Today I saw Anna Paquin being interviewed on that new mid-day show with Michael Strahan and Sarah Hanes. She is starring in a new show about female PR "fixers." I predict this exact fiasco will be a storyline if the show reaches a season 2! (No clue if it will make it past season 1, which I assume has already wrapped up filming).

Jussie is providing so much good fodder for....Ray Donovan, L&O SVU, Scandal......

I get you aren't excusing anything, but there are plenty of high profile crimes committed by little people that get massive national attention. These people do not get the white glove treatment. It's just wrong and makes me think if this didn't get national attention the CPD would have swept it under the rug.

I get that nobody wants another OJ situation; but it's flabbergasting to me that they can't, I dunno, just go out and pick him up at his home or something...? A couple years ago I was on jury duty, when we "lost" a juror (drunk-out after the Yankee game) just as we were about to start jury deliberations; the judge sent courthouse police out to the inconsiderate slacker's home that morning to roust him out of bed and escort him in the cruiser. This strikes me like the same thing - Jussie is slowing the progress of justice even further than he has already. Hiding out somewhere isn't going to make the charge go away!

You know, in this case, from what I have seen and heard, black folk are not going to be Jussie's friends here. Especially since he set up 2 other black folk. That is bad juju for a Chicago jury. So, let's say they want a change of venue...Skokie? A jury full of Jewish folk? Who hate, loathe, and despise anyone who plays a victim game. Okay, new place, North shore, bunch of rich white folks, no, definitely not Jussie's friends. North shore is more Republican.
