Nate Eaton - Reporter
Just spoke with Melani and Ian Pawlowski via Zoom for 90 minutes. No questions were off limits and they answered everything I asked. We are splitting the interview into three parts (for video processing purposes) and will post it without any edits starting tomorrow.

I’m riveted to find out what they found to spend 90 minutes talking about.

Getting far afield from finding missing kids...but ok, COVID, and JMO. I try to limit my consumption of news on COVID because there is so much conjecture out there. I also am part of a large physician Facebook group, so it is helpful to have frontline reports from different areas of the country and the world. First of all, nobody knew of any human COVID a year ago so symptoms, vulnerability, whether or not natural immunity will be a thing is all being uncovered slowly and as people WORK TOGETHER to share data. It does seem like one presentation, especially in kids is “microemboli” leading to the finding of “COVID toes” , so it wouldn’t just be emboli in the lungs. The cytokine storm is a manifestation of an immune symptom out of control. The decline in pulmonary function is rapid but also progressive. With a PE shortness of breath and chest pain is a sudden event.

I don't believe his PE event was caused by COVID-19. But I have a question about testing since you seem to be knowledgeable (testing Alex, not in general).

Back in December no one would have taken a swab to test him for COVID-19 of course. But they did take blood and other samples. Would those still have been viable to test in say March 2020 when it became clear it was a pandemic? I note there is no mention on the ME's report that he was tested for coronavirus antibodies so I conclude he was not. But do you think that was because there was no reason to test him given they had a logical COD or do you think it was because they could not get samples to test so long after death?

I'm interested in watching the interview. But I view the sudden chattiness of everyone in the family as something orchestrated by their lawyers. I doubt anything new and shocking much less damaging will be revealed.

Nate, if you follow this forum, what I think would be really helpful would be to interview more AVOWers and folks like that so we can get a better sense of their mindset and philosophy.

They’ve got to keep refining that narrative hence the multiple rapid fire interviews. Getting the proverbial ducks and a row to tidy up the spin. Should be interesting.

I’m slow and this case is crazy, but what does YNP on Labor Day and being at KBF at Thanksgiving have to do with each other. I don’t know the locales but one is in Wy right and the other in CA?

What we know is that key figures in this case were in those locations on known dates, and if captured on surveillance (as at West Yellowstone entrance) or if cellphone locations at a particular time or timeframe are known, then LE can use that information to request cell tower dumps at those two locations for specific times or timeframes.

Why do that?

It would be done to identify cellphone numbers in those separate cell tower dumps that appear on BOTH lists. IF those cellphones that appear on both lists belong to known or suspected associates of CD/LVD, you may have identified who CD/LVD hoped to meet without detection. And if you can identify known or suspected associates of CD/LVD that they hoped to meet without detection, you may have found an avenue to locating the children.

Yes! I'm happy that they were willing to open up and speak to Nate Eaton. While I look forward to hearing more from them I'm actually more hoping that others, including Chad's family, will follow their lead and start sharing their stories and what they know. It takes a great deal of courage to step onto the public stage and share your views, and I applaud them for it. Hopefully as people begin to share more we can figure out what's going on, get to the bottom of this and hopefully find those kids! MOO.

There is no doubt this kind of analysis will be very interesting. One thing that can be learned is when there was a change in pattern between Lori's and Tylee's phones. I would expect that their phones were always fairly close once they moved to Idaho because Tylee would not have had friends to hang out with. But I would expect there were times when Lori ran off to #$%^ Chad (oops, I mispelled "meet" oh well too late) that their phones were some distance apart. But once Tylee disappeared and Lori had her phone, they would always be together and this information would be very informative.

One step at a time. I imagine there's a lot of fear and people have been reticent to open up and share the things they know for various reasons. I know @RexburgSleuth had some concerns before he chose to become verified and share the things he knew. I see this as a stepping stone and hopefully as more people open up and share the things they know (whether for or against certain parties) others will find the courage to follow suit. I'm hoping this brings us that much closer to finding out what really happened and where those kids are.

Yes of course but I'm thinking dark room altered voices type interviews!

Generally speaking, what about POIs who later turn out not to be the perpetrators? Even perpetrators can sometimes be victims themselves. IMO it's a legit line of argument. If it goes against facts/logic, then expect it to be challenged.
At the moment Lori is in jail because of her own actions. We do not know if that is because the kids have been harmed or if they have been hidden. Either way is because of her actions therefore how can she not be the perpetrator?

She apparently didn't count on Kay having the password. I've got my daughter on my Prime account. Between her, my son in law, and me nothing is secret lol.
Wouldnt Kay see the credit card bills too if she was the executor?

I think that these guys have all been coached. This interview is so much different than the past interviews that Melani has been in.

The timing that these interviews are coming out are just so curious to me. It comes out just a few days after the judge quashes Lori's chances of reducing her bail. Coincidental? I think not.

Notice how they are manipulating the events. For example, CV was killed for the insurance money. Now they are implying that BB and CV were actually plotting to kill them (plot twist) for insurance.

Then she deflects by calling it a cult/zombie thing, implying that this is just made up. Never mind that there is actual documentation coming to light showing that this is legit.

I wonder if that is what CD has been up to this whole time, coming up with how to present this fictitious narrative to the world to buy into the narrative.

One thing I don't understand is why he had Tylee as a dark spirit in his February report. What determined that for him?

Sorry if this has been covered, I quickly read through the last 7 pages. It was mainly about life insurance and I am the last person to understand that. Which is why I had my lawyer help fill mine out. I know there is an accidental death included. If I was to die accidentally, like a car accident, my life insurance with pay like an extra 60-75%? Would being shot by your brother in law be considered accidental? Or is that not a choice since Arizona has not finished their so called investigation yet and so fat it is said that Charles died because he was "attacking someone". And that brings up another question! Will life insurance still pay out to the beneficiary if he died due to another person "defending" themselves against him?

That was October 2018

He probably met Tylee and saw she wasn't buying his brand. She wasn't a fan of Joe or Charles from what I gather, and I think he was making a long-term prediction, because his 144,000 only involved unquestioning devotees.

Charles was in there as a 3L because he could change sides being a 3, and I think Chad was covering his backside at that stage. He didn't want to be so transparent. IMO

MP: I know the person Alex is, I haven’t seen any evidence and detective Pillar on um Gilbert Police never even called Alex or you know asked him to come in for a visit.
This is what Melani said on CBS.

Detective Ryan Pillar.

He's mentioned here:

Days after her death, Humphries said Fremont police received that call from Detective Pillar. Pillar said Daybell’s death had gotten his attention due to other cases he was investigating.
More light shed on autopsies surrounding Daybells

I'd love an explanation.

Oct 2nd - Brandon's shooting
Oct 19th - Tammy's death
Nov 1st - A Gilbert PD detective begins intermittent surveillance of Lori while investigating the shooting of Brandon
Nov 25th – Rexburg PD is contacted by Gilbert PD after JJ’s grandparents, KW & LW, requested a welfare check
Nov 26th - RPD first talk to Alex and Chad outside Lori’s apt.
Before Dec 11th - requests made for Tammy's exhumation
Dec 12th - Alex died

How do we think a Gilbert, AZ officer (this is not the PI) would do "intermittent" surveillance in ID? Surely he wouldn't fly out every few days? Or drive back and forth. Was this surveillance electronic? Otherwise, it seems he would go to ID and his surveillance would be almost constant. Do they call it intermittent because he slept and used the restroom?

Also, if they were surveiling Lori beginning in November, wouldn't they have known she flew to Kauai the first time? Maybe they said intermittent because they lost track of her?

I wonder what happened to JJ's 4.2L rating? When Lori disappeared in February 2019, she left him behind, but took Tylee (4.1D) with her.
