I want to say Tammy and Chad had separate passwords for their separate accounts, but given how little I check Facebook I could be totally wrong. I can only think of one relative who shares their account with their SO, and they're as much a Daybell as me.

If there's anyone that can identify our masked gunman, I'd love to know who. Given the scenario, I don't know if anyone could though.

1. I wasn't calling anything on Websleuths into question, simply noting that other places around the web people have gotten very off topic. Everyone's been very helpful here and I understand why digging isn't always directly related to the missing kids. I have no concerns regarding this.

2. Chad told his kids he got married, which lead to them telling us. That's my only source right now. According to some chat logs I found out about their marriage November 23rd, and found out this case existed December 21st. It's sounded like in both instances I heard about things a couple days after my extended family did.

I so VERY much admire you, Larry and Kay for speaking out as to this entire case. It starts with the children and encompasses so much more. If it wasn't for you all speaking out and causing such *drama* (respectfully said) to the media, along with the child who has been on Youtube, it wouldn't perhaps have gotten the traction in the media that it has had. KUDOS to you. You guys have done it right as to getting the media and BIG media on this case. Keep on keeping on and keeping it in the media to find the two children #1, and #2, solving all the issues/cases associated with such.

I'm sure I can say that many at WS are very admiring as to how you, Kay and Larry are keeping this in the media.

It is what she believes or what she needs others to believe, rather than what is true, that is important.

And she could claim that Kay (the grandmother/aunt of JJ) had been threatening to try and get custody and even with nothing filed, those inclined to believe probably would. Even with the law giving much more preference to Lori as the legal adoptive mother, she could make claims and even point to key (at least IMO) calling the Rexburg PD on her and claim she tried to stir things up to make Lori appear to be a negligent mother. I can see her convincing some fairly easily of that. I've almost convinced myself there might be something there and I'm not at all in her corner by default. :)

MOO, but the custody claim, whether any truth there or not seems like an extremely easy sale for those most likely to help her.

Maybe Alex’s death and whatever led to Tammy’s death being deemed suspicious put some fire under LE’s feet.

I’m also still wondering about how Tammy’s death ended up being deemed suspicious. Chicken or egg question...was there something inherently suspicious about her death...otherwise good health, Chad not wanting an autopsy, potential life insurance payout? (Life insurance company could have opened an investigation...) Or was it the missing children situation that prompted the suspicion? Tangled web!

I'm going to go with quick remarriage and life insurance policy. MOO.

Based on Tylee's SM timeline going quiet in 2016 and her potentially pulling away from a close friend - it does seem to mesh with the timeline for Lori's change (as reported by the Woodcocks). Tylee is not reported to be rebellious and had a close relationship with her mom. Knowing that Melani (Lori's niece) willingly got on board with whatever Lori was selling (be it a cult, a end times movement or whatever) - I am hopeful that Tylee is alive and in a state where she believes whatever Lori and Chad are telling her.

Well, the attorney for Chad and Lori pretty much sums it up - that they believe there is some action in play to take the children away from Lori and/or the investigations into the various deaths could result in charges and a conviction that would take Lori from them. I believe rather strongly that Lori does not want either child with Vallow or Ryan family members.

There have been a handful of cases involving missing Mormon children here at WS that involved either an actual custody dispute - especially loss of custody - or the potential of loss of custody and in every one I worked on there was at least several (up to more than two dozen) people that helped to hide the children from the courts, law enforcement, CPS, etc.

Lori has managed to get through more than two decades with children and not harm them so I do not believe that harm would suddenly manifest itself. It is entirely possible but I don't believe it to be the case here.
But the timing doesn't make sense to be concerned about the investigations, does it?Why did she hide them in September, while she presumably lived in Rexburg openly? Why didn't she just go into hiding with them? TD (nor AC) hadn't died yet, and Chandler police had pretty much ruled CVs death a result of self defense. She had to have known there would be even more scrutiny on her coming soon, which means she knew others would die (premeditation). So anyone helping her, is guilty of obstruction of justice. Moo.

The quick remarriage is very interesting. Either these two didn’t understand the optics, or they simply didn’t care.

I think it’s the latter.

I didn't want to link or embed the videos of Tylee since she is with a friend in the videos. They seemed to be having lots of fun, but that was in February 2016. Seeing video of Tylee rather than just still photos was helpful though. Her personality really came through.

The missing posters describe Tylee as blonde, but these videos seem to show her as a brunette... I guess both JJ and Tylee may have different hairstyles / color, especially since Lori was a hairdresser at some point.

Yeah. Currently a hairdresser or no, she could have changed everyone's hair color. It isn't rocket science. Good point you brought up. JMO

I'm going to have to search around later for the threads. This could be really helpful "history". Unless you just happen to have thread links?

Based on Kay Woodcock’s statement on Gray Hughes Youtube, Charles changed his life insurance policy to no longer benefit Lori, he was paying Lori’s families cell phone bills (21 lines). I am assuming after Charles died, Lori’s money dried up. Alex reportedly had quit is job before Charles was killed. I think they (Alex and Lori) needed to move on to their next victim because they were out of money. MOO

Well I think they are in love. Apparently Lori became obsessed with Chad's books some years ago. So to her he is a celebrity.

UPDATE: Just got off the phone with Fremont County Sheriff Len Humphries in Idaho. I’m told we should expect a new press release from Rexburg Police with an update on the search for JJ and Tylee. I’m told there’s new detail on their mother Lori allegedly being untruthful on their whereabouts and continuing to not cooperate in the investigation.

I’ve also confirmed with Humphries that the Daybells called 911 on 10/9, ten days before family members found Tammy Daybell dead. She yelled for her husband Chad to help when she said she saw someone in a mask point a paintball gun at her. Her death is being called suspicious.

I am so confused about these threads and how some I can reply to and others I can't....?? And where this post will show up. But in regard to my daughter doing the interviews, she only did them because she kept getting asked to. She wanted to simply say publicly that she loves Lori and Tylee, and share how awesome they are. I will share that she can't process any of this. She only knows what I've told her because she is not following this story in the news or elsewhere. She doesn't like to talk about it at all or speculate. I can't talk about it around her anymore because she shuts down. In her mind, the kids must be fine, wherever they are, because they are with Lori. And eventually everything will be resolved. She comes off as a bit unconcerned and that is why. But she isn't going to do any more interviews or talk about it publicly again, she felt nervous and uncomfortable the whole time. I do have a question, does anyone know where Alex was when he died, ...Arizona?

Take care of your daughter and lead her through this. I'm sure you are now understanding more here.
. MOO

Do we know if Chad showed up when Tammy yelled for him? I looked up the photos of paintball guns, some of them look quite realistic. Could it have been a real gun and not a paintball gun?

Maybe. We don't know anything about how frequently Vallow family members were trying to contact Joshua after last contact with them in August. We don't know what was being said in contacts between Lori and Vallow family members, if any. It is entirely possible that Lori was convinced that some action was about to commence involving Joshua and she hid the kids to get ahead of that. This is especially likely because of Lori having taken off for a month or three leaving the kids behind prior to Charles' death.

The move to Rexburg itself was likely due in part to making it more difficult for any attempt for visitation rights to Joshua (would have to come to Idaho and file for that) in addition to being closer to Chad.

We haven't been given any indication that the death of Charles was being re-investigated at or around the time that the children were last seen. If it turns out that a re-investigation started prior to September 23rd I might change my mind.

Speaking of minors, I have never quite grasped the rules on using initials and just "monkey see, monkey do" on threads. With all the new posters, can someone with a grasp of it give us a reminder?

The ones involving minors are deleted per WS policy so you won't find them.

In an active case involving a minor, if the name is changed to initials it always means that some form of sexual abuse occurred. As for other initials, those are for people named or quoted in MSM stories but are not to be sleuthed and otherwise have nothing to do with the case.
