He has 60days before he needs Congressional approval.I disagree. This military action did not go through Congress. IMO
Many presidents have used this.

Why didn't Obama need approval
More than a decade ago in 2014, legal experts said Obama had the authority to launch airstrikes in Syria without congressional approval.He basically did what he needed to do because ISIS terrorists were targeting the U.S.
At the time, a White House spokesman said since ISIS was targeting the U.S. and posing "a threat to Americans in the region and could potentially, down the line, pose a broader threat to American interests and our allies around the globe," Obama didn't need to seek Congressional Approval.
Plus, Rep. Steve Cohen, D-Tenn., said asking Congress would lead to chaos.
