The judge gave her a run down of her diagnoses which, in my uneducated opinion, fit perfectly. Unsure if she believes what’s she’s saying or not but she’s just evil and knows right from wrong.

Living in her delusional state does not mean she didn't know she was breaking laws. She hid her horrific actions. She thinks God et. al. are fine with her actions, but she knew all along LE was not.

I think she was sentenced justly. Just because she believes her NDE and stuff, or, as Boyce put it, just because she is still in the rabbit hole, does not absolve her of responsibility.

But what people seem to miss about/when claiming this rill of nonsense instead shows cunning purposeful sanity on Lori's part, is... IMO, Lori isn't strumming upon any heartstrings or doctrine, that is logical or expected in any way, shape, or form to be believed.

If her goal is to be exonerated, she has to believe she's speaking the truth, because nobody would think "ah yes, this is the way to be exonerated!"

Also, she didn't rush into a psychiatric diagnosis, if I recall correctly... she had to be (pharmaceutically) drugged (and dragged) into the meetings of her "insanity defense".

She didn't embrace it as the answer... she shunned and avoided being judged mentally incompetent for as long as possible.

Cunning ego.

I see that, CA was smaller in stature so that probably helped, I think looking at LVD she looks more like Elf in the movie sitting in a tiny desk... awkward and out of place.

I am sure she will appeal.... but she will be busy with the AZ courts for a bit.

I think you mean she has no chance of winning one.

Doesn't mean she won't drag it out for as long as possible for the suspense.
