@Niner Busted!I was up late, slept four hours and am now up early for work. It’s not an every night occurrence though.

Tuesday, May 12th:
*Status Hearing (@ 9am CT) – IL – Skylar Mendez (4) (Dec. 13, 2018, Waukegan; spilled juice on mom’s bf’s xbox) - *Johnathan T. Fair (19) arrested & charged (12/14/18), indicted (1/9/19) & arraigned (1/17/19) with 4 counts of 1st degree murder. Plead not guilty. $5M bond. Bond revoked (12/16/19), held without bond. DA will seek life sentence.
Trial was set to begin on 1/13/20-cancelled (12/16/19: unfit to stand trial).

1/28/20 Update: Defendant’s presence waived. Status of fitness hearing continued to 2/4. 2/4/20: Defendant’s presence waived. Status of fitness hearing continued to 2/25. 2/25/20: Status of fitness hearing continued to 5/5.
5/5/20 Update: There was no hearing. Previous hearing on 4/28 he was found competent to stand trial. Bond stands as is. Next status hearing on 5/12.

@Niner I just checked the docket. The case management hearing has been moved to 7/1/2020 at 9:00 am. Jury trial start date remains the same. I’ll check back on 7/2 for an update.Will post this until I hear from @Suglo

*Case Management Conference Hearing (@ 1:30pm CT) – IL – Skylar Mendez (4) (Dec. 13, 2018, Waukegan; spilled juice on mom’s bf’s xbox) - *Johnathan T. Fair (19/now 20) arrested & charged (12/14/18), indicted (1/9/19) & arraigned (1/17/19) with 4 counts of 1st degree murder. Plead not guilty. $5M bond. Bond revoked (12/16/19), held without bond. Trial was set to begin on 1/13/20-cancelled (12/16/19: unfit to stand trial). Fit to stand trial (5/12/20) & trial is set to begin on 9/28/20.

5/12/20 Update: Court found him fit again yesterday at the hearing. Judge heard the defense attorney’s motion to withdraw which was granted & a public defender was appointed for him. Court also set a case management conference for 6/17/20 at 1:30 pm and a jury trial for 9/28/20 at 9:00 am.
