I am not sure if JS was "moved" out of anywhere. More like the phrase Mental/ Psych ward was removed. Just my two cents. Seems the family was a bit sensitive where those words were used. I could be wrong, though...

I cannot even imagine him being 'moved' to Gen Pop.
But, I bet the family will say he has been moved to the spa treatment area....you know...where other high profile cons go, when they are in Cook County...

Video by Jocqui Smollett at the link provides that he visited JS Monday night who was previously in unit with a restraint bed and brother says he's now been moved to a cell with a regular bed.

Regardless, we know JS was ordered placed in protective custody while serving his 5-month sentence since this was requested by JS and his legal team. Also, Division 8 and/or the Residential Treatment Unit (RTU) could very well be one of several areas CCDOC uses to house inmates under a protection order.

He’s worried that someone other than himself will really put a noose on him. It’s ok if he does it though; he knows when to stop, grab a sandwich and call the police.

Whether he is happy about it or not, he is in the safest place he could be as you note in the BBM. Personally I think his courtroom theatrics are because in his inflated ego he thinks he is reviled to the level that Jeffrey Epstein was and is worried that he will end up dead with blame being placed on suicide.

But the MHU is the appropriate place to keep a high profile prisoner who can't be thrust into genpop. As you say, he will be much more closely monitored meaning he is overall more secure.

Seriously an inflated ego! I doubt many outside out of the US know who he is. He’s crazy if he thinks he has even 1% notoriety that Epstein did/still does. Followed up with saying he needs to get out of jail because it’s not healthy for him. Is he playing dumb with not knowing that jail isn’t the healthiest place to be no matter who you are?!

I think we will see suits being filed on his behalf. He’s not going to go away quietly without trying to be famous and vindicated.

Oh...now bringing up Emmett Till, Central Park rape...apparently, they have filed an appeal to have the conviction set aside, a new trial. Fifth amendment rights violated.

"Cross racial false accusers."

Trying to figure out the logic here.

Of note, my husband stated that Jussie Smollett definitely cannot file an appeal based on "incompetent defense". He was quite impressed with how vehemently Ms. Walker was defending Jussie Smollett.

I wonder how much his attorney bill has been running...

Oh and he wanted a raise and the producers of Empire to bend over backwards for his highness after they received the threat letter he also masterminded. But the threat letter didn't get the response he wanted so he upped the ante.
