If they have the doorbell footage from that day they most likely have all the footage from after that date too, right? Does anyone have a ring doorbell to comment?

I have similar cameras and distant motion such as at LV’s door won’t necessarily trip the motion sensors. You usually have to be closer to the camera. MOO.

I know others have answered that Lori is fair game. I’m just chiming in to say that if you have info on her that can be linked- news, court case, court records, police blotter, etc, please share. Many of us have spent lots of time trying to find the details on this case that further keeps it in the media in hopes of finding these kids and holding those responsible accountable. Please share if you have info.

I can likely imagine if you accidentally posted something not allowed someone here would notify you in time for you to edit your post and delete a non-allowed comment.

Also providing just a general direction of search tips is useful. Two well known members here have assisted me in this process. If your info is from a law enforcement database that has public access, you can just talk about that database without referencing anyone in particular.

Yes, Chad wrote, said and believes really wacky stuff. But he was married to one woman for 30 years, established in his community, with no trail of dead bodies in his wake (until Tammy). And all his kids are accounted for.

Compared to Lori, who’d been married 4 times before Chad, had two soon to be ex-husbands suspiciously die, remarkably timed when she would still inherit their assets and collect life insurance (or so she thought). One husband documented she she wanted to kill him, she admitted she’d lie that the other was abusive just to win custody. Has a history of bouncing around like a geographic pinball between hither and yon. Then disappeared for months causing her son’s school to contact CPS. Came back in time to raid hubby’s business account before watching him being shot by her brother, then giggled with police and threw a pool party hours later. Texted her stepsons their Dad had died, lied about the cause of death and went ballistic 4 days later after learning she wasn’t getting his life insurance. A couple months later two of her three kids vanished from the face of the earth. What did I miss?

I imagine a deluded person who believes his own wacky stuff would be an easy mark mid-life for a manipulative, beautiful blonde that seemingly fawns on his every word. Eagerly swallowing whatever combination of fabricated “visions” and improbable lies she feeds him.

On some level the truth must be dawning on Chad. But the implications of admitting he’s been duped, even to himself, must be paralyzing. Rationalization might be his psyche’s only defense.

Yes, it’s hard to imagine he would want to believe her despite all evidence. But that believe would be the only thing keeping him from seeing the shambles he’s made of his entire life.

It sounds impossible. But lots of us are holding out hope the kids will be found safe despite only evidence to contrary. And our stakes aren’t nearly as high.

No doubt Chad has a lot to answer for, and I trust he’ll pay in all sorts of ways. At very least he aided/abetted after the fact, lied to LE and ignored all reason. Quite possibly he murdered his wife. Either way, he should pay dearly! But IMO there’s a reasonable chance he got into this mess because he’s the biggest buffoon on the planet.

No.... we have a verified member on this thread that knew Chad and states that he has NOT been excommunicated. Many people have also added that this would not be made public, and the Church would never comment.

I love that they've separated them. It makes me wonder if LE has psychologists/behavioral unit advising them on strategy with this.

And I loved the persistence of the reporters following Chad out of the courtroom and around every turn.

Do they have separate lawyers now? I'm not sure if I missed discussion about this lawyer DeCosta who she informed about her vacation to Maui. Hmmm, did she also inform him about the flight to Mexico that Dateline was told about?

Hi all. I've been lurking on the thread now and then, and following the news on my own, but am nowhere near as knowledgeable about all the details as the rest of you. (Never encountered such a complicated case!)

I don't know if separating them will have the effect LE hopes. This isn't a normal "crime couple" with mainstream behaviors. They hold very strong religious beliefs and resisting "the world" will be something they expect to do and are prepared to do.

I don't see him breaking, but that he will see himself as a spiritual warrior and remain true to whatever their visions are. Fighting and resisting unbelievers is likely part of it - maybe even a necessary process to go through, and therefore even welcomed??

(If anything, I think she would turn on him more than the other way around.)

Mother's knowledge of the whereabouts of her aunt's two missing children and her unwillingness to cooperate with law enforcement in finding those children, is daunting to Father.

Melani moved to Rexburg, to the same complex that Lori and Alex lived in. She obviously would have noticed that kids disappeared. So it's probably common sense that she has to know something.

Brandon has been in hiding now for months, with custody of his children. Melani has attempted to find him and was arrested for trespassing/ domestic violence at his parents’ house in Utah. She at one point offered a $10,000 reward on her now-deleted Facebook account.

I’m so pleased BB has his kids in hiding. This fb post troubles me no ends. She was literally trying to rally whoever was reading to seek out B.B. and the kids. The payment worries me also and there’s potential that she may be offering the same amount (or more) even now. MOO

The way she’s referring to JJ and his lack of supervision breaks my heart. Why didn’t she just drop him off to KW and LW? I couldn’t leave my ASD son playing unsupervised until he was in his teens, we live somewhere pretty safe but you can guarantee they still find danger and are vulnerable. Even to other children/parents who cannot understand them and their needs. I know a adopted child born to addiction with similar needs to JJ and his supervision needs were even more serious than my sons. His mum couldn’t let him play out unsupervised until mid-late teens as he had no concept of danger. It make sure me feel so sad that this was the level of care these kids had. MOO

I have wondered why Colby was exempt from this madness. Lori seemed to send him money when he needed it. He had a decent relationship with Charles. They didn’t seem estranged in the usual sense. Just growing apart as he got older. He lived close enough that Lori stopped by to say goodbye. Maybe he was considered to be one of the 144k to be informed later. I think there is more that we don’t know.

Possibly because he was too old/independent to control with her newer ideas. It’s been reported that they only became more extreme in the last few years. He was already an adult by then. Perhaps she darent trust him with it all out of fear he would blow the whistle on her? Perhaps the money sending was a way to let him think all was still good and keep him quiet? The way he has spoken out about her indicates to me she knew he would. I know full well my kids wouldn’t put up with this, they’re both legally adults and can think for themselves. They’d soon put me right if I started coming out with a lot of what’s been reported that she had said. MOO

BREAKING: New documents filed in AZ about the attempted murder of Brandon Boudreaux. Brandon + his attorney say Alex Cox was the shooter and that his ex-wife Melani has confessed (to her new husband) that she set up the attempt on his life.

If you click on Adam's twitter name you'll see the court documents attached. Doesn't sound like Melani's new husband and her are getting along. Good for him telling!

This has probably been posted but as this is huge I am replying and posting it again. MBP confessed to her new hubby that she conspired with AC to kill Brandon. Has she been arrested yet? So this will have to be another extradition as she is in Idaho and the offence was in Arizona. I know this is not unexpected but it is still mind blowing. And it was for his life insurance again too. It is looking like a cult conspiracy to commit murder now isn't it?

MORE DETAILS: Brandon Boudreaux claims "Melani's new husband has even provided statements to law enforcement that Melani told him shortly after their marriage that she conspired with her uncle to kill Brandon. Nice recap!! I believe that a number of folks now on this forum might not have read a lot of this stuff from many many threads ago... which might make one to believe Chad is more innocent than he was. As I keep asking..."when did they actually meet?. We have different accounts, all of which could be credible... One in my imagination head is that the infatuation with her was just the most classic, typical, forever mid-life crisis male thingy going on. They get closer...they discuss that poor Chad cannot really do anything because he is married for 30 years. And the Great Liar in Chief, Lori, starts to talk to him about..."well there are ways" etc, and then they greatly inflate their religious "callings", "visions" to others... so they can get cover their butts. And voila! Things keep going in their favor... He might have been enticed in the very beginning because, all of a sudden, he thought he was really the Dude, but the plans became entwined as the evil that played out. He was not as much the expert, but he can never be anything but equally guilty.

He and Lori had been divorced for many years as of his death in 2018

I remember a family source claiming on GH's channel that Lori took that money. Not sure how it would have been possible.
