I can only see six youtube videos and none from 2018? Can someone point me in the right direction?

Trailers use propane gas usually for everything. Heat, cooking, water heater. Probably set the fire close to the gas intake by the trailer. Woosh.
IMHE mobile homes might have propane, but could also be on natural gas/electric mix or all-electric. While it is described as an "explosion" by the mom, we have all seen studs & stucco/brick houses that have truly exploded... yet this mobile home is still partially intact. lots of questions ;)
Kyle went to school, right? Doyouknow if this happened on a weekend or weekday?
April 6, 2019 was a Saturday.

That mobile home does not look like what remains when there is a natural gas or propane explosion. Sturdier studs & stucco/brick homes are reduced to piles of rubble when either gas explodes.

At first they didn't all show up for me either. Then it said 'download all' option and I clicked, then a bunch more came up.

Is it cold enough there to have a furnace on already?
How do we know it was on? Even when it's not heating, it usually has a pilot light on.

Per step-father's relative, the boy was jealous of the younger siblings. Wasn't also the best behaved child either.

"For instance, she says, he sometimes treated his mother badly, even biting her. This happened even after the couple moved out with the boy and eventually had two children together. The cause, she says, sometimes seemed to be jealousy, after the births of his half siblings."

Would any fire set within the house or outside cause an explosion ?
Because I can't see this kid setting a large fire with, say -- an old mattress and a can of fuel -- someone would notice that.
Curious.

Never having lived in a trailer , I wouldn't know if an explosion would level it; but it'd seem likely as the construction can be flimsy, correct ?
I'm wondering if the boy sprayed lighter fluid into the furnace somewhere ?
Is there actually access to the furnace that a child would understand, as in --where the pilot light is located ?
A vent or opening ?

And if not-- how did he get anything into or on the furnace without an adult noticing ?

Mom of 9-year-old charged in deadly fire breaks her silence

Oh... i just can't with the Mother. I must sit on my hands.
What a horrific tragedy.
The mother states the boy has profound mental illness. He has certainly proven he is a threat to society. I am unclear as to what the state could/would do to insure the public is safe once his five year probation is over. Given the extent of the mental disability his mother described and severity of his crime, it seems the state should appoint someone to monitor and his threat status, and make recommendations to the court system.

Amateur opinion and speculation

This article says the rest of the family was sleeping. No mention of anyone “running back in” the burning building. The mom weirdly says she was outside looking in the window and said sorry to her kids and boyfriend. Maybe she’s reconstructing what she thinks happened from what she remembers but that’s a weird reaction. You’d think you’d run to get help? If you weren’t trying to get your kids out too?

It seems weird to me too. Unless the fire was set near the door blocking the exit.

Speculation only but could someone have locked or blocked certain bedroom doors intentionally preventing people from escaping? That could show intent enough for a prosecutor to feel the need to charge intentional murder. Also would explain how only one person escaped - maybe mom and son were in the living/open area and the every one else were in bedrooms.

Very curious. Amazing story that the Mother was saved. And her son. Hopefully, he will get the treatment that he needs. At his age, even with premeditated murder charges, he cannot be incarcerated, since he is under age 9.

Apparently the boy got sent to live with a relative. I am amazed they got a relative to take him in. I'd sleep with one eye open.

Ok, I didn't watch all of them.

Guess I'm somewhat mystified by the furnace 'exploding'.
Maybe he confessed to the police that he'd doused it with lighter fluid ?
I'm trying to think of an accelerant that would be common in a household like theirs ?
This boy loved watching YouTube videos. I wonder if he watched some with people playing with accelerants and lighters?

I caught my son and his friend, being idiots at age 11----putting BBQ lighter fluid inside tennis balls, setting them on fire with long fireplace lighters, etc etc....:mad:

I asked them where they got that stupid knucklehead idea and they said they saw it on youtube. o_O

I think it was reported that her sister and parents came running out immediately as they live across the road from the burning trailer. They had already called 911 so Mom didnt need to go run for more help.

Going to abstain from videos showing abuse.
There was terrible documentation of the abuse of Adrian Jones and those videos stay in your mind.

The pics on the mom's FB I've viewed .... no comment.

The article about the furnace and a fireball... how would a nine year old know how to rig a gas explosion ?
Is LE certain without a doubt it WAS the boy ?
Not excusing him if he did something.

She seems like she's losing her mind on her feed. It makes no sense. I wonder if she's slept. She might need to be hospitalized. But it's odd.

Hitting a baby like that in the 10-22-18 video? So we know what went on in that household.
Yep. I think we do know. I hope the investigators are looking at all the factors that may have led this little guy to act out.

How didn't that mother have some burns on herself from trying to grab the toddlers and bolt for the door ?
At least from the time the explosion occurred until she ran out of the house ?
Something about this tragedy doesn't sit right.
And why was she taking a bath with her 2 year old niece at 11-ish at night?

Here is a WebMD article talking about childhood schizophrenia. Basically a diagnosis before age 13 is, “extremely rare”...

Childhood schizophrenia - Symptoms and causes

It appears bipolar is a potential diagnosis in childhood...

Bipolar disorder in children: Is it possible?
I have some personal experience with this through friends. Their daughter was thought to have BPD, but the docs all avoided diagnosing her as a child. And I don’t think that’s what it was - she’s a successful 20-something now, working and living her life. I suspect there was something going on with her brain that she grew out of.
