not a delay thing, only the links load (apart from your one there lol). I’m in Europe so when I come in late to catch up on events at trials, I‘ve just seen pages and pages of links & have no way of knowing which ones to click on or which say the same thing as each other etc.

Thanks for your help

I copied the text after I posted the link.

Ah, I see. I thought the text used to appear automatically with the link previously, because it was always there for me before the update but not since.

Nobody has mentioned the same problem in other trials so maybe it’s just me, in which case nevermind.
