I checked and on the stand she was wearing the same light colored skirt that she arrived in. Maybe she regularly carries a backpack instead of a handbag.
Yes, you are correct!!

I just don't understand why they wouldn't want (or be able) to bring forth evidence of Chad's whereabouts during the times in question and instead try relying upon Alex' data in order to try incriminating Chad. Anyone know why this is? Are they trying to keep his data as a secret ace up their sleeves for the trial itself? Might they not have it for some reason? Something else?

Snipped for focus.

Perhaps one reason there was emphasis on Chad's exact position in the driveway was to establish that his home and driveway were in the GPS margin of error. If he had a phone ping at the gravesite, the margin of error could potentially have produced the ping from a swathe of his property, including in his home or driveway, where he had every right to be without being roped into the grave-digging party.

A change of clothing. Pretty sure she was wearing dark trousers (pants) on the stand. Do masks need to be worn outside in the US?

No masks outside. It is suggested if you cannot maintain social distance outside you wear a mask. They were in the clear.

Didn't she say she slept somewhere else? Not at Lori's townhouse? Jmo
No, she said that they stayed the weekend at Lori's townhouse.

I think on Cross he will make sure to point out to MG that she lied..so therefore she is a liar.
Can it be made a big deal at a later point that she did the Interviews?

I totally agree.
The comments on the phone call about Alex and JJ were huge.

*MG gets a nervous call from one of them telling her to lie about where JJ is.

*MG was told by Alx "You dont want to know where he is and he cannot be found"

*And then Lori boldly exclaims on the call to MG that "Lori didn't want anyone to know and didn't even want Alx to know where he is so she could keep him safe"

.........................

Just had a thought after reading your comment.

This recorded call between MG and LVD CD was supposedly made, I believe, Dec 8 and AxC died on Dec 12. Im now wondering if after this call LVD & CD realized AxC was a risk and had to go.

I mean for LVD to hear MG say that she was told by AxC "You dont want to know where he is and he cannot be found" had to be alarming. Think about it, her brother was casually commenting real clues!!

Appears this could have been their motivation to get rid of AxC????
Imo

Will MG face any kind of legal troubles from lying, hindering, or misleading law enforcement in the locating of JJ and Tylee?
I've been pondering this. In the UK, it would be 'obstructing the course of justice', BUT she has made amends by testifying and it could be argued, that without MGs assistance Tylee and JJ would never have been found. Actually, I am wondering whether Mr Prior may try to include MG and DW somehow in JJs death - afterall, by their own admission, they were one of the last people to see him, and supposedly did not hear or see anything amiss that night. Today will be very interesting.

I was wondering about that too but I think that they opted not to charge her with anything in exchange for her testimony I could be wrong but I've seen it happen in other cases and it wouldn't be that unusual here because Lori and Chad are who they really want behind bars.

That's how I think things went too. I think her lack of action was seen as much less harmful than what LV & CD have been accused of. Her testimony is really damaging for the defense. Aside from the recorded call, MG has struck me as very naive and trusting, but I think once the police got involved, she did take a hard look at some interactions and realized in hindsight how weird they were. Watching her in the 3 part interview with Nate Eaton, in my opinion, it looked to me when explaining her experiences with the cult, that at some exact moments, it looked to me like she was realizing ALOT of things as she spoke about them. I do not like the fact that she lied to the investigator, but I can be grateful that once reality hit her, she tried to repent for lying. No one else that we have heard about that has lied (very obviously IMO) come forward to say they were wrong for lying and would like to give truthful testimony. And no, I do not think that the "I was wrong" statement from sister SS counts because that was just her trying to fix her reputation with the public/media/etc. It didn't feel remorseful to me.

This is where the dates may come into play. Mr Prior will want this evidence excluded and I dare say he will try all sorts to exclude it.

I'm pondering ahead to Lori's preliminary hearing. Is it possible still for her to change her mind and waive it? She's getting a preview - via her attorney - what's going down next Monday. Jmo

Mine was so far behind the actual audio that I ended up having to turn it off because it was distracting trying to read previous statements while also listening to the "live" testimony. At one point, it was atleast a full minute past the actual audio.

I have to say that I am so happy that the judge has a YouTube channel because CourtTV was coming thru very choppy both on my tv and on their live feed on the internet.

All JMO.

I believe up to the second before her hearing is scheduled, her attorney can make a motion to waive the preliminary hearing. IMO, he should probably do that, but I am not a lawyer, so take with a grain of salt.

Isn't duct tape rather "noisy", when unrolling it? I wonder where JJ was when he was taped up. I could hear my neighbors, in their garage, using it on some boxes. Not sure if that noise would have caught someone's ear. JMO

In the other apartment.

I’m hoping their thoughts are only on Tammy. You are right that sometimes the children of murderers and abusers stand by them anyway. Hard to understand.

JMO
Yeah we have seen that often and I think I am beginning to understand why it happens.

I think what happens and especially for the children who are minors and still are dependent on the adults in their lives, is they quickly realize there is really nobody else other than the living parent to help support them financially, emotionally, and basically everything.

So even if deep down they suspect their other parent was responsible for their parent's death, they at least temporarily will support the suspected parent out of need.

Denial and dependency are big factors in the beginning.

Even when the tide changes and they finally realize their living parent probably was responsible, the dependency factor is huge for minor children and that alone may make them still be in support of the parent.

Some will still support the guilty parent even after a conviction and realization the living parent was responsible. The "its all I got left" comes into play there.
