I assume these are witnesses for the prosecution? I’m not familiar with this paperwork.

Er... maybe? I'm not terribly familiar either, and I don't have much of a "Who's Who in this case" going yet either, at least when it comes to full-on institutions, etc. Think we need a lawyer to confirm...

Yeah I would think so. Not their job to find witnesses for the defense.

Also, I think it's useful to point out that the LCSW wouldn't have had anything in particular qualifying her as an expert in dwarfism or age progression; and I have my strong doubts that the LCSW attempted to do so. I think she just did a psychiatric evaluation as to Natalia's mental state; and I suspect that when the information is presented as part of a court proceeding, we'll find this out for a fact.

Seems like a fairly extensive list of hospitals the prosecution are citing as witnesses. St Elizabeth Franciscan hospital, Helen Devos Childrens hospital, Riley Childrens Hospital, St Vincent's Stress Centre, Neuro Diagnostic Institute...

I'm actually British living in the States. So a bit more relaxed about stuff than an average American but probably not as relaxed as the Dutch lol. I got shamed to heck by my husband's family (also from Indiana) when I wore a shirt dress without a bra. Barnett's were going against their own norms for sure I would say. Just demonstrates that they never saw her as a real person IMO.

That’s a really good point. They’re from Indiana. She’s being treated like an object here.

And I'm sorry but... I just don't get how anyone can deny this was a child. She has so obviously gone through puberty since 2010-13.
I'm 31. She is not 30. wish I had that luminous bouncy skin still but, alas.

Some people actually see those photos as looking all the same....

Heather Long is an adult education professional in Indiana and Heather Wilson works in primary and secondary education. Lindsay Yenna is a property manager in Lafayette. Wondering why Chase bank is a witness. Hmm. Dr Riggs (sadly deceased). And at least two other doctors I cant pinpoint without first names.

In this image here, shared by Kristine to the Daily Mail, you can clearly see two adult central incisors. The teeth either side (the lateral incisors) should be similarly square and flat, almost but not quite the same size. These are considerably smaller and more peg like. This would put N at 7-8 years old.

Once again, the only source for her having a *full* set of adult teeth (as opposed to the rather woolly statement of "her dentition was described as adult" in the doctor's letter) is Kristine.

N was an legal adult at that point because the Barnetts had changed her birth certificate. The CPS won't become involved with a legal adult. N was very, very lucky indeed to have been taken in by the Mans and not someone more sinister.

I suspect the charge of abandonment was made because it side steps the sticky mess of her age entirely.

Once again - legally she's an adult. Even if she is reverted back to her original birthday, at this point in time she is legally an adult, and they can publish her pictures with no concern.

If the birth certificate is correct she was almost 7. I think she seems about a year old. About 8. The first and second age assessments seem to line up with that.

Yes. Those are all listed as state witnesses.

Dr. Riggs is deceased? That’s unfortunate.

When I saw chase bank I figured it had something to do with her SSI.

Thank you for the information.

I find it quite interesting that there’s a stress centre there. I wonder if it’s the one Michael mentioned taking her to after her first alleged attack on Kristine. He gave the impression that they were convinced that she was an adult.

That’s what I thought too (Chase Bank & SSI).
Notice #20 on the petition for Age Change: “A change of birthdate can provide _______ the ability to file for any assistance she may qualify for from the government”. I imagine they filed for SSI as soon as this petition became a court order. With Michael as Representative payee. Now, SSI applications take time. But once approved it would back date to at least the time of filing. So very likely Natalia got a large lump sum. There are SSI rules about maintaining a bank account with the funds and also spending down the funds to 2k or less, so that possession of a large amount of money doesn’t render the recipient ineligible.

It's a confidential hearing though right? At least for Michael. Presumably he cant report what goes down there.

Michael’s attorney Terrance Kinnard is here alone. Kristen is here with attorney Philip Hayes.

I think this is the hearing for Kristine to return to Florida.
