I had seen the case prior but not the detail. In order to get the detail you must fill out a form and request it as far as I can tell. Can you help me replicate your path?

Supposedly Lori and Charles had been fighting in a custody dispute for years with JR, even to the extent of Lori making up lies that JR sexually abused Tylee in order to get him to back off wanting visitation.
JR did get visitation, and Tylee was able to re-establish a relationship with him in more recent years.

I’m actually amazed that the Woodcocks (or other of JJ’s biological family in Lake Charles) didn’t try to get custody of JJ after CV was shot. I think they should file immediately for an emergency order of temporary guardianship, which would allow an amber alert etc. to go out and maybe kidnapping charges?

it also seems like Lori (and niece Melani) really didn’t want to parent anymore - both women disappeared and others were caring for their children - so it doesn’t seem like Lori would even care about a custody battle - she didn’t want the kids. Melani didn’t even show up to contest her custody issues. But was prowling around BB’s parents house a week later?

with some of these women its not even wanting custody of kids, its control.

Only other reason I can think of would be extreme fear. If she is, in fact, saying all of these crazy things then she's probably not thinking straight by any means.

If you're thinking she's afraid of/being menaced or overcrowed in the secret Idaho bunker by Chad, I'm not exactly sure how that works, considering that again according to the now-deceased Charles Vallow's court petitions in connection with the JJ custody fight; she was already claiming to Charles way before marrying (if not before meeting, the date of which is still in question) Chad; that she (Lori) was in fact a god.

That doesn't really sound like a cowed follower to me; more like a woman who thinks she's HBIC, holds the reins, and directs and orders people.

Now, if CHAD had been running around telling people that Lori thinks she's a divinity if/when she is in fact saying nothing of the kind; then that, IMO, could add some credence to the fact that Lori is Chad's puppet/slave/whatever; because one could then see and understand Chad setting Lori up as a scapegoat, etc. - i.e., if he eventually intended upon pulling the rug out from under Lori and discrediting her to people in their offshoot community so that Chad in fact would be HBIC.

I'm not sure there is a scenario in which LV is the puppet of Chad that I would buy based upon the facts we know; though I welcome alternate theories.

They didn't have time for that. LE knocked on their door, they sent LE on a wild goose chase to Az and immediately scarpered without taking JJ's toys. That was 6 weeks ago.

I think the idea is that they got it from somewhere (Mexico or some other way) in advance and kept it handy for in case something like this came up. I could see, for example, Lori making a run to the border and getting several months worth of medicine before moving to Idaho, if they were preparing for something that far in advance. It seems possible I suppose. Unlikely, but possible.

So this is a different date than our 9/23 timeline that JJ was pulled from school? Maybe 9/23 doesn't have any particular significance?

I have no relation to the case whatsoever. I am also not a law student. I'm just a person looking to discuss and see other points of view. I meant no harm just simply posing questions. Sorry I'll stop posting now.

Sorry you apparently took offense, but I didn't mention you or any specific member in my post. I was speaking generally about what I have observed happen in the course of following many cases here. I've been on WS for about 4 years and I've seen many people who are related to the suspects post here. It's too bad you have no connection to the case because I would suggest you become a Verified Insider following the directions here: Verification Process for Professional or Insider Posters
Verified Insiders on WS are allowed to give their opinions based on their knowledge of the case players and we are not allowed to argue with them. But since you are not an insider, this doesn't apply to you.

You should feel free to post whatever opposing viewpoints you have here in a respectful manner. But just so you know WS members are very good at arguing logically based on the facts. And If you take a position defending suspects/persons of interest you will have very many replies disagreeing. We try to be a victim-friendly forum. The victims in this case are JJ and Tylee. The friends and family members of JJ and Tylee who are experiencing their loss and/or worried about them are also considered victims under the rules here. The persons of interest are Chad and Lori as the police have called them POIs and police have also said that Lori knows where the kids are. Anyone seen as defending Chad and Lori or posting as if Chad and Lori are the victims will have a great many arguments here. Similarly, anyone who criticizes a victim or a victim's family member, may see their posts removed by the forum moderators for not being victim friendly. If having arguments is your goal, then you will probably continue to post and that's your prerogative.

I notice that some people (not singling you out in particular) like to be so cavalier about obtaining hypothetical Class A prescription drugs under the counter; and I've really never understood that contention, considering how many people I talk to are hoarding 6-year-old-kidney-stone post-surgical Oxycontin for emergencies and telling me how hard it is to get said prescription. Which leads me to say: I live in NYC and I wouldn't have any idea where to get hard drugs, never mind getting a year's worth of advance on my prescription. I remember trying to get Ecstasy for a blowout my last year (week) of college, and even the known pot dealers couldn't help me so... where are all these people getting putative advances on prescriptions for Class A drugs?
