Interim discussion regarding questions from the jury and Arias on the stand #82

IIRC The smell only became obvious after his bedroom door had been opened. The dog couldn't get upstairs. The devil while in her fog, put a gate up to keep Nap downstaies.

Granted the dog was prevented from going upstairs, but Mimi Hall said she noticed the bad smell in the house.

Hall says the house smelled really bad, and they eventually made their way upstairs to Alexander's bedroom.

That makes me feel sick to be honest. She obviously wanted to see the pictures so she could make up a story to fit with his injuries. :furious:

UGH! You and me both! I bet she also wanted to secretly admire her handiwork.

Hey boss.. i'm not coming in today I have the "Jodi flu". :floorlaugh:

I'm to the point of wanting to fake sickness to not go to my job today. If only I could. Ill see y'all back this afternoon. Save my seat for my front row to justice! Justice for Travis y'all

I understand why people are wondering how the roommates didn't sense that something was amiss but in all probability, they did. It's just that when you smell a bad scent, you're far more likely to think, "wow, someone needs to take out the trash," not, " wow, maybe there's a dead body upstairs."

Phoenix Az does not observe DST. They are now 3 hrs behind EST.

I don't know when Travis moved to Mesa, but he was born and raised in Riverside, CA. He still has relatives in Riverside. Surely he was used to the usual gridlock in both counties! It's not like he was born and raised in Yreka which has a population of around 8,000. I bet it was more Jodi's reaction to the big city traffic - not Travis.

I think she was just lying trying to paint Travis as easily riled up as part of her self-defense strategy. Other than an occasional exception, Californians are good drivers, and for the most part polite ones. A salesgirl who moved here from Europe said her family didn't believe it when she told them she didn't know where the horn was! Because nobody uses it here.

I think if he did, he found out that she also had a brazillian wax done.
In her pictures, shes waxed. She bought the facial pads (2 containers) at walmart. Why would she buy those on a road trip? Oh, because thats what you use on your hoo-hah after you get waxed.

She said she only waxed because Travis liked it, so if she got a wax that day... it further proves she planned to go to Travis'

LOL, when I read Brazilian, I thought she got a Brazilian blow-out, quite a different procedure!

What would be the point of checking for dog fur? She's not denying being there. Unless the fur can tell the detectives when she broke in, how she broke in and how long she was there, checking for fur would be a waste of tax-dollars.

I'm still dying to know if Budget charged Jodi for the missing floor mats.

Also, I saw somewhere she brought the car back on empty. How much did THAT cost someone who was rolling pennies and being frugal? I do know the rental places charge over and above the going rate of gasoline so that's the renters' (Jodi) incentive to refill the tank back to where it originally was instead of being charged an exorbitant amount.

Yeah, I'm just not seeing checking for Napolean hairs in the car would make much sense. Besides, by the time they might have thought of it that car would have been cleaned and rented multiple times. They have to move 'em out the door as fast as they can to make good enough profits.

Not sure anyone remembers me, but I used to post just as NashBridges during the CA trial. I even flew to Florida for the verdict and never posted again. I will never be able to explain the sadness and heaviness in the air in FL when that verdict was announced.

I vowed to never watch another trial again. Yet here I am, sucked right into this whole gong show. I recognize many posters names and hope I'm welcomed back with open arms. I've been lurking here since the trial started and finally ready to give into my urges and let my guard down. I will admit, I've lost a lot of faith in juries but something just tells me that this time, things will be different. JA isn't walking free from this.

I've also been lurking on the JA is innocent site, just to see what those people are actually thinking. What I've witnessed the last 3 days is sickening. First the amount of hatred, craziness over thinking they found some big dark criminal record of Travis' and now they are turning on their own members who are questioning the validity of JAs' testimony if Juan can prove she had 3 gas cans. It's disgusting and alarming how they are attacking anyone who doesn't have the same opinion as them.

That place is torture to read. I haven't lurked there in weeks. I stopped after one nutcase wrote, "I hate Travis so much" and one woman's description of the murder (it was so dehumanizing). They're so evil, hating on a man who has been dead for 5 years and who is now being murdered again at the trial of his murderer.

The Jodi supporters fall into three categories.

1. Man haters
2. Mormon haters
3. White knights in shining armor (think Carr)

They're a sick bunch. I find the "white knights" the most offensive. Some of them have even expressed fantasies to marry her when she is "acquitted".

No matter how the WalMart Jodi is talking about handles returns, no cash will be given by the cashier without a backup receipt/transaction to cover the cash going out of that cashiers' drawer. The cashier has to account for every single penny.

Thanks folks, I don't want to miss a single syllable today, hehe.

I am really confused with this DST, I am in the EST zone and for the life of me, as simple as it sounds, I still can't figure out this time change carp.

Tigerbalm your time zone map really helps, thanks!

Don't forget that she was also adamant that she had not been in Salt Lake City. LOL.

moo

Just throwing this in the random sleuthing information bin: I lived in the area in Utah and have been to that Teosoro.

Everyone going to California from I15 has to go north toward Salt Lake City to pick up the I80 and drive west. The freeway signs are huge in this area because it is THE major junction in the whole state. They say SALT LAKE CITY with arrows. It is not possible that a person could drive through this area and not know they were in SLC "because I didn't know where the city limits were."

I wish we had Judge Judy.

She had taken pictures of DB in the shower that he was not happy about (and did not know about). I also think the one photo of the "peen" is him - if you look at still photos of his hands and compare the fingers in that picture - they are identical (see attachment - hopefully I attached it!).

I truly believe that, just as she made recordings and took photos to ruin any future relationship for Travis, she has dirt on DB and MM to make them WELL beyond nervous.

Just my 2 cents.

Wow, Lulu, you are so right, that is DBs hand, not TAs. I wonder if this will come back up? I suppose there is no way to re-address this. DB is not going to admit that is him in the photo, JA is not.

Wish there was a way though.

The jurors have seen Arias as bold faced and very near brazen in her cross examination and they feel free to attack her credibility in like fashion. I'm hoping to see more questions like "How is it you said Travis had no guns in the house in your interview yet you now say you knew of the holstered gun since November 2007?"

I find it hard to believe the whole Walmart story in regards to the refund. On a "limited budget" on a long trip, I would think cash would be something JA would use for her precious Starbucks.

And one more comment about this gas can refund: No matter what type of payment is given back for the exchange, no matter how small the amount, the customer has to sign his/her name as having received the refund amount. Period. Where was that document??

Just another, "Oh, ch*t" moment for the :liar: defendant. Caught again with the blazing pants. IMHO.

It's FINALLY Wednesday!!! Yayayayayay! I've missed y'all!!! :seeya:

I have been bored to tears with nothing new to discuss, but this 5 day break may well have saved my marriage...

On second thought.... :waitasec: Just kiddin...JUST KIDDIN!!

Can someone please make a sticky of the Time Zone/DST map on the top of the forum?

I guess it keeps getting buried and everyone seems to ask about it.
