I'm pretty sure he hasn't been excommunicated. I think that was only reported by the Daily Mail. There was a blog post asking why he hadn't bee ex'ed after JR was ex'ed, and I think they got things messed up. Someone said that Chad was excommunicated on the Rexburg Police Department's FB page, and one of the Daybell children said that wasn't true.

They had an uncle that was a long haul trucker of hazmat materials, so I don't think five miles comes into play. This case is unusual in that they were not reported missing for a much longer time than is usual for missing kids.

I realize that, but I have a child. If they came up missing, my parents would only be asking where wouldnt we start looking?

...They are non-TSA meaning you do not have to go through security or necessarily show ID...But they seem to be using their own names so I don't think this is what happened.

I was responding to the comment about possibly flying Tylee and JJ back in September. They would not need any ID to fly to Hawaii. TSA does not require identification for anyone under 18 for a domestic flight.

LV seems to be using at least 3 names recently, Lori Daybell to get an apartment, Lori Vallow when she got a ticket for using the phone while driving, and Lori Ryan on her drivers license or state ID. Who knows what names she might give to get JJ and Tylee on a plane? And MOO this isn't what happened, I don't think the kids are in Hawaii.

So is Lori getting off on the control if the kids are "safely tucked away from prying eyes" but refusing just the basics, yes they are fine and they are with, so and so. Why go out and about, act like NOTHING is wrong (12 year married husband shot to death, at your house, by your brother, kids missing, brother dead, niece left, niece's husband almost killed, New sweetie's wife died and you married him 3 weeks later....). If those children are gone, she is a certifiable psychopath, if they are safe, she is getting off on being a sociopath. I was listening to a podcast today about Ted Bundy's time in Utah... A ward welcomed him with open arms - for a time. Im sure my hometown Protestant church would have done the same - for a time.

8-2019 colby was told by Lori that she got a new job and they were moving. Didn’t say where.

Lori used Tylee’s account for Venmo. She wasn’t tech savvy.

Colby says two detectives came on 11-27 to his house and he called her (lori) and he said what’s up, she says I got it, I’ll take care of it.

His home in Rexburg? Her home in Rexburg? Her home in Chandler? Her home in Hawaii? His doomsday hideout home? I like your sentiment but I don't see a practical solution unless LE releases more information.

Specifically, where did LV go when she left the school in Rexburg when she unenrolled JJ on Sept 23, 2019? To me the whereabouts of the kids can be narrowed down if we know where she went between Rexburg on Sept 23 with JJ allegedly in the car and whatever she did in the next 3 or 4 days. By Nov 7 she is reported as already living in Hawaii. Do we see anything about her movements between Sept 23, 2019 and Nov 7, 2019?

I’m new here and I am following this story, to the extent that I can keep up. I believe I have read through all the threads and timelines but I probably missed some details. For example, I may have missed it but I don’t recall information regarding AC’s obituary. Also, was his death in the local news?

From their behavior in HI earlier today, I can only conclude that the kids are safe somewhere. Which is good!

If Lori (and/or AC) conspired to murder CV, it certainly appears she got away with it - despite CV saying "if anything happens to me, Lori and Alex did it". I don't think Tylee will ever say any more than she's already said on that one, and Chandler LE have done all they're capable of doing - which is not much. So sadly, I think that one's behind us.

The BB shooting would only lead to a prosecution if they can somehow implicate MB. I think with AC gone, that's unlikely.

You just can't prosecute a dead man. But it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

The only possible crimes left then are the deaths TD and AC. If it turns out TD and AC's deaths were due to natural causes, this whole case against Lori and CD just up and disappears in the Rocky Mountain wind.

If TD and AC's deaths however were not due to natural causes, the common thread I think would almost have to be poison. Where did they get it from, and who gave it to whom? But even this prospect doesnt seen to be bothering the Daybell's in HI. Again, you almost have to conclude that the kids are safe, and that Lori and Chad feel immune from any charges in the TD or AC cases. To me, if the deaths were due to poison, the only way Lori and CD could be acting as non-plussed as they are is if AC committed both crimes almost on his own. Lori and CD clearly think they've got it made, and they just might.

In retrospect, it may have just been a coincidence that Lori and CD left Rexburg on the night of the 26th (perhaps Lori was rushing them out..). They may not have known that night that LE was going to be coming back the next morning with SW's.

It will always remain a mystery to me though as to why Lori lied about the children's whereabouts during the welfare check. The only explanation I can come with is that, perhaps up until the 26th, Chad truly didn't know about the kids (I know, I know, they'd had an affair, yada yada,- but Lori is a master manipulator). And although CD might have been lying when he told "others" or "family" or whoever that he'd been told that Lori had no minor children, maybe he believed her.

If this is all true, then on the 26th, Lori was caught flat footed when cops asked her directly about JJ in Chad's presence. Maybe the only lie Lori could come up with under such circumstances was that JJ was at a friends, a long way away. She could explain it to CD and apologize later. "We got a plane to catch!"

So to me, this whole investigation is kinda dormant until the autopsy results are released re: both TD's and AC's . TD's death is the one that bothers me. Hopefully LE is gathering as much evidence as they can (mssgs, video, finger prints, DNA, witnesses, acquiring poison, etc.) to be ready when autopsy results are made available.

Anyway, I hope this wasn't all for naught, but it coulda been just that. I for one, however, got to confirm something that I knew had been happening in, and to, our country for a very long time. I'm gonna take a few days off.
