I'm really glad this came up again while I'm actually online because I wanted to ask if you think it's possible his shoulder & arm are also misaligned on that side, giving us a distorted idea re his true build?

Way back in the threads people thought that uniform dark area was a stripe on his jacket, but maybe it's just slightly out of line too? If you look at it symmetry-wise, he does seem bulkier on one side?

Right. I believe she explained it was the work of taking a still frame from a video. But that line is not a stripe. And it does make him look asymmetrical.
Also I think his right arm is just a little farther back like if he were reaching in his back pocket or pulled his arm back to reach under his jacket. If you tilt your screen to view him straight it helps I think.

Also comparing them two photos B has a big gut which I have noticed before and so that means the jacket has a gap at the bottom as the gut stops it coming down smoothly.

Whereas photo A the jacket closes normally and it does not have a open bottom because the stomach does not protrude out so much.

I see someone already posted the Carroll County properties map, thanks. What I find interesting is the property lines East of Highway 25 all run through app. the middle of the creek.

I am tending to think therefore the victims walked over to where they were found ( RL property) as opposed to have been intentionally dumped there. They did not have to be 50-70 feet into the property IMO. They could have been dumped right off the waterline, unless the killer was looking for more privacy (tight timeline?) or the victims just got away and were recaptured in that particular area or the bodies were dumped there approaching the property from W 300 N/ cemetery.

IMO, the murders were quick and he was booking it out of there by 3-3:30 at the latest, and on foot, likely to a house, either his own or a friend/relative, that he could reach in 15 or so minutes. JMO

Yes absolutely... I have a few and carry. And when I do carry it's on my left side because Im left handed and I wear my watch on left arm as well.

Sent from my SM-S903VL using Tapatalk

If you're left-handed and carrying on your left side, then your gun is most likely positioned butt-up, whether in a belt holster, a pocket, a handbag, or whatever. But would you use a shoulder holster on your left side, with the weapon essentially under under your left arm and the butt positioned down or front? That's the way the gun is positioned on BG's right side, which is why most think he's left-handed. The only (weak) argument for BG to be carrying that way as a right-hander would be that as a criminal, he knows the element of surprise will be his, and thus a fast draw won't be needed.

My thinking was that if somebody had maybe seen him earlier in the day and he had a weapon somebody may of noticed it and taken note but it seems like carrying a gun would be pretty common and actually wouldn't stand out.
I live in a state where weapons permits are easy to obtain and carrying weapons is relatively (key word) common. Even still, only a minority of the people here carry weapons. Also, having taken out a permit does not mean that the individual actually uses the permit daily, though some permit holders do.

In the end, I would view carrying a weapon on a hiking trail in my state as being uncommon, but not unheard of.

Law-abiding citizens and someone with crime on their minds are two different creatures. I might have a Slim Jim in my purse in case my car automatically locks my keys in, don't ask how I know it does, or I might be a car thief or burglar. There may be a good reason to carry tools commonly used in burglaries with no nefarious purpose in mind, but if I'm pulled over with 58 laptops and iPads in my backseat...

How many criminals will be concerned they're illegally armed with a firearm? IMO

To give you a little more perspective from a person living in rural USA, I wanted to add that when I see someone carrying, even though it is legal and not unheard of, it raises my alarm bells a little, and I definitely take note.
Thank you to everybody who replied about my question on Guns.

every time i look at this pic i see so many similarities between the two.

pretty sure the cops think that too.. proving it's the key..now they have 3 1/2 years to do it

they seem to carry themselves in a very similar manner.

Those won't open for me, thanks any way.

There was a map posted threads back that showed the property lines, showing where the boundaries were for the properties on the south side, inreference to the residence whose driveway goes under the bridge. Wanted to see if they owned the whole driveway or it was a right of way. Jmo

What about video and audio?

All data. That would include pictures, audio/video. Data stores on the memory of the device and that's why we can see it. The article explains even if we delete it doesn't mean it is erased from memory it's just no longer in a file we can easily access.

It's a very interesting article.

". . . we recovered not only pictures that were critical to the investigation as well as a week’s worth of text messages that were critical to a serious homicide investigation.”

"A detective from Wisconsin reported “the most recent one probably may be a shaken baby case where the suspect ran over his iPhone to try to destroy evidence on the phone we were able to do some physical repair on the phone itself and then use the UFED physical to recover data from the phone and recovered some deleted text messages directly related to the crime.”

". . . We do homicide cases, child 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 [cases], fraud cases, when you’re dealing with high profile cases they want all the data including the deleted stuff.” He further described a homicide investigation where the police discovered a soaking wet iPhone, with a shattered screen, that had been buried and was underground for at least two weeks. When he looked through the phone himself, he found ten text messages and about twenty voicemails. When he used the UFED he recoverd 80,000 text messages and about 20,000 voicemails. “The text messages had the two guys texting each other about the alibi that they were going to tell the police if they got caught.”

Look at the head on B. That photo appears to have been sized down to make it look like bridge guy. Plus, as you say the proportions are different. moo

The photo of RL is sized down to make it the same size as BG. RL is farther away in this photo, he's a bit taller.

Thank you. It may be an alternative explanation as to how LE came by the video if they recovered the phone in damaged condition and the video didn't auto-u/l to the cloud. I wonder if it was submerged in water if that would hinder recovery of data.

How tall is BG? I don't believe they have ever said. Correct me if I am wrong.

Anything new or is RL still being considered the BG on this thread?

LE has never give even an estimate; sure wish they would.

One of our fellow posters with military experience (iirc) drove to the bridge and made several measurements. His best guesstimate was 5'9" to 5'10".
