Kimm Foxx's behavior completely undermined the work of the Chicago PD. It was disgraceful for an officer of the court.

She can't even admit that she approved that statement a week ago where she tried to make it seem all of this was political.

She'd be much better owning up saying she obviously made a mistake in this situation but given it was non-violent it seemed best to let it go or something along those lines trying to pretend people are out to get you rather than owning up to a mistake doesn't sit well

"Smollett could most probably save himself money and possible jail time by just admitting his guilt and asking for forgiveness," Fuhrman told Fox News. "But he won't."

JUSSIE SMOLLETT JUDGE ORDERS GOOGLE TO TURN OVER 1 YEAR'S WORTH OF DATA

The warrants, filed last month (December 2019) in Cook County Circuit Court, will give investigators access to Smollett's and his manager's texts, emails, photos, location data, drafted and deleted messages, any files in their Google Drive cloud storage services, Google Voice texts, calls and contacts, as well as their search and web browsing history, dated between November 2018 and November 2019, according to reports by the Chicago Tribune.

Prosecutor opts out
The county's top prosecutor, Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx, recused herself from the investigation, according to a spokeswoman from her office.
"Out of an abundance of caution, the decision to recuse herself was made to address potential questions of impartiality based upon familiarity with potential witnesses in the case," the spokeswoman, Tandra Simonton, said.

Judge Michael Toomin ruled June 21, 2019, that Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx should have requested a special prosecutor when she decided to recuse herself from Smollett’s case in February 2019.

Jussie Smollett arrives in criminal court in Chicago to face new charges

Smollett arrived in a dark SUV Monday with an entourage that included his lawyer, Tina Glandian. As they walked silently up the courthouse steps, several cameramen tripped as they backed up, creating a small pileup. Smollett did not respond to questions shouted by reporters as he made his way into court.

Smollett sat ramrod-straight in the gallery next to his supporters during a recess, including his sister Jurnee Smollett-Bell.

Across the packed courtroom gallery sat brothers Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo, key prosecution witnesses who told police Smollett paid them to stage the attack. The defense has, in turn, accused them of actually beating Smollett and then lying to police about what happened. It was not immediately cleared why the men were there to watch the court proceedings.
