I am FINALLY watching the Dateline. My heart is breaking for all the people who are worried about J.J. and Tylee. And the people who are heart by Chad and Lori's actions. Knowing people are in pain is one thing - seeing them burst into tears on your living room screen because they are so hurt and suffering - is another. Curse this couple!!! Tylee and J.J. seem so full of life!!! I want this over already!

If Chad and Lori have known each other since 2018... Is it really possible he did not know she had children from that date to November 2019, which is more than a year? Chad knew J Mow and Melanie G and they both knew she had children. No one told him? He was too infatuated with Lori to question any of this?? No way! Imo. Could he possibly be charged with aiding and abetting in the abandonment of her children... Even though the children were not biologically nor legally his own??

There is no way he did not know... just cannot ever believe that. I would think that their initial connections could have ended up commiserating about their own sense of baggage (husband/kids for Lori, wife for Chad)... and they lived in a fantasy writing their personal novel to get "freedom".

I LOVE talking to the new missionaries. Apparently I’m on their list to call when they take over from the last missionaries. I invite them for a 2hr Bible study and then don’t hear back until the next set of missionaries come to town. That saddens me, though because I really enjoy studying the Bible and sharing what I’ve learned. They must not have time in their schedule to come back. So I start over with the next set.

These are apparently court documents relating to custody of the Boudreaux children. Melani initially ran off and didn't care for custody or to even show up to that hearing, but NOW she's fighting for custody of them, and that can be ongoing AFTER the divorce is final. The divorce would have to have been final BEFORE the end of November when Melani legally remarried to someone else in Vegas. It speaks to Melani's possible knowledge of crimes and likely is being used to say she's not a good candidate for custody because she's tied up with this and because Brandon believes she knows where JJ and Tylee are and isn't talking.

Ahh. That explains it. I did not know that Melani had changed her mind, and is now, after the divorce and custody was already finalized in October, fighting for custody.

My first post was also in response to an initial written post re: the video which mentioned only divorce documents, not custody documents. Certainly MB could not have been fighting to overturn her divorce.

I mean how many times did he step past those kids toys with JJ's initials on them and also wheel kids bikes and a scooter into storage? He also initially said he didn't know Lori very well or have her phone number, despite having been married to her and living with her for three weeks. They are being incredibly thick and stupid in there dealings with LE - misleading and sending them on wild goose chases across state lines.

Hopefully MB can be listed as a person of interest by LE soon. She’s desperate for some serious sleuthing.

I had mentioned, a few threads back, of talk (from a friend) of “type 3” fundamentalists traveling to Rexburg, leaving behind kids and spouses and doing other “weird stuff” in their homes. “Money for the cult” in this new document adds to my suspicion that there is something larger than just LV and CD happening in this area. If this rings a bell, if you know someone tangled up in this, by All means, call LE and leave a tip! You won’t be getting innocent, well-meaning people into trouble, but if you can help with the investigation of Tylee and JJ, and maybe other vulnerable children, call in. See something, say something. Mooooo

Add to that .. Chad called MG and asked her to lie about having JJ with her... he can't possibly do that if he doesn't know JJ exists. Chad's a liar. Lori's a liar. When two liars who have mental issues (obviously) get together, it's like 2 addicts feeding off one another. I listened to someone commenting about the case who mentioned the concept that both of them removed their voices of reason in their lives and instead they wanted to be together to feed each other's fantasies. This is a theory I find remarkably credible given what we've seen and suspect. MOO

I knew about the kids through Alex and he aways spoke about them with such love, but I don't personally know Tylee or JJ.

Didn’t CD ask Melanie to lie about having the kids? Even if he didn’t know where they were he knew she didn’t have them at the very least or he wouldn’t have needed to call her about it.

The only thing is- myself having gone through the process of setting my children for death benefits when their dad died- was done over the phone. All that they requested was a death certificate- I didn’t have to provide any docs for the kids, just bank info. I was stunned at how easy the process was. Anyhow, if memory serves- the day those items were seized was a Sunday and they were staying at that resort for a night (presumably while their rental was being viewed) Still odd to me that those were carried around.

SSI benefits processing. Establishing/faking proof of death, somehow. As a legal document I am sure there are things she could do to benefit herself with those docs.

As an aside, and I realize the parents of Lori are not allowed to be sleuthed, but there were some differing opinions about whether or not her mother is dead based on Ancestry. I also thought she had died but don't believe so now. Just to clear up that little niggly item LOL.

Definitely alive. Data on Ancestry was merged but incorrect data, that was transported to more than one family tree. (One tree is actually set up by JCC...so it is valid showing, 6 kids, three dead)
