Oh, wow. She kept her phone uh? If she kept it, then she intended to use it for something. These poor kids are dead, like really dead.

If she intends for the kids to not be found, keeping the cell makes sense. She doesn't want them to be tracked to the compound where they are living now. Doubtful she allowed anything electronic/trackable accompany them.

I accept that there is much going on behind the scenes that we can't know. This is obviously now a very high profile matter so that everyone involved wants to make damn sure they don't screw up. Matters are complicated by the fact that the Idaho child welfare proceedings are sealed so we don't even know if an application has been made for an order finding Lori in contempt for failing to produce the children per the prior order (I'd be willing to bet a lot of money that application is pending now). My best bet is that law enforcement has extensive surveillance in Hawaii so that there is no big rush to do anything yet. Multiple investigations are proceeding at both State and Federal levels so that it is probable the decision has been made that it is better to continue the investigation for at least awhile before arrest. Keep in mind that the moment of arrest invokes the constitutional right to due process and a speedy trial so many prosecutors and law enforcement agencies prefer taking their own sweet time before starting that clock running (see, e.g., Charlie Adelson). In this case, of course, the safety of the children weighs heavily against taking too much time and I'd be surprised if we don't see either an arrest or some public announcement regarding proceeding on the contempt/extradition to Idaho avenues.

As always, I don't know the legalese but do you think it's likely (if LV is arrested) the judge will rule that she must stay jailed until resolution of the underlying case (proving children are safe)? Would she even be allowed bail in that instance?? TIA!

This could be correct. However, it's also possible a signed "release form" could be required... Depending on private or public property, maybe? I don't know... I'm just guessing about all of it. Or maybe the pictures are gone from public view as they are considered "evidence" by LE.

It wouldn't be public property. I have family that are photogs. They absolutely own even the family pics. They are of professional quality and I always have to show a printing company a signed professional release form.

DEVELOPMENT in the search for #TyleeRyan and #JJ . A source close to the #LoriVallow case tells me Tylee’s phone was found after several phones were recovered in the multi-state investigation. It appears it was with her mother in Hawaii.

Hmmm. "Several phones were recovered" As they used to say, we're cooking with gas now.

Makes me wonder what else was occurring in May, 2018 that Lori invited Cushing out there. What was the purpose? She doesn't seem to do anything without a motive that benefits her. Was Cushing pushing hard for an autopsy at the time or anything like that? So many more questions raised here by this strange visit.

I don't really find the act of this visit that "strange". I think we have all made such trips when something in both our lives does "bond" us, only to find out what a nightmare it ends up to be, and you wish you had never gone. Just seems very simple to me.

I wonder how Fox 10 obtained the wedding photos? If from the photographer... Maybe there was a written legal agreement the pics couldn't be used except for x, y, z... And x, y, z doesn't include news outlets?

Lum posted in comments that he received the photos straight from the photog. He hunted the photog down, asked for permission and was originally given permission. Then the photog came back asking for money and revoked permission. Lum says to watch out for national outlets printing the photos - we'll know how they got them.
