Here's a link to a PC on CBS4 FB on May 22, 2019. Although it concerns the Flora fire which is still unsolved for 2+ years, a reporter asks a pertinent question concerning the Delphi case and Supt. Doug Carter responds. I think it shocking after 2 plus years. Interesting portion begins at the 18 min. mark or thereabouts. MOO as always.

I am not able to listen to this at the moment. What did he say?

Others saw him on or near the trail, too. Nothing new about that, really.

A witness was walking their dog, and turned around at the bridge/end of the trail, and there was BG coming down the trail. I don't have a link It's been over two years, now, a lot of links for MSM reports about the case are now dead ends.

The witness said they passed BG, then passed A&L but didn't exchange any dialogue with the girls.

There were many people there that day, at various times. Describing when the girls were dropped off, Libby's sister has mentioned that there were "lots of kids" there, or something to that extent. So I'd imagine there were quite a few witnesses who saw BG, in that general area, whether up close or at a distance.

I don’t remember this, so the witness passed BG before A & L ? He was behind them on the bridge, so does this mean he stopped and let them pass him?

Thank you for sharing this, I hadn't seen it. IMO when a child goes missing or murdered, a dual track investigative strategy is used by LE. They investigate inside the family/friend circle and they also investigate stranger or unknown perp. IMOE it's a lot like practicing medicine, it's an art and a science, also ruling out various possibilities is an important step in finding answers.

“Again that gets into the investigative strategy of Delphi, and I’m not gonna go there.” - Doug Carter

Yes, absolutely. I have viewed numerous videos and stills of that side of the room trying to figure out who Carter may have been looking at. I only found 1 person I think it could be, if in fact he truly was speaking to someone in particular on the right. I am not sure if the person is who I think it is, as he is in the back against the wall and it is hard to see detail. If it is who I suspect, he is a relative of my POI.

I will have to look at press conference video again. I did find the ID Discovery videos by James Renner on YouTube. There are 10 short videos which are well worth watching. They are located under James Renner.

I recently watched an episode of “Hiding in Plain Sight.”

A little girl had been abducted, sexually assaulted, and murdered all within the blink of an eye when while at a church event she left to use the restroom and disappeared.

Her body was found shortly afterwards in a nearby dumpster. The perp turned out to be a Taxi Driver who had stopped at the church to use the restroom. The little girl was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time.

My point is that there was a very specific profile developed by BAU FBI. One thing I found noteworthy was that they stated that the killer may frequent parks.

I’ve mentioned this before, as this was something our Late Great @Foxfire used to talk about.

eta: Another thing about that case: a female confessed, but they knew it couldn’t have been her bc male fluids were found on the victim’s dress. But here’s where “keeping details close to the vest” really proved to be beneficial:

A man at a massage parlor asked his masseuse to confirm his alibi for the night before in case anyone asked. She thought this was suspicious so went to LE. She then wore a wire and tried to elicit a confession. He said “ I did not beat that little girl.” Well guess what- LE had never revealed that the victim had been beaten.

He then came after her later that night and sliced her throat—she survived. This goes to show the danger a witness can be in.

She said that she saw herself as the father character in the movie. She was responding to a question regarding what she thought should happen to BG once caught.

Do we know if DTH was immediately preceded with "guys?" Its been my understanding that the released audio communication wasn't a solid, fluid string of conversation from BG. Meaning that there may have been other audio or lapses between "guys" and "down the hill."
I think it’s a fluid conversion and not lapsed, spliced, or altered. The muffled sounds I believe are because the phone was put into her pocket and as she moves you hear the muffled sounds. MOO

I don’t see why LE would alter it if the point is to have someone recognize the voice. I think they can’t release more because it includes the actual crime taking place.

Two things...I won't say what I think, I say what I know ( might have been phrased vice versa) and the vast majority of Delphi girl's families have been cleared, which means some have not.
If you now listen to the April PC with ISP Carter's, I say what I know not what I think, it surely would seem the ISP know quite a lot about the killer.

Now with ISP Carter saying not all family members are cleared yet, well ohhh boy does that create questions.

In the Renner interview with the sheriff he says the attack was not captured. It’s the 2nd interview about a minute in.

Edit: the Renner interviews are really good. Highly recommend giving them a listen if you can.

Interesting!! Is this the 10 part series? I have not seen it yet thank you.

It is. I think it’s the 8th part.

Edit: it’s actually the 10th. Renner asks if the attack itself is on the recording and the sheriff says no.

I am on the fence. But 60% for this theory.

All Delphi was looking for girls. They are not heartless people. And now, $200K is a lot of money. And yet, no one is providing “that” tip.

People might be simply scared. Not for themselves. For their kids. Because they saw what happened to Libby (and, I understand, even Abby who was a witness).

Where is the idea coming from that Libby was the target?

Google Maps

This is google maps showing the road that goes under the SE end of the bridge. It turns into a private road at the end, just before the bridge AFAIK. Street view won't work on it at this point.

ETA it does make a bit of sense that he could have parked there for a short time. MOO

Someone mentioned that a recent program had very clear audio without those weird noises. Can someone post the thing again, if it is an allowed source, with the timestamp of that audio?

I kind of read his response to that question to be antsy and dismissive....like he really didn't want to get into discussing Delphi. By vast majority I took it as maybe some distant cousins haven't been interviewed so he didn't want to commit to saying 100% no family, but he didn't seem all that concerned IMO. He also threw out how the families have been leading the public interest so was actually complimentary. I could be totally wrong, but I didn't get the feeling he was hiding anything, just that he did not want to release that kind of insider info about the case and he also did not want to get off track concerning the fire PC.

I guess because there were 2 of them and either one may have been the target with the 2nd being killed as a witness to what happened. Motive for the initial targetting is what is being speculated about IMO.

I'm speculating it's speculation, is what I'm guessing.
