sounds like your MIL was completely taking over instead of just being there to help out!

Yes, and its funny how she wants nothing to do with my daughter now that she is 15.

right,I think they used it to get around without turning on the lights...and they thought nbors might have seen it...so they wiped it off, placed it on the counter...(they wouldn't have put it back in the drawer..they wanted to distance themselves from it).. and said it wasn't theirs.

At first they said that it wasn't theirs, because theirs was darker....but then the interviewer explained that it had been processed for fingerprints, and that the solution lightened it up. I believe that Patsy probably used it to write the note with too. BUT...I believe that they really didn't care if the neighbors saw the light or not, because that fit with their intruder theory. Why would people use a flashlight in their own home...when all they had to do would be to turn on the lights. The only reason that I could think of, would be a power outage.. So, my guess is...they were HOPING that somebody would see that flashlight beam.

Well, even the DR. thought that this was weird..that Burke would draw a family picture, leaving out JB...just days after her murder.

it is...my kids are about the same age apart as BR and JB were...they're very close, and while I realize not all kids are,I'm quite sure one would be completely devastated if their bro/sis was murdered, and terribly frightened as well, esp if it happened in their own home.

yea, everybody knows Patsy wrote Victory b/c it was familiar to her as a religious conotation.ever heard a man sign 'victory'??

yea, well he sure is polite and very feminine, at that...telling them to be well rested,to bring an adequate size attache ...I'm surprised he didn't tell them to be sure to pack a lunch and bring a big enough coat too ! ...yeaaaaaaaaaaaa.......

the whole note is a sore thumb, but that aside...that's just a li'l dig JR threw in,along with that 'use that good southern common sense of yours' line,to point to JM and friends,as the 'SFF' he was trying to frame.

Holdon, this is common sense, plain and simple, and there's NO way in heck I will ever believe that JR and Patsy didn't write that note.NO WAY.Patsy should have just signed it LOVE,PATSY. (co-author JR).It's an insult to my intelligence to try and convince me otherwise. And Jams can yak all she wants, but I'll never be pulled over to the Liar's Club there !
which, btw,I don't read that site,bc there's no truth there, but I sure did see one of her lies per link on FFJ..she said someone here said they had a grandson w/ bpd...ugh....'scuse me...I don't have grandkids, and I did NOT name the person's relation to me that has it,I KNOW I didn't do that. And someone else here said they had a daughter in law with it,now where does that equate grandson to any of us????:liar:
which btw..there does NOT need to be a history of mental illness for it to show up,Patsy appeared to have a lot of BPD tendencies,IMO,and it can be common for ppl with bpd 2,(notice I said TWO) for it to not get severe enough to cause someone to seek treatment until later in life (which is usually done by a relative,as most bpd patients think nothing is wrong w/ them);up to that point the tendencies can be there though, just not full blown. It would behoove her to know WTH she's talking about.
(If I can't say that then pls delete,thx) :)

Way off subject here...but was it YOU that wanted to see the picture of John with a mark on his face?? Its been so long, that I can't remember..one of my good buddies over at FFJ came through for me...

and JR said the nbor saw 'strange lights' in the kitchen around midnite...oh they were strange alright !!! ..not !!
and then he goes on to say a rash of burglaries was committed during that time,well....burglars don't KN,write 3 page RN's,and kill the occupant's child..they get what they want and they GET OUT !!

that begs the stupid question of...if the KN was hiding in the basement, why would he bother to go to the kitchen? why not just go up n get JB and get out of there? oh that's right....he stun gunned her,fed her pineapple, and then killed her 2 hrs later !!! and he left the FL on the counter, even though he would need it to see...then he left...NOT !!

John and Patsy were ...as LA put it...."distant from each other", when the friends and police were there. There was NO communication from them whatsoever....John was in one room, and Patsy in the other....being comforted by her FRIENDS.....not her husband. This ...alone in itself....is strange behavior, from parents that just had their baby girl kidnapped.

From day one to Patsy's dying day, based on video and television performances they continued to participate in, neither she nor John came across as a couple who loved each other. I always thought of the term "marriage of convenience" when I would see them together. Phony, phony, phony, in my opinion.

Her husband is still sticking by her...the FOOL.

IA! I think she'd even said the baby was in a baby carrier right beside their bed when he was taken? And then I think I recall she was a waitress and had a lot of friends and coworkers sticking up for her, saying she would have never intentionally hurt him. It's been awhile back so I don't remember what all was said.I wonder if she had PPD though.

I wonder if Patsy hit him while wearing that cluster ring? any thoughts on how it got there, anyone? JB didn't have his DNA under her nails,so we know she didn't scratch him.

And let's not forget that that mom had NO PRIOR behavior indicating that she would kill her baby.
It does happen.

That flashlight...like the pineapple- things that didn't NEED to be lied about. If the flashlight belonged to the home, it would not be suspicious that the R fingerprints are on it. So the fact that it was wiped and the batteries as well indicate 2 things- the Rs needing to distance themselves from the murder weapon AND/OR JBR's blood was on it.
Same with the pineapple- what was the big deal if her mom gave her a bedtime snack of pineapple? The big deal is this- it fixes a time of death AND shows she was awake after returning home that night. Even this should not matter to innocent parents. So what if she woke up and had a snack? Nothing EXCEPT that because the parents are guilty, and because JBR was very muck awake and alive for at least 2 hours after they returned home (the extent of the pineapple digestion confirms this) they must distance themselves completely from ANY interaction with JBR at all from the time they arrived at their door.

Ames, don't feel bad about your MIL and baby- you were likely dealing with Post-Partum Depression also.
When my own daughter was born 31 years ago, I had the flu and she also had to be in an isolette under lights because of an elevated bilirubin level. So I never got to hold her at all till we went home. My own mother was blind her whole life, and my MIL was not up to helping me, so I did it on my own. In those days there was no "family leave". New fathers did not take time off, as they would have had to use sick days. I remember feeling distant from her at first, and overwhelmed. But even then I knew about post-partum depression so I didn't feel bad about it.

Nope, a burgular is a whole different ballgame, than an intruder/molestor/killer/member of a Foreign Faction. If it was a burgular, then WHY didn't he steal anything?? He took NOTHING at all. And he knew where JB's room was too. IDI's are going to say that he knew where her room was, because he was in the house for HOURS... , so he was probably looking around, and found her room. But, there was no guarantee that she would be sleeping in her own room. Remember, she slept in Burke's room ALOT, just the night before she was sleeping in his room.

Yeah, and about that flashlight...wouldn't it have been easier to just take it with him...for two reasons...to save time...and to be able to see?? Also...I have said this a hundred times already...but, why would an intruder wipe down the batteries? His prints wouldn't have been on those...just the outside of the flashlight. The only reason that I can think of that the batteries were wiped down, is because the same prints on the flashlight were also on the batteries. Now...I guess that the Ramsey's would want us all to believe that the INTRUDER put in the batteries too. So, not only did he know where the flashlight was, he also knew where the batteries were....or maybe...he went out and bought some. Yeah right..

thx so much !!

You're welcome, sorry that it took so long. Although, there were posters that were trying to help, by posting some pictures of John, the one that I was talking about wasn't posted until today.

I have to agree...and look out fast John went out and tried to find someone to replace her. He has been dating Beth Twitty (you probably already knew this)...Natalie Holloway's (the missing teen in Aruba), mom. I keep thinking about his 98 interview, where he is talking about some lady and her husband, that went to their church...that he saw at Pasta's Jay's. He said that the woman was attractive....NOW...if you were being interviewed regarding the death of you daughter...would you say that some other woman, besides your wife, was attractive???

Yep, he was in a little bouncy seat, beside of her bed....(so she said). Yes, she was a waitress, and had alot of friends and customers sticking up for her. One lady said that everytime she went into the restaurant where she worked, she always asked for her table. I SAY...SO THE HECK WHAT!!!! That doesn't mean that she KNEW the woman....or how she treated her baby at home. It makes me so mad, when people that barely even know somebody...or they know them from work...and have no idea what their family life is like....say..." This is such a shock, I would never have thought that they would have done that"....or...."My family and I frequent the restuarant where she works, and she would NEVER EVER hurt her baby". There was marks on the baby's face, and when the jury was deadlocked at the first trial...this one stupid woman said..."I just can't believe that a mother would do this to her own child". SOUND FAMILIAR???

She actually said to me, when my first daughter was born..."Now, when she gets about four or five, none of your relatives will want anything to do with her. They come around her, when she is small...because she is cute and cuddly". And SHE is the one that didn't want anything to do with her after she turned five...not, my side of the family.

and yet while he wore gloves for the RN and FL...he apparently was careless and took them off...thus the palm print on the WC door ! I know that was proven to be Melinda's,but it never fit the scerario anyway. It could have been anyone's,considering all the ppl that went thru that house.

Or because they probably knew that the neighbors saw the flashlight beam, they wanted it to look like an intruder was carrying it around, and wiped it down. We all know that if that flashlight hadn't of been wiped down, the only prints on it would be the Ramseys...and yeah, they could say that its because it belonged to them. But, then what if the neighbors saw strange lights coming from the kitchen (which they did say that they saw strange lights)....and only the Ramsey's prints were on the flashlight....then there goes their intruder theory. Invesigator: "Mr. Ramsey, your neighbors have stated that they saw strange lights..like a flashlight...in your kitchen the night that JB was killed, but only YOUR prints were found on the flashlight....can you explain that?" John: "Well, er, ummmm, uhhhhhh, hmmmmm, you will have to ask Patsy, maybe she can explain it".

I think that you are right....I am sure that I DID have PPD. I wasn't like that with my 2nd child...thank goodness.
