As far as doctors at Al Shifa chopping limbs ?
Of course that's possible.
Sadly I believe this is likely, that medical staff could be harming hostages.

These Israelis are their enemies, they're taught to hate from kindergarten, and they must feel they have no compunction to treat them humanely.

We don't know that the two bodies recovered near the hospital died in the manner Hamas claimed they did.

What I don't think is that any of the hostages are "o.k.".
Hopefully alive, but not alright in the sense that they're being treated well.

What about those with medical conditions ?
The babies ?
The elderly ?

If they do anything like trying to escape or refusing to do what Hamas tells them to do ... yes, a doctor would know how to sever a limb.
Let's hope this hasn't happened, but as the hospital staff seemed to be silent re. the Hamas activity in at Al Shifa and elsewhere; they could do anything that the terrorists tell them to do.

Doctors in past history have committed dreadful crimes.
Harold Shipman and others long before that.
Omo.

(long thread with a lot of info)
Some thoughts after attending today's 47-minute screening of Hamas's atrocities on Oct 7 at the @UN, following a searing speech from @MosabHasanYOSEF - son of one of the co-founders of Hamas.

I'm seeing Red Crescent when I read the article, NOT Red Cross

(We gotta enough agencies to be mad at! - MOO. Although the ICRC somehow failed us too.
However, I am waiting for details)

View attachment 462494

Looks like they've updated it. I copy/pasted from the blog, not the article. And it now reads "Red Crescent" as well. MOO

Negotiators near deal with Hamas to release hostages

Moussa Abu Marzouk, a founding member of Hamas and a senior figure in its political wing, told CBS News senior foreign correspondent Holly Williams on Monday in Doha, Qatar, that the two sides were "close" to reaching an agreement that would see his group release 50 hostages in exchange for a five-day cease-fire — and the release of 100 Palestinians from Israeli prisons.

He said Israel would also cease all flight operations over the southern portion of Gaza during the temporary cease-fire, and for six hours daily in the northern part of the enclave to enable the transfer of hostages and the provision of humanitarian aid supplies.

Marzouk's description of the prospective agreement differed notably from what other officials involved in the talks have spoken of, primarily for its inclusion of the release of Palestinian prisoners by Israel. He said all 100 of the Palestinians in question were women, children and the elderly currently in Israeli prisons.

Marzouk acknowledged that Hamas could not account for the location or condition of all of the Israeli hostages in Gaza, and he reiterated the group's claim that some — "maybe around 60" — had been killed by Israel's ongoing bombardment of the densely-populated enclave.

Others, he said, could be captives of other Palestinian militant groups or even be in the homes of Palestinian families.

"Nobody can search about this," the Hamas official told CBS News. "It's a war."

After meeting families, PM says returning hostages ‘a sacred and supreme mission’

After meeting with the families of Israelis being held hostage in Gaza, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stresses his commitment to securing their release, calling it “a sacred and supreme mission.”

“We will not let up until they are returned, and this is the responsibility of me and the war cabinet,” he says in a statement.

“I listened to the pain of the families. We spoke heart to heart. I shared with them as much as I could about the diplomatic, intelligence and operational efforts we are leading around the clock,” the premier continues, adding that he thinks about the hostages “all the time.”

“We will not stop fighting until we bring our hostages home, destroy Hamas and ensure there will no longer be a threat from Gaza.”

Haniyeh claims Hamas close to reaching ‘truce’ deal with Israel

Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Hamas politburo, claims that Israel and the Palestinian terror group are nearing an agreement on a “truce” amid the war in Gaza.

In a statement posted to Telegram, the Doha-based Haniyeh says Hamas gave its response to Qatar and other mediators, without elaborating.

Yes, I meant to specifically note this yesterday from one of the videos I posted upstream

The group had driven to this kibbutz from the festival thinking they were safe.

The video, shared via South First Responder's official Telegram account, shows how people who came from the Nova Festival in Re'im arrived at the location where the security cameras were in Kibbutz Alumim thinking they were safe, the group posted on Monday.

I think there were a few reasons they took the hostages

I think that^^^ was the least important reason. JMO

----They wanted power and leverage against Israel.
----They wanted to create terror in Israel and among the Jews globally--as seen by the FB videos they sent to the families showing the assaults/murders and kidnappings
----They wanted to humiliate the hostages as seen by the many horrid videos seen online of them being thrown in trucks, or dragged around violently
----They wanted to prevent Israel from entering restricted areas by implying the hostages would be harmed

Once all of the above was done, if any of the hostages survive, they can possibly be traded for women prisoners
I doubt Israel would let any male terrorists be traded anymore, since previous ones took part in the Massacre
I agree. They'd been planning and stock piling in the tunnels until they deemed today is GO MURDER...

More than 1,200 Americans, relatives waiting to leave Gaza

More than 1,200 Americans, legal permanent residents and their family members are asking for help to leave Gaza, the State Department said today.

The number has risen from less than 900 just a few days earlier as Israel indicates further military operations in the south, where most Palestinian civilians have relocated.

“We continue to identify either additional American citizens, or American citizens or permanent residents that have additional family members that they’re reporting to us, that we then try and get on the list to get out of Gaza,” State Department Spokesperson Matt Miller told reporters today.

As of today, 800 American citizens have already departed through Rafah Gate to Egypt, which remains the only avenue out of Gaza.

The "operational tunnel shaft" in the IDF video posted on Sunday is located just over 40 metres away from the Surgery Building. It was located using the distinctive white and grey stripes seen in the background of the video.

It's also around 50 metres from the chest and dialysis department and close to the eastern perimeter of the hospital grounds.

The hole was underneath a white temporary building spotted in a previous video posted by the Israeli army last week shown in the screenshot below.

Screenshot of an IDF video here posted on 16 November shows the white building where the tunnel is located

Based on historical satellite imagery on Google Earth, we found the white building was there in May 2022 but not there before March 2021.

Historical satellite images on Google Earth show that the white building was not constructed before April 2021. Pic: Google Earth
