New here, and just heard about Natily today, so playing catch up! What I do know, the bail bondsman is not the person that was arrested, Lonnie Painter was. He arranged the bail, and was also the last person to be seen with her. This is the link to one of the bounty hunter/bondsman's Facebook page. It has a post full of info. Still lots of questions... Lonnie Painter was found unresponsive about 4:30 a.m. Dec. 14, 2019, with life-threatening injuries at the Metropolitan Correctional Center at 71 W. Van Buren St., the U.S. Department of Justice said in a release. Staff called for EMS and began life-saving measures on Painter, the release states. He was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead. The Cook County medical examiner’s office ruled his death a suicide.
