It seems the spin is to act indignant that the entire file will not be released - (knowing there is no possible way it will ever be released), it is there, according to Lin and John, that one will find the real story that does not add up to the charges. LOL Gotta love LinWood - he wrote the benchmark playbook for the high-profile ambulance chasers of today. You can trust that the news will play this down for exclusive interviews. What I'm most curious about is if Burke is mentioned in the indictment.

Were Burke's name mentioned in the indictment, though, would it be redacted?

ACandyRose,
The bad guys always make mistakes, ask AH, will he be doing any media interviews shortly, will his financial connections with the Boulder legal fraternity be exposed, will the USofA media turn his rubbish bins inside out?

Your internet resources have been an inspiration to many on websleuths and have contributed directly to release of the indictment.

ACR: your site has been my reference in so many cases, but never more than in this one.

I am not a vengeful person, but in this case I want so many of the people who did this and help cover it up to be PUBLICLY charged and castigated for their nasty deeds and for their shady ethics.

I wonder if JR is staining his chonies knowing the hammer is about to fall, or is he so arrogant that he still thinks he is above the law and untouchable? Hmm.

I will have to wait a whole day to find out.......:loveyou:

I won't even be disappointed if I learn nothing new. I'm just thrilled all involved in the bold faced lies are exposed for what they are.

The questions and suspicions will never rest.

Too many people will never forget JonBenet and how justice was denied and will continue to expose more and more of the truth.

Oh no! :scared:

I am soooooo sorry. I didn't mean to be a party pooper.

It just occured to me that BR was a minor then....so I wondered.......

Nope, he is no longer a minor. I can't think of any other reason for the redaction.

Most likely, the name of any minor written in the document will be redacted -- as will the name of any victim of sexual assault (although in JonBenet's case, the public already knows she was sexually assaulted). If you want to look at a GJ indictment from a similar case with redacted names, take a look at the one in the case of Aarone Thompson (she had eight siblings living with her when she was killed):

That was my thought, too, but then I read that since BR is no longer a minor that he was fair game.....now I am REALLY confused.....:waitasec:

I, for one, think Burke is /was an innocent in what happened while he probably slept in his own bed.

I want to know what others who were adults testified. I want to know what the Barnhills said about JonBenet on Christmas Day, when Patsy told her friends that she was " getting a cold" and could not ride her new bike with friends at that time.

I want to know what Don Paugh had to say about his time with JonBenet, both at the Ramsey house and at his corporate condo in town at the time. I want to KNOW when he left Boulder specifically.

I want to know what Fleet and Priscilla White saw and knew.

I have prayed for this day, prayed with tears rolling down my face. Please, please, let there be readable, non-redacted statements which can tell us more about JonBenet's last hours on earth.

I think I can deal with the fact that neither parent incurred any punishment on this earth if I could at least know that JonBenet was not chronically abused.. as I suspect she was.

Sweet beautiful child, you will never be forgotten!!

His age NOW does not matter. What matters is the age he was when the crime was committed. He WAS a minor then- and his name probably will be redacted. Doesn't really matter- he was the only minor in the home (to the best of our knowledge) so we all know whose name is blacked out.
He can't be charged now for that same reason. He is home free forever.

There are one or two minor friends of BR that some sleuths may want to consider in the mix.

I wish I could thank this post twice. I can't tell you how many times I've gone to acandyrose, looking for a quote or document...and there it is. That site is probably LE's and a few reporters #1 research site.

JonBenet deserves this!! I've always had this horrible, sinking feeling that the 6 years that little girl spent on earth were probably not as loving and happy as they appeared and that her death was essentially the sum of abuses she suffered for quite some time. Tomorrow will be HER day. JR can protest all he wants but his daughter is going to speak from the grave.

OMG, Ruthee was one of the first people I was thinking of yesterday when we heard the news. And I've thought about her many times over the years.

In your example the minors were probably still minors when the document was released. The Ramsey indictment is being released seventeen years later...he is no longer a minor and every court document I've come across where Burke was involved in litigation, his name was not redacted (multiple lawsuits). I think it may be different because he is well known in this case. It just wouldn't make sense to redact the name of a 26 year old man whose name is well known.

I was reading her letter to JonBenet earlier and it made me cry. Some were in this case to solve a mystery...which is perfectly fine and nothing wrong with that, but Ruthee really felt deeply for Jonbenet. I think she went straight to her when she went home.

I too want to thank those who worked to get these documents released. Information being free might be the only justice JonBenet ever receives (in this world). Bit by bit enough might be revealed to paint a sufficient picture whereby the majority can come to a conclusion. I respect many of the theories put forth on this site, but key information must be missing or well enough obscured when informed, considered and rational people don't find more consensus. I recently broached this topic on a broader forum and people quoted the exoneration and touch DNA as proof of IDI ... I hope whatever happens today, doubt is cast back into people's minds regarding JonBenet's parents.

Not much longer now-- it's evening here in NSW, so hopefully the indictment will be out & available when I get up in the morning. Darn time zones! ;)

I did just have a thought that sort of worried me: given that JR loves to play the sympathy card, I'd not be surprised if he has a sudden, convenient health issue pop up, know what I mean? Perhaps he'll claim he's having a heart attack as the stress of the whole situation will be getting to him. Then he can revel in some people saying "oh poor put-upon, sweet, innocent JR", etc. Anything to deflect the truth, any ploy... he and his criminal defense team are ever so good at manipulation.

Another thing I noticed is that on a few news article the press seems extremely biased in favour of Ramsey innocence, in spite of facts that are already out & known that point away from an intruder. Some of the articles flatly have their information wrong; guess the world of journalism ain't what it used to be. The thing that bugs me is I wonder if the press will still be supportive of the Ramsey BS, and if so, why? Is it because JBR's murder needs to be made even more salacious & horrifying by attributing to scary, stalking strangers in order to sell papers/get web hits/etc.? Or is it because the truth of parents who kill (even by accident or neglect) is just too awful to comprehend, so it is easier to imagine strangers?

Just some random thoughts, see you all a bit later!
