I was assuming this given her competent status

*eyeroll*

Not at you, the judge.

Just finished part 2. These were the things that stood out to me:

- CD had started sitting away from Tammy at church before her death

- Sheila (CD's mother) told Heather that Emma (CD's daughter) had told her that Tammy had pink foam coming out of her mouth at her death

- CD told Garth (CD's son) that he had "dark spirits" and the only way to get rid of them was by moving with them to Rexburg

- Heather believes that CD's defense will be that he was framed

- "CD was not excommunicated before the bodies were found"

- Heather believes that CD may have approached Tammy about polygamy
I have said before (maybe more than once!) how unhappy and worried Tammy must have been before her death. And now we hear that Chad was even distancing himself from her in church :(. I'm not a member of that church, but surely patriarchy, being head of the family, is a pretty big thing in it? It must have been very obvious to the whole congregation. And at least some of the Daybell "kids" must have been there I would think, and those who were not would have heard about it from the others. But they still support Chad. Unbelievable. So on top of everything else, poor Tammy was probably also sad/heartbroken about her children's lack of support.

I feel the lawyers and judge are playing games to keep this trial off in the future.
I agree and I don’t know if I’ll live long enough to see these 2 go to trial.

Well at least they’re going to trial together. Chad must be shaking at the thought. I think he is OVER Lori and wants to frame the whole mess on her and Alex.
I hope no one forgets he gave Alex a “blessing” over the phone before Alex killed himself. Or um, “died” at such a convenient time.

I’m sure Chad is telepathically contacting his goddess wife…. “Quickly Lori, you must pretend to be insane again!!!” I’d be willing to bet she’s tried manipulating mental health doctors into thinking she’s insane… thankfully they saw through her games….

I'm still of a mind that Lori is/was game playing.

im going to go back and relisten to Heather Daybell. She suffered badly when Chad said he was thinking of moving to Rexburg, and suffer she did when he got there.
I definitely recommend listening to all 3, the first one starts around 2014/15.

"What are your orders, Master?" "OK, I'll get right on to it."

Scott Reisch on the latest JB's decision to deny severance:

SR thinks a joint trial "is going to be a mess", partly due to JP's intent to present evidence of Lori's prior bad acts. If it's about evidence for which she hasn't been convicted yet, it wouldn't be admissible in Lori's case.

I was just going to post this. Scott Reisch has been very critical of the judge's decisions in this case. He believes the cases should be severed.

I'm inclined to agree with him. IANAL but I think Scott Reisch is quite knowledgeable about court proceedings, etc. I guess we will find out. MOO of course.

PS Plus Chad having apparently (this via Heather D) suggested polygamy to her. I'm not surprised that Tammy's coworker noticed that she wasn't her usual self, I'm surprised that Tammy managed to get to work at all and try to carry on as normal. How I wish that she had just up and left! But of course it's not so easy. And especially when you've been controlled by someone for so long. :(

ican imagine how upset she must have been over his treatment of her. Sitting away from her for all to see, everyone could see this taking place. <modsnip>

Little Miss is competent.

COMPETENT: A judge has determined that Lori Vallow is once again competent and fit to proceed with trial. The stay on her case is lifted and trial will be rescheduled.

DING DONG THE WITCH IS RESTORED!

MOO

I can't remember - did Chad express any grief at Tammy's death?

I think he was more relieved that Tammy was happy to complete her mission the other side of the veil, and he could move on, to the second chapter in his life, IIRC.

I dont think he did because he lied and told folk she was ill. He had been saying that Tammy was going to die young, he had 'seen' this in a vision.

Pig. It's all about him, isn't it.

Not the sort of person you'd want to say that to you. :(
