Thank you @indicolite22 for posting all of the interview videos. The one thing that stands out to me is that not Lori, Tyler, or Alex can remember what was supposedly being said when all of the yelling was going on with Charles! In my opinion, that’s because Charles wasn’t causing a scene and yelling. It was pre-meditated and they murdered him! MOO
BBM for emphasis .

I 100% agree, @des2021.

I think Charles was ambushed and executed before he was able to say or do much of anything.

A reason murderers "plan ahead" is to put themselves in positions with all the power so the chosen victim can't fight back.

ZP has always been a "wild card" in this drama. I believe that she knew a lot more about what was happening, and wanted no part of it. AC's death was very timely for her.

And what kind of person gets married, and their kids have no idea? That seems odd to me.

In her interview Lori made it seem like she needed Alex's protection for Tylee and not so much for herself. She told police that Charles didn't like Tylee and that he had been aggressive towards Tylee in the past.

I'm wondering if Charles would have escaped on that occasion if he hadn't forgotten his phone in the house? Of course there would have been other attempts on his life.

Interesting thought! Now, I'm wondering if he actually left the house and forgot his phone or did he just set it on the counter and Lori picked it up (initiating the entire argument)? I was in such a hurry to watch the police interviews with others that I skipped right over Alex... did he also tell police that Charles exited the house leaving his phone or was it only Lori? I guess I better watch the Alex interview.

I just watched Zulema interview, without a lawyer. It said Chandler PD. Three detectives present or was one of them her lawyer? I missed the introduction. I was most interested in her interview.

Didn’t care to listen to Lori lying.

I was shocked that when Zulema and Alex got married he bought a tarp to cover their bed to give her a massage. I’m wondering if the plan was for him to kill her and he couldn’t do it?

I always thought maybe she had killed him but now I wonder.

Any thoughts?

NEW: The time period in which JJ was killed regarding the night of 9/22 into the morning 9/23.
  • Around 8:30pm, Lori texted MG (not verbatim): "Hey, I'll be there shortly. JJ woke up and I'm getting him back to bed." MG does not remember this.
  • From 9pm-midnight: MG, DW, and Lori were podcasting in #175 while Alex watched JJ elsewhere.
  • Alex brought JJ back to #175 sometime in the middle of that recording session and then left for the night.
  • After recording, Lori went to her bedroom where JJ was sleeping.
  • DW & MG went to their room where they shared a bed that night.
  • DW woke up from a bad dream.
  • MG texted and called Lori and Chad's cell phones for a blessing for DW. She got no answer. Then she went to Lori's room down the hall, jiggled the doorknob, and thinks she knocked, too. The door was locked.
  • She went back to David.
  • Between 8am-9am, DW and MG and Lori meet in the kitchen. This is when DW asks where JJ is and Lori gives that story of JJ crawling up the cabinets and that Alex had to pick him up.
  • 9:30am: MG and DW leave Rexburg.
  • 9:55am-10:12am: Alex is in Chad's backyard, near the pond where JJ was buried.
  • On the drive home, DW did not express any concern about JJ (according to MG). And MG called Lori three times. She does not remember what the calls were about.

SBM. ZP's lawyer was sitting next to her in the interview. Justin Lum later posted a correction about the detectives interviewing her.

Correction: Zulema is seen here speaking with Idaho authorities at Chandler PD.

Alex Cox, Lori Vallow's brother, interviewed by Chandler Police Department: full video

Note that Alex appears to be wearing a new pair of flip-flops. Did Lori pick those up for him because he stepped in Charles's blood with his other shoes?

You know what, before I watched that interview I think I would have agreed with you. ZP is one of the characters who has been something of an enigma in this whole ordeal which we (or at least I) have had little to no information about. And yet she married Alex and seemed to be closely tied into this whole thing. I've definitely wondered about her story and questioned her motives and involvement.

However, after watching the interview my thoughts on her have shifted quite dramatically. In short I believe she is being honest and forthright with everything she knows, and that she in fact does want to help law enforcement as best she can. To me it seems like she was a rather naïve and gullible person who got swept up and involved with the wrong group of people. And she seems to recognize and acknowledge this. She even admits that she fell in love with Alex and yet questions if she could have been the next one to have been murdered by him or this group. And though I think she definitely could have used better judgement, I don't think she was ever criminally involved with this group, based on what has come out in this interview.

I think her testimony could prove invaluable in this case, and, IMO, is much more credible than MG's. It is my own opinion that MG came across as being dishonest and not forthright because she was too afraid to admit just how deeply she got involved with this group. I did not sense that with ZP - quite the contrary - I felt that she has come to terms with just how much she had been groomed by this group and wanted to do what was right and tell the whole truth even if it did get her in trouble or make her look bad. Yes, there were times during the interview where she seemed to pause and struggle with answering questions, but I don't think it was as you say - that she was lying or trying to hide something - rather, it seemed like she was truly struggling to remember things as best she could so as to tell the complete truth. She would even regularly volunteer more information that what the detectives were asking. This interview gave me a completely different perspective of Zulema and I have come to respect and appreciate her voluntarily coming into the police station to help with the investigation as best she could.

I mean you've got to give her at least some credit for cooperating with a level 6 dark spirit (according to what Chad and Lori apparently told her of the detective questioning her). ZP has likely just become a level 10 dark spirit in Chad and Lori's eyes for that act alone, should they find out!
Agree. With a little work, I think The Prosecution can turn Zulema into a very good witness.

Looking forward to hearing if/how MG's testimony changes between this interview and trial.

I'm not surprised that police looked closer at the shooting of Charles. That woman, was on a high as she entered the interview room. High with elation.

I don't believe a word about her story of her flitting around the room with Charles cell phone either. She sounded like a little kid telling her tale, thinking it was funny.

Separated from Charles it wouldn't have mattered a jot what he'd got on his phone. Messages from a Madame's parlour? he was no longer with Lori.

I know it wasn't Madame's parlour messages lol.

I'm with you on that. It was blatantly obvious that there wasn't a scene going on at all. Charles didn't go there to cause trouble. All pre-meditated and murdered that poor man.

Ahhh yes... she is the only one who tells the tale of the phone so your reasoning that it was a lie makes much more sense!

I believe he's wearing the same sandals. Compare his sandals when the police first arrive on scene (before Lori gets back to the house) as seen at 2:37 of this video:

He's wearing a pair of black sandals with white Puma brand name and logo. And then the video of the police interview at the station he walks into the room wearing what appears to be the very same sandals - 2:02 of this video:

Also note that in the first video, when Lori and Tylee did show up, the officer would not allow them to approach Alex and asked them to go stand by their (actually Charles') vehicle. They kept Alex isolated until they took him back to the station (second video) for the interview, so Lori wouldn't have had time to give him another pair of sandals to wear. MOO.

Just watched the Zulema interview. Wow!
Shes definitely hiding or lying about certain things. It seems like she doesn’t tell the whole truth until she knows she is caught lying. Then she tries to overcompensate and says random things. I have no idea why they would have given her immunity. She’s not reliable. I think no matter who the jury is, they will see right thru her. But I don’t think she will hurt the prosecutions case. She will just make it stronger because the jury will see what a bunch of lying, conniving people this group was. And a few things she says about Chad and Lori show that they knew what they were doing was wrong and they were not mentally ill. All murders in this case were thought out and pre-meditated MOO
I think the immunity is for Alex's death. She knows things. Maybe they figure she is the weakest link that will flip on the others.

'Cult mom' Lori Vallow is filmed LAUGHING and SMILING with cops hours after husband was murdered | Daily Mail Online

'I don't like him and that's just how it is': 'Cult mom' Lori Vallow CHUCKLES during police interview about her murdered fourth husband

Video released Wednesday shows Lori being interviewed by detectives in 2019 after Charles Vallow's death.

"He's always mad at me and he doesn't want a divorce, but I don't like him and that's just how it is. So we're married for 14 years, and I've dealt with it for 14 years," Lori told investigators.

The newly-released evidence about Charles Vallow's shooting death includes photos, police body-cam video, and video of Tylee Ryan seen crying before being interviewed by a detective.

Lori Vallow is seen laughing and smiling as she's being interviewed by police hours after her former husband, Charles Vallow, was shot dead in her home

She describes hearing her step-father argue with her mother and Alexander Cox, who was her uncle.

Tylee Ryan is seen tearing up and calming herself down before she speaks with detectives just hours after her step-father was killed

"Honestly, it feels, it feels like 2 seconds, and 40 minutes at the same time... I just kind of heard yelling over everything. I don't know, I kind of just do that when everything is, like, really loud, I kind of just tune what people are saying out," Tylee Ryan told detectives.

Video of police interviewing Cox was also released. Cox told police he shot Charles Vallow in self-defense. Cox died of natural causes in December 2019 before any charges could be filed. Lori Vallow was later charged in Charles Vallow's murder, accused of conspiring with Cox in the killing.

Charles actually emailed Tammy on June 29 about Chad and Lori's affair.

CHARLES VALLOW CONTACTS DAYBELLS: Via Charles Vallow's cell phone records, Chandler police learned that he emailed Chad Daybell AND Tammy Daybell separately.

This all stems from the fictitious email police say Lori Vallow sent to Chad pretending to be Charles asking him to ghostwrite a book for him. On 6/29/19, Charles told Chad he knew of dance videos Lori had sent to Chad. Charles had also contacted Tammy, saying he had "disturbing" evidence regarding her husband and his wife.
