JMO but I wish media outlets would stop referring to the burial site as the ‘pet cemetery’. It is so disrespectful. I hear this said on Court TV all the time.

It is the truth though. It was disrespectful and despicable to bury Tylee there at all.

#ChadDaybell has walked into the courthouse for day two of his preliminary hearing. We expect the day to start with the cross examination of his friend Melanie Gibb.

Yes. That is true. Which IMO speaks to the evilness of this crime. Which IMO needs to be spoken out loud. They buried them in Chad Daybell’s pet cemetery. That is how their lives were equated. That is the value JJ and Tylee had in their eyes.
It’s ugly. It’s gross. It is heartbreaking.
But that is what they did. And their evil deeds need to be named for what they are. So that justice will be served.
Sending restful thoughts for all of us. It’s a difficult case.

It was a terrible and tragic crime, the depravity of which haunts and sickens the human mind and soul.

Fortunately these precious children were recovered and will receive proper burials by those who love and honor them. It is good people, like Kay, Larry, and so many others who have been there every step of the way, fighting the good fight for these children and the other victims which gives me hope in humanity. It is this kind of love which will allow good to ultimately win out in the end. One day Tylee, JJ, Tammy, Charles, and all the other victims will see justice meted out on their behalf.

On 11/26/19, Gibb gets called by Daybell to not answer police, then a call from Vallow to use the Frozen 2 excuse. On 12/6 is when police say Gibb contacts them again. Then 12/8 is the phone recording Gibb says she chose to do on her own.

Not sure about the timeline of her contact with Gilbert police but I believe she waited a week to call Rexburg police, who had been trying to reach her.

I believe that many here are saying it is interesting/verification that JJ was killed/buried during the timeframe where he was in his jammies, vs. dressed for the day. (the day where he never was dressed and went to school)

*Preliminary Hearing (Day 2 of 2) (re all charges) (@ 9am MT) – ID – Joshua Jaxon (JJ) Vallow (7) & Tylee Ashlyn Ryan (16) (JJ last seen 9/23/19 & Tylee on 9/8/19, Rexburg; found 6/9/20 buried in Daybell’s yard in Salem, ID) – only for *Chad Guy Daybell (51) arrested & charged (6/9/20) with 2 felony counts of destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence & concealing remains. Plead not guilty. $1M bond.
*Charged (7/1/20) with 2 felony counts of conspiracy to commit concealment, destruction or alteration of evidence. Bond stays at $1M.

7/27/20 Update: DECISION: Judge Eddins rules that Daybell & Vallow’s preliminary hearings in high profile case will be broadcast/live streamed to the public & hearings will be in person. One media outlet for video, One outlet for photo. Rob Wood motion to reconsider is denied. Order: Conflict of Interest: "Sealed hearings were held regarding a potential attorney conflict of interest. The Court listened carefully to the oral arguments and thoroughly reviewed documents submitted by the State and counsel for the Defendant. After exhaustive analysis, the Court finds that any conflict of interest has been adequately waived for the current proceedings. This case can proceed forward with current counsel." It is so Ordered. CourtTV will be broadcast hearing.
8/3/20 Update: They convened to the judge’s chambers for a sidebar meeting requested by Chad's attorney. Judge Faren Eddins asks for opening arguments. Both side declined. State calls Rexburg PD Detective Ray Hermosillo to the witness stand. Hermosillo did a welfare check at Vallow’s townhome on 11/26/19 in regards to JJ Vallow. He says he made contact with Daybell & Vallow’s brother Alex Cox - per the affidavit. He was asked to seize a jeep that was in Lori Vallows possession and he was asked to do intermittent surveillance. He was later asked to do the welfare check on JJ Vallow. Hermosillo says there are no photos discovered of Tylee Ryan after 9/8/19 & no photos found of JJ after 9/22/19. Also no verified sightings of the siblings after those said dates according to Hermosillo.
Exhibit #1 is birth certificate for JJ. His given birth name is Canaan Trahan born May 25, 2012.
Exhibit #2 is adoption certificate for JJ. The adoptive parents being Charles and Lori Vallow.
Exhibit #3 is JJ's revised birth certificate with his adoptive name.
Exhibit #4 is Tylee's birth certificate.
Exhibit #5 is a marriage certificate for Chad Daybell & Lori Vallow in Kauai. Dated November 5, 2019.

Exhibit #8 is a photo of JJ, Tylee and Alex. Obtained from Lori's icloud account. It's the Yellowstone photo taken Sept 8, 2019.

Exhibit #10 is an aerial photo of Chad Daybell's property in Fremont County.
Cross examined by Prior. Next witness RPD Lt. Ron Ball. Going through the collection of the two bodies from the property of Daybell's. Exhibit 11 is being admitted. Prior wants to approach the bench. Judge asks defense & prosecution to go into chambers for quick recess. Exhibit 12 has also been handed to Det. Ball, this is a document also from the ISP forensic services. Exhibit 13 has just been handed to Det. Ball, a document from the ISP forensic services as well. And cross-examined by Prior. Next witness is Rexburg PD Detective David Stubbs. Stubbs is trained in data collection & part of the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children taskforce. Exhibit #14 is the recordings from Det. Stubbs body camera from Nov 26, 2019 welfare check on JJ entered into evidence. Body cam footage played. Woods moves to cell phone records & about GPS tracking. And cross examined. Next Wynn Hill. He is employed with BYU Idaho as Dean Of Students. No info of Tylee being enrolled at BYU. Next Melanie Gibb called to the stand. She is one of the last people to have seen JJ alive, according to court documents. Gibb secretly recorded a phone conversation with Lori & Chad re JJ on 12/8/2019. Phone call is played in court. On Dec. 8, Gibb said she called police in AZ about the conversations (the recorded conversation) she says she had with Chad & Lori on 12/8/19. Done for the day; cross examination in the morning of 8/4/20. From Court site: 7/28/20: Daybell. Subpoena Special Agent Benjamin Dean (FBI) & Subpoena Special Agent Steven Daniels(FBI). 7/29/20: Daybell: Subpoena to Rylene Nowlin & Subpoena to Gary Lyu(FBI).
*Lori Norene Vallow aka Lori Norene Daybell (46/now 47) – Pretrial conference hearing for Madison County on 1/4/21 & trial set for 1/25/21; preliminary hearings for Fremont County on 8/10 & 8/11; guardianship hearing on 9/30.

Everyone that saw through her lies and manipulation where evil in her opinion and I believe that is why CV ended up dead. He was alerting LE to her mental instability and she just couldn't have that so he was taken out in my opinion. I don't see who LE didn't see right away that he was murdered everything about that scene just screams murder to me.

She was smiling and chuckling on the body cam video after Charles had been shot, if that's not a big huge ginormous red flag i don't know what is, its never sat right with me how the police dealt with lori and alex at the scene and there after.

Just had a thought after reading your comment.

This recorded call between MG and LVD CD was supposedly made, I believe, Dec 8 and AxC died on Dec 12. Im now wondering if after this call LVD & CD realized AxC was a risk and had to go.

I mean for LVD to hear MG say that she was told by AxC "You dont want to know where he is and he cannot be found" had to be alarming. Think about it, her brother was casually commenting real clues!!

Appears this could have been their motivation to get rid of AxC????
