What we and other nations "want" is irrelevant, as long as terrorists in that area claim that the only solution is the "final solution". They don't care what "Westernized" nations think. A select few nations can put pressure on terrorists to abandon their immediate goals and accept a two-state solution. But if the same beliefs are allowed to flourish, there will never really be peace because from time to time, someone will answer the call to kill Jews. When a religious conviction, that killing certain people is authorized, necessary, and celebrated, is tolerated, I don't see terrorists being contained by a two-state solution.

From the below article:

Hamas official Fathi Hamad said:
"Seven million Palestinians outside, enough warming up, you have Jews with you in every place. You should attack every Jew possible in all the world and kill them."

ITA. And, obviously, this cannot be stated often enough.

If their "final solution" efforts and their "river to the sea" death chant isn't stopped and silenced, everyone across the world must accept there will only be more death and destruction in the middle east AND BEYOND.

''The international community has sent billions of dollars in aid to the Gaza Strip in recent years to provide relief to the more than 2 million Palestinians living in the isolated, Hamas-ruled territory.''

''— From 2014-2020, UN agencies spent nearly $4.5 billion in Gaza, including $600 million in 2020 alone. ''

— Qatar has provided $1.3 billion in aid to Gaza since 2012 for construction, health services and agriculture. That includes $360 million pledged in January for 2021 and another $500 million pledged for reconstruction after the war in May. Qatar’s aid also goes to needy families and to help pay Hamas government salaries.''

— Egypt pledged $500 million in aid after the May war, but it’s unclear how much has materialized. It sent construction crews to clear rubble over the summer.

— Germany and other European countries will spend nearly 70 million euros ($80 million) on water projects in Gaza this year, in addition to their contributions to UNRWA.''

'' The US has spent at least $5.5 million in Gaza this year on cash assistance and health care, in addition to contributing $90 million to UNRWA operations in Gaza and the West Bank.''

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has described Israel’s attempts to minimise casualties in Gaza as “not successful”.

Netanyahu was asked by US television’s CBS News whether Israel’s killing of thousands of Palestinians as it retaliates for the 7 October attack by Gaza’s ruling Hamas militants would fuel a new generation of hatred.

“Any civilian death is a tragedy. And we shouldn’t have any because we’re doing everything we can to get the civilians out of harm’s way, while Hamas is doing everything to keep them in harm’s way,” Netanyahu said.

“So we send leaflets, (we) call them on their cell phones, and we say: ‘leave’. And many have left,” Netanyahu said.

Israel has said the goal of its military campaign is to destroy Hamas.

“The other thing that I can say is that we’ll try to finish that job with minimal civilian casualties. That’s what we’re trying to do: minimal civilian casualties. But unfortunately, we’re not successful.”

At least 11,470 Palestinians have been killed in the Gaza Strip since the Israel-Hamas war broke out six weeks ago, according to figures by the Palestinian health authorities.

The ministry said 4,707 of the dead were children and minors and that 3,155 were women.

The vast majority are civilians killed in Israeli airstrikes.

Palestinian Red Crescent team 'trapped' inside Al-Ahli hospital

1700186102859.jpeg

We brought you updates about an Israeli operation at Al-Shifa Hospital, Gaza City, for much of the day on Thursday.

But several hours ago, the Palestinian Red Crescent said its medical services teams were "trapped" inside a different city hospital called Al-Ahli.

They said staff were hearing explosions in the area, along with "intense gunfire".

"There are several casualties in the hospital courtyard about 30 metres away from our teams but they are unable to reach [them]," they said on socila media.

There's been no update since then. Israel has yet to comment on the situation there.

The BBC is unable to verify what's going on on the ground - this work is being made especially difficult by the ongoing communications outage across the Gaza Strip.

As soon as we know more, we'll bring it to you.

All that money and Hamas leaders living their comfortable lifestyles. The only outcome is still the training of their children to become terrorists, as well as teaching and dictating the "Final Solution" and their chant "from the river to the sea". 75 years of it, and likely 75 more.

I believe Simply Southern said it best earlier today...

Stupid....doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome. Moo

The Committee to Protect Journalists raises alarm over 4th communications blackout in Gaza

From CNN's Hamdi Alkhshali

The Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ) expressed deep concern Thursday over the fourth communications blackout to hit Gaza after Paltel Group's announcement of a complete shutdown of communication services across the Strip due to a severe fuel shortage.

This disruption puts internet and phone connectivity at serious risk, posing a grave threat to journalists reporting from Gaza and their vital coverage.

“By withholding fuel from Gaza, the Israeli government is preventing journalists from providing the world with updates on the war, leaving the international community vulnerable to deadly propaganda, disinformation, and misinformation," said Sherif Mansour, CPJ Middle East and North Africa program coordinator.

Mansour urged immediate action, calling for Israel and Egypt to "immediately allow fuel into the Gaza Strip as part of the essential humanitarian assistance needed in the region.”

The blackout raises concerns about the potential impact on the flow of accurate information from Gaza and its repercussions on global understanding of the situation.

The obnoxious, angry protesters that we see around the world could learn something from the victims.

For balance, there is another side to the Israeli Army.

This female Israeli soldier is bravely fighting a 55 year old Palestinian woman while other soldiers weld her door shut. Hebron has alot of streets off limits to Palestinians and check points. Makes movement hard.

Evidently some kind of moving violation (get it, get it) led to the mission.Israel Palestine is a complex place.

On 16 November, for the second consecutive day, Israeli troops, accompanied by tanks, raided Shifa hospital compound in Gaza city, and reportedly took control of several sections. According to the hospital’s director, the southern section of the compound was damaged, including the radiology department, and the forces took several corpses from within the hospital. The impact of the military operation remains unclear.

Netanyahu: Israel had ‘strong indications’ Hamas hostages were held at Shifa Hospital

In a CBS interview, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says that Israel had “strong indications” that at least some of the hostages were held in Gaza’s main Shifa Hospital, “which is one of the reasons we entered the hospital.”

However, he goes on, “If they were, they were taken out.”

He says that Israel has “intelligence about the hostages.” But, he notes, “the less I say about it the better.”

PM: Israel seeking ‘minimal civilian casualties, but unfortunately we’re not successful’

[...]

The premier declines to say if he’d agree to let go Palestinian security prisoners in return for the Israeli hostages’ freedom.

“There are certain things we are holding confidential until we have something to tell,” he says.

Netanyahu says Israel has “concrete evidence” on the use of Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City for military purposes, alleging leaders of the terror group and “terrorists minions” fled the medical facility as Israeli forces neared.

“We are doing this very gingerly because we’re trying to do the moral thing, the right thing, to deprive Hamas of having this safe zone in a hospital, but at the same time to neutralize its use as a command center for terror. And so far we’ve achieved that,” he says.

The prime minister stresses Israeli efforts to minimize civilian casualties in Gaza, while saying Hamas “doesn’t give a hoot” about Palestinians.

“We’ll try to finish that job with minimal civilian casualties, that’s what we’re trying to do, minimal civilian casualties, but unfortunately we’re not successful,” he says.

Netanyahu also says Israel wants “overall military responsibility to prevent the reemergence of terror” in Gaza but not to reoccupy the coastal enclave.

Additionally, he is asked if Israeli settlers in the West Bank who engage in violence against Palestinians will be held accountable.

[...]
“We hold anyone taking the law into their own hands or committing vigilante violence — that is out, we cannot accept that,” he asserts.

Gender based violence, the S/As at the festival are more horrifying than imagined, WARNING GRAPHIC starting @4:10 ESPECIALLY @5:09

Re the linked video from CNN:
His last words are so true and alarming.
Shame, shame on anyone not calling out Hamas for these atrocious terroristic acts.
Calling them less than terrorists is an insult to the women they gleefully tortured.

#BREAKING: Tunnels and weapons Confirmed at Shifa Hospital:

I've confirmed the location of the tunnel and the pickup truck with weapons, which the IDF said it found at Shifa Hospital.

Tunnel location: 31.524753,34.444200

I combined three screengrabs from two different videos released by the IDF to create a POV (Image 1) of the layout of the area.

Compare POV image with satellite photo:
Red dotted line represents the outline of the Internal Department at Shifa.
Yellow dotted line represents the Pharmacy at Shifa.
The blue dotted line (in satellite photo) represents the area the IDF revealed the weapons along with the pickup truck.
The purple area represents the approximate location of the tunnel shaft.

Egyptian Officials are reporting that 90 Palestinian Children who have been Injured as a result of the War in Gaza will pass through the Rafah Border Crossing tomorrow into Egypt before being taken to the United Arab Emirates for Higher-Medical Treatment.

At least 8 Missiles launched by Israeli Aircraft are reported to have Struck several Positions of Iranian-Backed Forces near the Syrian Capital City of Damascus.

I honestly doubt the hostages were kept there.

Maybe at the beginning - for a day or two.

But later?
Nope.

I guess they are kept in small groups in places obscure (far away tunnels or even on the ground) - not so conspicuous as this hospital.

And what about the hostage exchange deal??
With children and women?

The Sound of Silence :(

The United States and several European Countries are reportedly discussing the Deployment of a Multinational Peacekeeping Force to the Gaza Strip which may include U.S. and NATO Troops similar to the KFOR Mission in Kosovo; these discussion are being had in the hope that this Deployment may allow Israeli Ground Operations in the Strip to Wrap-Up with this Force being seen as able to prevent Hamas from Returning to Power, but so far this has not yet been seen as Feasible.

And he isn't wrong. There  is evidence they were there-- at least one hostage's body found. jmo
