I really doubt he is locked up.

The murderer is about power, they say. To the same degree, he is about control, over own life and the lives of others. I don’t know who he is, but the man is a control freak. And arrest would imply ultimate loss of control. I don’t think he’ll allow it to happen.

This shouldn't be about control or power. It should be about bring a killer to face Punishment for crimes committed. Justice for the the Girls and Family

Nope nope nope

Do not for one second believe LE has any clue who this monster is.

IMO this was an opportunistic sexually motivated attack by a stranger. Which makes it all the harder to solve. I believe they have DNA but no match. I believe this case will be solved when someone related to BG gets their DNA in the system. All moo

This is also my impression. There are several cases, cold and otherwise, that we follow here that are in similar status. For reasons unknown, some LE don't want to go the route of doing forensic DNA genealogy. It's unusual. LE sometimes indicates they know who it is. If so, its hard to understand why they haven't moved on getting a DNA sample.

Did BG have planned his crime to be over in such a short time frame or did he have planned, to hide the girls and return to them for further measures? I'm not believing anymore, what LE says. And btw: where is the TWIST in the story? Allegedly there was one.
I don't know, but I believe along the line LE said it was odd the way they were left or something.

This concerns me How many cases are there? Are they all through out the state or in counties close by

Verrry interesting! I didn't know.
Yes, I do recall something being said by LE at some point! And if that holds true, then that would explain why there wasn't an emphasis on public safety. I wonder about that.

GA police was involved already. Nobdy knows, why at all.
I believe this was discussed alot in the earlier threads but I can't remember what was said about the reason for them being involved lol.

I also wonder if there were any new developments re. this possible suspect who had committed suicide, as police were going to follow this. Man Who Committed Suicide In Indiana Police Standoff Also A Possible Suspect In Delphi Murders Of Abby Williams And Libby German
I am wondering if He knew what the the missing piece of the puzzle is. Maybe He is part of the Missing piece. There is so much more that appears to be. I want to be wrong with my thoughts of the case. I Just want Justice severed to the Killer(s)

Georgia Bureau of Investigation, GBI, is a statewide investigatory agency. They are called in by local LE when needed. They assist in most major crimes in GA because the majority of counties in GA, 159 counties in total, are small and lack the investigative capacities to complete an investigation. I think most crime scene evidence goes through one of the GBI labs. GBI is very good.

"Other cases", meaning a variety of murder cases where LE has DNA evidence from the killer, but haven't arrested them. There's a variety of cases with this status, not related to Abby & Libby's murder.

My original point was that LE hasn't said the public is safe, or that the public should not be scared, which has been stated here that LE has literally said that.

Is youtube an allowed resource? It was an interview with him
The county sheriff, TL. You can look up “Delphi murders 2020 - interview reveals...” on YouTube. TL has quite a few videos.

“this was solely related, or isolated, if you will, to the individuals involved”, the sheriff said in this video.

A "local" is not a "stranger", that's the problem here. Doesn't fit quite well, IMO.
Why not? I think a local very well could be a stranger to the girls and their families.

Maybe if I have the time, I can make a transcript. To me it sounded like the police knew, or guessed, at least, who and why. I personally think that the community is NOT safe.

Yes. And it, to me, indirectly indicates that the murders were not of a sexual nature, otherwise they would never say, “isolated”.

I’m not sure where it’s coming from, there was no emphasis on public safety in and around Delphi following the murders because that’s not at all the impression I got from following this case early on. I wonder if “no emphasis on safety” is turning into an urban myth. If it is, for what purpose?

We’d have to spend time searching through a lot of the early threads, which I haven’t done but I recall there being several Town Hall meetings as reported by locals, local police canvassing residents - many actions not reported by the media but aimed directly at local residents who were directly impacted. As residents had a right to be alarmed, certainly the personal safety concern would’ve been expressed during these times.

The role of any police force is promoting safety of a community. Therefore it’s highly unlikely any police department is going to make a broad and general announcement the community in which they’re charged with protecting is “unsafe” unless there’s an immediate and active threat that is known. I can’t recall one single news report where a local police department has announced their community is unsafe unless they are actively tracking a known murderer, leading to an imminent arrest. If a suspect hasn’t been identified, every community with unsolved crime would remain unsafe for days, months and in this case years and we’d all be facing a lifetime of hiding in our basements.

What does “safe” or “unsafe” really mean anyway? Is somebody less safe from a 2nd time murderer not yet arrested than becoming the future victim of a 1st time murderer?

There was a list of safety initiatives published earlier as a result of a Delphi workshop. It’s not unique, simply good practises promoting personal safety.

Defense from danger: Chicago-based self-defense group holds workshop in Delphi
The One Light Self-Defense Team offered numerous tips during self-defense training Sunday in Delphi. Here are a few of them.

General safety

•Have a strong appearance, which means head up and eyes forward.

•Appear confident, even in an unknown location.

•Have your cellular phone charged and easily accessible.

•If you carry a weapon, make sure you are properly trained in how to use it, including pepper spray.

•Avoid dark and secluded places, and try not to walk alone, especially at night.

Parking lot and car safety

•Get into your vehicle quickly and lock all the doors.

•Avoid distractions that keep you outside the vehicle for a length of time.

•Don’t wander the parking lot looking for your parked car. Take a picture if needed and remind yourself of the location before you exit the store.

•Try to walk toward the middle of the aisle and in a well-lit location.

Trail safety

•Be aware of your surroundings.

• After you pass someone else, don’t assume you’re safe until there is enough distance between the two of you.

•Go completely around, not between, other runners or walkers.

Of course this psycho is a child killer. He is more than likely a serial killer and violent sex offender with tons of victims all over the place. He may even be married, people need to start talking IMO If you are a significant other to one of these serial killers and you know that they are doing this as far as I am concerned they are accessories to the crime. Should be in jail also. No excuse for people killing children. IMHO

Also SK’s keep trophies hidden but sometimes a family member finds the container they keep them in or LE will when they make an arrest. I think this killer probably took pictures of his work. The outline under part of his jacket could be a camera on a neck strap.

During a live chat Kelsi did last year on her YouTube channel, someone asked her if she was afraid knowing that BG was still out there. Her reply was, “No. If he is who I think he is, he won’t hurt me.” I’m not entirely sure what she meant by that or if she had simply worded her response wrong, but it was a pretty startling response and I something that has stayed with me all this time.
she should be asked to clarify that. I’m sure LE must have made her explain because there was a lot of talk about it.
