CARIIS, what is wrong with you? how many hours do you have! After several years in the field I came to the conclusion that we are the craziest people on the planet - the key is only to keep your sh$t out of your work with clients!!!
Well I'd be crazy if I had to listen to me all day.
Wait, I do!
Punchy anyone?
Can't really answer right now. But, .. if it was your loved one, when would you like to be informed that not all is as it seems to be?
Visitors would be wise to keep in mind the DUI patrols. Geesh.
Nothing new since this morning.
LOL CARIS...I love you, but you always think that somebody hopped a train! Not out of the question, but wouldn't LE know? JMO
I am also a local. While I haven't been to the old cement factory, I've been a patient (well, my animals have) at Fox Lake Animal Hospital since I was a child. There's a wooded area right behind the animal hospital (I guess really in front of it, since the wooded area is across the parking lot from the vet's front door) & every time I've had to take one of my dogs there to go potty, I've thought about how creepy & isolated it feels.
IMO, there is absolutely no way the Lt. took his own life. I did not know him personally, but I know many people who did. There is not a single person on the street here who thinks this was a suicide.
I'm not LE, nor am I into the drug scene, but I've heard that Fox Lake has been having some drug problems lately. I suppose what small town doesn't, though...
Also, Fox Lake is not upscale. It's home to working class people & a place where many go for water recreation when the weather is nice. There are also several bars there. It has a rural, small town feel, IMO.
I believe the killers are locals who somehow managed to slip back into their regular lives & elude the manhunt. I hope once forensics come back, that LE will have more to go on.
I've also wondered if it might be teenage perps, what with the high school being so close by, & with the odd time of day for people to be out acting suspiciously.
The police here are good, dedicated people. They will find these perps. It's just a matter of time. They are smart, too, & know their work. (I agree that the dumb reason given for not being able to view the video was a stall tactic. I'm sure they've seen the video. No doubt.)
Rest in peace, Lt. Justice is coming in your honor.
It does sound odd:
If the homeowner can view it he or she can't let LE watch it on the same system? Or is the homeowner also unable to view the recording? How hard is it to pull off the hard drive? If they did have to send it to DHS for viewing wouldn't it be like a huge priority?
I don't know. It doesn't make sense. Why are they stalling? Whatever is or isn't on there must be very big.
Snipped by me to save space---
Gliniewicz didn't kill himself...........no way..........no how.

THANKS! Please keep posting. I agree that the perps could be locals and that whatever they did thereafter did not raise suspicion. JMO

ABC7 Chicago 6:00pm newscast- Chuck Goudie.
I hope this newscast is up on their website soon. Questioned if there was any proof there were three suspects other than the radio call made by Lt.Gliniewicz. Questions as to why there's no info given to the public. It seems there's starting to be MSM doubt as to what really happened. I don't have a link as I just watched it on TV.
Not knowing what happened I don't ever jump to this conclusion.
Some people, right or wrong, go there quickly imo.
If there is any possibility of truth to the suicide theory, can you imagine how difficult it would be for fellow officers to accept or even ponder this possibility especially so soon after his death?
Also consider the call CG made framing three individuals who don't really exist, his retirement coming up soon though some men don't want to retire (so may provide a reason to be unhappy), two wounds if true and gun away from body if true. It seems as if the people who surrounded him would be completely clueless as to his self destructive mindset. The man had four children too.
There would have to be reasons and we know none of them so why speculate suicide?
I don't understand.
If true, CG went crazy or something else very bad must have been going on in his life behind the surface.
