I'm surprised by the lack of discussion by experts in regards to the situation after she didn't waive her right. Only Lori Hellis really touched on it and it was her opinion that CD would be moved to Oct. Given the history of this case, I'm beyond surprised that experts are not weighing in on the legalities and procedures in this complex situation. Even SR who breaks down every CD/LV issue hasn't really said anything

Chad's attorney wants (and has been granted) more time.
LV wants a speedy trial.
The prosecution wants the cases linked.

All three can't happen. Something's got to give.

Today would be Tammy's 52nd birthday. We look back on her life and celebrate a woman who touched everyone she met. She was a force of goodness, glowing when she smiled. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and mother. She had a heart of charity and a life dedicated to caring for those she loved.
Here at #TDDF we often talk about Tammy's love of books, her work as a librarian, and her menagerie of super cute pets. But did you know that Tammy was THRILLED to share her birthday with Star Wars Day? She was a huge fan!

Prosecution must fight for a linked trial. Otherwise, their funding is limited and one defendant will go free. Are they willing to return Chad to his community a free man?

There's a motion hearing for the state wanting LV moved to the same as CD. I don't see them successfully arguing against her constitutional right to a speedy trial because it's expensive or inconvenient. My money was on CD getting moved up to October (when JP wanted it to start). Lori Hellis I believe said this is what she thought would happen. Every day that passes though seems less likely. I can't believe there isn't more discussion about this as it's a huge deal.
