Another question: where was the wife when all this was happening? She lists her occupation as self-employed on Facebook. When was she notified? At home?
Yes, it is strange indeed. No mention of the alarm you would think we would read based on unknown assailants. Which makes me think they have an idea as to what is going on. They are discussing a lot of hurt right now, seems deeper than just Lt. G being gunned down. Whether that be suicide or this was an inside job? Was it one of their own? And they have this knowledge? I only posted some of the commentary, the rest is in the link.
What two guys are you talking about?
Yeah, I agree " some" of the " confusion" was due to bad reporting. Some other stuff I ain't sure about.
So the one service weapon would probably have the serial number registered with the police? So another could not have been brought to the scene and switched with CG's? I know this is far-fetched.
To make it look like he had killed himself with his own gun. (Keep
in mind I am a total amateur at this).
I only give poor reporting the first few days after an incident occurs. I don't have time to go look back now but some of the misinformation/conflicting infkrmation came out more than a week after the shooting occured.
In general, as for this being being a pro suicide or anti suicide, or pro LE or anti LE camp, jt is unfair to lump people into either category. I consider myself in the pro TRUTH camp, whatever that truth may be on a CASE BY CASE basis.
Is it standard procedure for 1 LE officer to chase down 3 suspicious people BEFORE calling for backup? On foot?
Those extra 20 minutes without calling in. He could have been meeting an informant.
Yes, the dept knows exactly which weapon each officer is assigned.
Maybe Joe didn't know the other two were invited to the party? Two white and one black informants. 3 informants. uh huh.JMO
Is there a thread for this slain officer whose wife, Kassy Alia, spoke of Greg this morning, and proposed a heros in blue hashtag?

"I've been trying to imagine what Greg would say over the past 24 hours, how he would help me walk through this, how he would respond to others, and Greg was a man of few words. You just felt his emotion come through but then every so often he would have the most eloquent, beautiful, poignant think to say. So what that would be, that was a skill of Greg's. But I know that what he would feel is pride, and love, and honor. He would be so touched, and I know he would cry a little."
