Okay, who else watched it? I did. It wasn't exactly like JS and Chicago, I was waiting for "Mathis" to say he was going to get a sandwich when he got out of the limousine.

I guess that the writers couldn't do it "exactly" like JS. That would have been too hilarious. SVU is supposed to be serious.

That being said, I am waiting for the JS situation to be made into a series or movie. I can just see the Osundario Brothers, played by themselves, of course, this could be their big Hollywood break. JS, can't be played by himself, so, I vote for "Ru-Paul".

I watched it too. I thought it was a well done episode but very sympathetic. Major differences are that the predator actually existed in the SVU scenario and you could kind of see why someone would fake it so that he could be caught.

I thought Ice-T was kind of giving Jussie more credit than I think he deserves when he was telling the character that he had obviously done this because he'd been hurt in similar ways or something like that.

Jussie is the gift that keeps giving. I don't think that JS has a bottomless purse to keep funding his celebrity attorneys. He seemed to spend money as fast as he made it when he was on "Empire". He is definitely no Bill Cosby, he doesn't have the endless money stream. And it doesn't seem that moving to California has helped his career.

Can’t win for losing? Media immediately rushed to judgment. If LE hadn’t furiously investigated this high profile, alleged political hate crime the backlash would have been astronomical.

Ironically enough LE then faced backlash for investigating the case too thoroughly.

Yeah, ahem, didn't JS as good as say this during his word vomit towards Gayle King, "strongly implying", shall we say, that if he had been a heterosexual white man, the police would have been turning themselves inside out to solve the crime?? Did he not already prejudge the city of Chicago as guaranteed to do nothing?

This really merits review, because it actually sets precedent for other faux terrorism cases.

Considering the severity of what JS did/did not do, this is taking a heck of a long time to be resolved.
