Wow five-part documentary!

Right. No wonder he is filing now. Timing is everything. I love it when there is a documentary or dramatization on a case from a thread I follow. Will put this on my watch list. Should be interesting.

Oh good grief!
Normally this would be way too late to file a brief. I am assuming he actually filed the Notice of Appeal last year, and after extensions, his attorneys are just now filing the appellate brief.

So I just did some checking, yes, he filed the appeal right after the conviction. His attorneys obtained 5 extensions to file the brief. That in itself is just egregious! Far from being discriminated against, he has seemingly been extended every courtesy along the way of this case.

I further looked up the local news on line, grabbed this link. I have bolded and copied the last line of the article Says it all to me.

IMO, Jussie hired the Osundairo Brothers who then played their part in the supposed 'hate crime'.
The 'crime' was then thoroughly investigated by the Chicago Police, and determined that Jussie Smolett had both planned and participated in the crime.

IMO, the evidence is pretty clear.
