They provided some care? The hostages should never have been in Gaza to begin with.

And, this is rich:

NO. He died because he was kidnapped by Hamas terrorists and taken to Gaza. MOO
Plus, elderly people are very vulnerable.
Just the stress and fear can kill them.
We don't know if he was given food and water.
If he witnessed other hostages die that would've taken a toll on his health.
Omo.

A rabbi and an imam called a meeting of Jewish and Muslim students at Queens College

A Muslim student said, “Yes, October 7 is resistance, according to the Geneva Convention.”

I think the poster was scoffing at what was in the article, not at you.

And yes, Hamas saying the hostage died from panic attacks due to Israeli bombs was slightly ridiculous.

Photos show desperation for bread in Gaza

Bread is ordinarily a staple food for people in Gaza. But fuel shortages mean bakeries have come to a crippling halt.

Earlier this week, the UN's World Food Programme confirmed the shutdown of Gaza's final bakery operating in partnership with the agency.

Today, it warned of the "immediate possibility of starvation" among Gaza's population of two million people.

The following photos, taken in the southern city of Khan Younis earlier, show crowds gathered around one of the few bakeries still operating in the area.

Brunei, Indonesia and Malaysia have called for an immediate, durable and sustained humanitarian truce leading to cessation of hostilities in the Gaza Strip, Reuters reports.

The countries said they were issuing their statement to give a better and fair reflection of the discussions on the Gaza situation during a meeting of leaders from the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) in San Francisco.

Israel and Poland’s Under-21 players hold unauthorised minute’s silence

Israel and Poland’s Under-21 players held their own unauthorised minute’s silence immediately after kick-off on Friday for the victims of the 7 October Hamas attacks.

The gesture in Lodz came after football governing body Uefa did not approve a moment of remembrance for the game for those affected in last month’s attacks.

Both sets of players stood in silence after the referee blew his whistle to start the game and no action took place for the opening minute. The players remained in their formational positions rather than congregating in a line for traditional pre-match tributes and there was silence around Stadium LKS.

Hamas health ministry says 24 patients dead in two days at al-Shifa

The Hamas-run health ministry has said that 24 patients have died over the past two days at al-Shifa hospital due to power cuts caused by the lack of fuel.

"Vital medical equipment has stopped functioning because of the power outage," explained ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qudra.

Al-Shifa has found itself on the front line. The Israeli military launched a raid on the facility on Wednesday after insisting Hamas' headquarters were located in tunnels beneath the hospital - something Hamas denies.

I know this is a serious topic but this headline sounds like the start of a joke..

So a rabbi and an imam walked into a bar...

I don't know why my mind went there. Lol. Sorry, I'll show myself out.

Majed (9), in a tent camp in Khan Younis following his displacement from Beit Hanoun. His home is said to have been destroyed after the family left. “I wish all of this was over. We’re tired of wars. What we need now is water and food. The amounts we get aren’t enough. We eat only once a day.” Photo by UNICEF/El Baba, 15 November 2023

Gee, I wonder if the PM is waging a war on civilians in order to delay his trials--yes, it is plural-- on corruption charges.
JMO

Before October 7, Likud advisers, former politicians, and Israeli political analysts predicted that Netanyahu was betting both his liberty and his legacy on clinching a US-brokered normalization deal with Saudi Arabia.

That deal — which some analysts predicted could lead the public to forgive Netanyahu for plunging Israel into nine months of turmoil with his government’s bid to shackle and politicize the judiciary, as well as his ongoing corruption trials — is now in a deep freeze.

On 17 November, for the third consecutive day, Israeli troops, accompanied by tanks, operated within the Shifa hospital compound in Gaza city. According to hospital administrators , since 11 November, 40 patients, including four premature babies, have died in the hospital due to the lack of electricity.

No humanitarian supplies were confirmed to have entered Gaza on 17 November, as of 18:00, for the third consecutive day. This is due to UNRWA’s inability to receive and distribute additional loads, because of its lack of fuel, compounded by the shutdown of telecommunications. However, one truck carrying a small amount of fuel is said to have gone in, pending confirmation.
